Ok I have been waiting patiently for this place to open. They opened three days ago but they were admittedly not ready. I see potential but it’s pretty far away at this point. The bar was not well stocked — only have main stream domestic beers. In an IPA world I’m not sure how one will compete. Mixed drinks were limited as the cocktail menu has not been completed. Temporary food menu– again, working on it. The décor is interesting –eclectic. The atmosphere is cozy. The biggest drawback to me was the giant televisions blaring sports inside and out with no place to escape from it. I get it is a major sports week– it’s not my thing. I avoid places with TV. Everyone was friendly and I hope they pull it together and find success.

It’s basically a barbeque joint posing as a pawn shop. A really good barbeque joint. Pork & brisket sliders are super good. Like the Louis Vuitton above the kitchen, make an offer. Just about everything is for sale in here. So & Sos getting packed? That SMU crew of guys wearing slip on loafers with no socks still trying to ruffy your drinks? Check out Uptown Pawn. The owner is passionate and just may buy you a round.

Brand new bar, in a busy bar & grill scene. Large open floor plan. Inside several couches, 4 top tables, small bar for immediate service & outside patio seating. Laid back atmosphere and lots of TV’s. BBQ Brisket/Pork sliders and Texas State Fair themed menu(Turkey legs & funnel cake). Can beer and simple cocktails are go to’s. Change of pace from similar bars in the area.

New cool bar in uptown. Same chef from Le Taco is creating the menu with cool but simple bar food. Just opened up but see a great potential with it.
