Wow… really disappointed… where to begin! I had come here today with an appetite but this place did not meet the expectations. It was just one of the worst experiences. I got here around noon time and walked over to the restaurant. I figured why not give this place a shot, right… WRONG!!! I should’ve run back to my car and headed to freakin Jolibee, SERIOUSLY!!! I walk inside and first thing I notice is no one occupying this place other than the owners, BADSIGNALREADY. Next, the sign that they have outside and the food that they serve here are two different things, smh!!! So, I then decided on getting some BBQ and then adobo. I was very skeptical about the order especially in seeing the portions but that did not do it for me. After picking out my items and placing them in the TOGO container the lady then proceeded…(here it comes folks)…to put the container in the MICROWAVE!!! Never in all the times that I have gone to a Filipino restaurant have I had my food placed in a MICROWAVE… nah bro!!! I know that a lot of the restaurant reheat their food from the day before(yes this happens often in a lot of places) but to do this in front me is just insulting, EEWWW! That just made me question the freshness of their food. Don’t get me wrong, the folks here are very nice and polite but the food has got to be fresh. The food should already be warm and there should be no need to warm it up, or am I wrong!!! The food itself was OK. I was a bit disappointed. There was a lot more bones than meat in my adobo which I am not a fan of. Just alright and not memorable. I cannot say that I would come back here but if I was in desperate of something to eat and I had to come here I would come for the LUMPIA only!!! The BBQ was decent enough though. #makeauturn #headtomekenineartopofthehill

Its my first time going to this place in Daly City. The turon was sooooo good. We had to wait for at least 15 mins. The turn was hot and fresh. Yummy!

Great service. The server was sooo friendly to the point that she even gave my stupid friend Owen toothpaste for his toothbrush. Great service. Amazing. 10⁄10 would come here again.

I’ve yet to try the other items on their menu but we go here 2−3x/week for their banana fritters(turon) and buy them in 10s. We’ve probably tried the banana fritters from every single filipino restaurant in the area and I have to say Filipiniana is the most consistent. It’s a hit or miss with other Filipino restaurants but Filipiniana’s are crispy and delicious 95% of the time. Now don’t be buying all the turons, save some for me! haha

Attended a bday party and had some bbq pork and chicken my aunt had brought to contribute to the party spread. delicious! She told me where she got them and good thing I asked! My husband and kids also raved about them later. I’ll be paying this place a visit to pick up more bbq and give their other dishes a try!

First off, if you know don’t make weird funny faces when you hear or read the word, «carinderia,» then you’re in the right place. This place reminds me of Manila. And that’s a good thing. Dishes I get here that are consistently good: «nilagang baboy»(think New England Boiled Dinner, but with pork instead of corned beef), tinolang manok, mungo, grilled tilapia stuffed with tomatoes and onions, chicken pastel, and fried galunggong. I live in SF and don’t have a problem driving to this place for lunch. That’s how much I like it. Note: 4 stars instead of 5 coz of I think they can do better in terms of sprucing up the place. But that’s really just bit nit picky. This place is the real deal.

Wifey and I took a turn around Mount Bruno this afternoon. We noticed a Shell station at the bottom of the hill, so we stopped to gas up. I caught a glance of a restaurant whose sub header was«Asian Food and Pizza». I had to investigate. JC F.‘s advice not to judge a book by it’s cover steeled my nerves. We entered to find an older Fillipino lady getting her nails done in one corner, and a group of older people separating and counting rice sheets in the other. They were nearly closing(7P), so we ordered something safe for white people – chicken BBQ skewers($ 1.75 each) and chicken adobo($ 7 for the large container). We added a slice of flan and a toasted coconut drink for me, and we were out the door for under $ 20. Within 20 minutes, we were gorging on sweet n’ sour skewers, almost a hint of pineapple sweet, and as soon as our pressure-cooked brown rice was done, we spooned tasty adobo gravy with chunks of chicken as we headed into culinary heaven. The adobo was slightly sour(vinegar), slightly salty(soy sauce), and also had bay and pepper overtones. The place itself was funky – probably too funky to eat in – but the take out was divine. We’re converted fans for Filipiniana’s Delight. Keep doing your thing, Filipinana!

This place changes so much that it stopped being funny years ago. However, I was delighted to hear that this new area would serve Filipino food. I haven’t tried it until nearly a year after it opened. Why today to write a review? I don’t know. Anyways, I would have to say that some of their food is pretty good. I guess it highly depends WHEN you come in. Their food choices are pretty limited but I’m used to it.(Manila Bay Cuisine has just about the same amount of choices.) however, I was definitely not satisfied with most of the plates I ordered from time to time. Yes their adobo and fish with vinegary soup that’s always needed to be reheated(don’t know the name of it… I just know I tried it many times before) is yummy. But I can say otherwise with their longanisa and rice. You ask, how the hell can they get the rice wrong??? Simple. At times I find tons of overcooked rice in my plate. I just can’t STAND any overcooked rice. ATALL. Then their longanisa… it’s always cold. Even if they do heat it up in a microwave. :(dont even get me started with the BBQ… let’s just say I’d rather walk a little longer to FilAm BBQ if I ever want some. I would have given them a 2 but their halo-halo and good customer service saved them an extra star.

I was craving longsilog and didn’t want to drive that far, so I Unilocaled«silog» and found this place. My best friend told me how she always eats here so I decided to check this place out. Filipiniana’s is tucked in a corner next to a laundry mat and a gas station. They looked pretty busy at around lunch time. It was pretty much the same setting, smell, and selection of any«turo turo» type of Filipino restaurant. They didn’t really have a lot to choose from which kind of disappointed me. Anyways, I thought I would be getting fresh longanisa but I got the last three pieces of longanisa displayed. :(The lady cooked the egg and fried rice right in front of me which is a plus but microwaved the longanisa to make my longsilog. Everything was good except for the longanisa. it didn’t really have the spicy kick I was looking for. The owner is friendly though!

This place did the catering for my sisters’ wedding. They didn’t serve Filipino food for the wedding but their food was awesome! Hubby also orders their lumpia, which he loves. Maybe one of these days, I’ll get to try their silogs.

This is a classic example of «Never judge a book by it’s cover. At first glance, you will not think highly of a food service establishment behind a Shell gas station and adjacent to a laundrymat, liquor store, and other low-budget food stores. After you walk into the restaurant, you will NOT be impressed. There are only 3 sets of table to accommodate just about 12 people. But order the food, and get ready for the flavorful ride! Food that I’ve tried and have been impressed with: BBQ pork skewers BBQ chicken skewers Menudo Kare-kare Bistek(INCREDIBLE) Leche flan(INCREDIBLE) Pork sisig Food that I’ve tried but wasn’t too impressed with: Pinakbet Pancit sotanghon I’ve had Filipiniana cater my functions ranging in size from 10 guest to 600 guests. They can handle it. THAT you don’t have to worry about. Friendly service, too! Very polite, attentive owners and staff! Enjoy your visit!

Everytime my agency has an event and need catered food, Filipiniana’s Delight to the rescue! My work is located where it has a lot of Filipino restaurants, but I had to support this place since I know the owners. I’m not giving them high rating because I know them, but it’s because they’ve been reliable and deliver good food! Whenever we need lumpia, I give them a call, then boom it’s ready! I need them to cater for our program, then boom they deliver. Clients and guests always appreciate the food. I referred my co-worker from another program, and she’s relied to this business to feed hungry students, parents and guests. This place just makes it easy to order food from them, and the food has been consistently good. 5 stars! They also catered for my sister’s wedding and it was the best catered food I’ve had in a wedding. It was simple yet food was delicious. Guests raved about it and even asked if they can cater in other places, hahah. I heard they have silog deals now! Still haven’t tried it yet, but less than $ 3 for some scrumptious breakfast? I’m there!

I live a few blocks from this place, and being Filipino I was excited that a smaller place than Lucky Chances would be opening nearby. I was a little confused because they serve pizza as well, and if you know what Filipino spaghetti tastes like this would be very confusing. I had the dinadakan and the bistek. The dinadakan was the better of the two, although i still wouldn’t say that it was amazing. It was like a Filipino sour brothy carne asada, and it was okay. Their bistek was not to my Filipino standards — it was extremely heavy with grease so much that it made my stomach feel weird. What made me add the extra star to the review was the service. This place has a very laid back and home like atmosphere — the workers looked like they enjoyed each other, making the eat in experience more pleasant.
