Steve is a great guy — personable, funny, professional. He follows up in a timely manner, and stands behind his work. I’ve been through a lot of plumbers, and Steve is definitely the best!

I retained Steve Lyons a year ago to fix my water heater. He got good reviews online, and he seemed nice on the phone. Unfortunately, he misdiagnosed the problem and I spent over $ 600 (which was double his estimate) for nothing. His pleasant demeanor quickly faded when I questioned the bill and the quality of the repair.
He also advised me to go online and research possible pipe configurations and different check valves that could solve the problem my water heater was having. Isn’t that the plumber’s job!!!
Just a bad experience and I will never go through him again.

They come on time, find the problem (or lack thereof), don’t do any work that isn’t necessary, can work on ancient houses like mine, and their prices are fair. They make every effort to save you money (fixing rather than replacing or giving you do it yourself tips for something really easy). Go no further. You can TRUST them.

I agree-​excellent and competent service. We called with a leak, and they were out the next morning and quickly diagnosed the problem (turned out it was an HVAC problem-​not the plumbing). We’ll definitely use them again.

Family-​owned, friendly, responsive, knowledgeable and fair-​priced. These guys have been my go-​to plumber since we bought a house many years ago. They have been around this area for a long time, so they know the ins-​and-​outs of the plumbing in the various houses. They are also respected by WSSC, and this came in handy when tree roots were clogging our sewer line beyone the limits of our property. WSSC did not even question me when I gave them Steve Lyons name, reimbursed us for the expense, and (eventually) replaced the line for us. I can’t say enough good things about ‘em.
