Dr. Yang is a very good doctor. She is treating my chronic disease and I am very satisfied. The waiting time is roughly between 5 to 10 mins which is very good compared to other Doctors I have visited before. For my chronic disease, she monitored twice a year which is double other Doctors’ screening plan. She provided treatment as expected. She cared about the patients. She is the best out of all the specialists I have visited in the past for my chronic disease. There are a lot of good things to say about her but I won’t list them all here. I just want to point out that she treated my chronic disease which other specialists didn’t think it’s critical. According to my research, my disease is a silent killer which means there won’t be any symptoms until the advance stage and none of the patients survive from the advance stage. She provided treatment and monitoring/screening regularly trying to prevent the disease from advancing. After two years with her treatment, my health is much much better than before. Believe me, if you have liver disease, I recommend to go with Dr. Alice Yang.

she was pretty rude to my during my EGD& colonoscopy procedure. I also had a reaction to the prescriptions she recommended and called her twice to get advice and never received a call back. I’m still not sure what to do with my prescription issues, but I had to stop taking them do to an adverse reaction. Likely I will go find another doctor who can pick up where she left me hanging.

I chose Dr. Alice Yang because I wanted a female doctor, and she had five stars on the Healthgrades website. I made my appointment a month before my visit. My appointment was at 8 a.m. which meant I had to leave my home at 6:15 to beat rush-hour traffic. I arrived 10 minutes early and waited for the office to open which was not a problem. I was the first to arrive. Another patient, a doctor, arrived after me, and she was taken in first. I finally saw the doctor at 8:45 a.m. even though I arrived first. When the doctor came in, she was so rushed that she barely took time with me. She spent about 10 minutes with me. She scheduled a colonoscopy and endoscopy for me. She never came and consulted with me before the colonoscopy. During the endoscopy, I remember waking up as the tube was going down my throat(first time having an endoscopy), and because I was out of it, I tried pulling it out. Instead of calmly reassuring me that everything was okay, she proceeded to sternly admonish me by saying, «Don’t you pull that camera out… don’t you pull that camera out.» I had to call to get my results. She asked me to have a C.T. scan, which I had. I had to call to get my results again, which I did not get until over a week later. The doctor never did call me; instead, she sent the results in the mail. Therefore, when I called, her nurse, Ruby, told me what the doctor wrote on my results…“Results are relatively unremarkable”. I did not take the opportunity to speak with the doctor about what«relatively» means because I have decided that her care for me as a patient is not what I am looking for in a doctor who gets paid almost $ 300 for a 10 minute visit. I do not recommend Dr. Alice Yang. She is neither professional nor careful with all of her patients. P. S. I could even overlook the rudeness of the front office had Dr. Yang been professional.

Excellent doctor. Made me feel very comfortable leading up to an uncomfortable procedure.
