Love this place. Stopped here on our way to Fort Lauderdale aiport and it was the best idea. Perfect spot to have some drinks and eat really good food while you wait for your trip. Josh was our server and he was great, fun and helpful. Can’t wait to go back and brings friends and family.

The food is pretty good here actually a out of 5. I got the burger which stated all these meats but actually tasted pretty plain the fish and chips or fish sandwich is good. It’s cod so a little fishy but still crust was very good. The comments about service and good wait are for real and view is boats docked in dirty water. All in all it had potential and wasn’t a bad meal.

Here for the Happy Hour. Again! Great value at a relaxed, fun casual place. Half-Priced drinks and apps and great half-priced burgers! But the specials may not be that special. Easy to get to also, right at where Old Griffin meets Federal. Out the back you see boats moored at the slip.

Spectacular food, beyond spectacular service. Overlooking the marina, a 7 minute Über ride from Fort Lauderdale Airport. SO glad we decided to leave the airport during our 3 hour layover. We called Über they were there almost immediately, and we got stuffed with fabulous food and drink without ridiculous airport prices! Fish dip was great, and the shrimp tacos were THE best I’ve ever had. Hubs enjoyed his fish tacos greatly also. We explained that we had a flight out at the host station when we arrived and from there they fell over backwards making sure everything was perfect & timely. Felt like celebrities. One of the best if not the best restaurant travel experiences we’ve had.

This place has been around forever, but if you haven’t been RECENTLY, I urge you to GONOW. What used to be a slightly dive-like bar has transformed into a cozy dining room with an outstanding menu. Their slow cooked brisket sandwich is sublime, my wife loves the seared tuna appetizers. The menu is extensive, with a lot of seafood offerings, and a surprisingly stellar burger. Their kitchen gets the little things right, like the presentation of the food, and the crispiness and golden color of their fries The staff is very nice, and quite attentive and the manager checked on our table, and seemed genuinely interested in our experience. Their beer and wine selection seems extensive and the view of the marina from the dining room has just the right feel.

Not divey… But a definite sports /marina bar feel and vibe. Classic rock on for tunes, definitely my kind of place. Add to that a few TVs with different sports stations on and it’s a near ideal place for my demographic. Menu is standard bar fare plus some nice natural seafood additions due to the location. Based on the name Historic Dockers, this place must have been here awhile. I can understand why. I had the conch chowder which was solid and the Cod sandwich that was perfect. Service was good, prices were fair. I was in for lunch so no adult beverages for me. I say go check it out. Historic Dockers would have definite«go to place» potential if I lived or worked in the area.

Great bar near the airport with happy hour. Jennifer the bartender was fantastic! She never paused and kept everyone happy. I highly recommend the shrimp tacos! The ambiance is NOT«divey!» The restroom is very clean and updated.

RJ found this place on the Internet, and brought me here before we caught our plane at FLL. We had a nice view of the marina, and the waitress was friendly. We started with fried plantains, not RJ’s thing but I love them. He ordered lobster sliders, and I had fish tacos which were fantastic. We shared a piece of key lime pie. Now we know a good place to stop before the airport, since FLL has the worst food on the planet. Go to Historic Dockers instead!

So, we drive past this place all the time on the way to the beach… it’s always packed, and we always say, «We have to go there sometime!» Well, thanks to the bridge to the island being out(due to road work), that day finally happened! We pulled in because it was early evening and there was actually parking at that time and we are SOHAPPYWEDID!!! First of all, the fish and chips are FAH-bu-lous. This is my favorite fish in the entire area… both the fish and the chips were perfectly seasoned and oh-so-yummy. You just have to try it because it can’t be adequately described. The cole slaw was good, but not a favorite. I will be going back again and again for this fish… and again. But the BEST part about this place? THEEMPLOYEES!!! We were so impressed with our server that we made him write his name down for us.(Twice because his handwriting is a little messy… giggle) Josh Ervin is SOMUCHFUN. He had us laughing the entire time and made sure that everything was perfect and that we never ran out of anything… drinks were filled before they were even close to empty. Extra napkins were cheerfully brought because my sister got attacked by the cole slaw. And it wasn’t just Josh… his co-workers were interacting with us and having fun, too. What a delightful place! As for the atmosphere… lovely view of the marina via huge windows where you could watch people puttering about on their boats, typical tropical décor, and happy 70’s/80’s music. The place was CLEAN… usually we use paper napkins to touch salt/pepper shakers and if the fish had NEEDED any more seasoning(it was perfect as is), I wouldn’t have been afraid to touch these. The happiness extended to the other customers… they were chatting with us and it just felt RIGHT. Like, welcoming and homey.

First off the staff here is great. Secondly they have a great happy hr menu. This is a perfect place to grab a drink when waiting for someone to land at the airport. Also, as of this week, they started their football drink and $ 5 food menu. Nice selection and BiG full portions. Can’t beat it!

Finally went there for the first time after driving past it for years. Never thought much of it until I walked in. The place was way more than I expected. It was recently renovated and very upscale, didn’t get that vibe from the outside. My wife and I sat in a great spot overlooking the boats past the bar area, would really love it if they had an outside section but still really nice. Service was excellent and our food came out to perfection. She started with the lobster bisque, above average. I had the crab stuffed shrimp special and she had the shrimp tacos. Mine was good but I highly recommend the shrimp tacos.

I had a $ 15 for $ 30 groupon that was burning a hole in my cyber pocket for a month or two. Stopped by with a friend around 7pm on a Saturday Nite. Heading to Las Olas later, we just shared appetizers and a couple of beers. Da Appetizers: Seared Tuna and Crab Stuffed Mushrooms. Both very good at an ok price of $ 9 or so. No complaints. Da Beers: Cold lol. Nice selection of craft beers including the Funky Buddha Floridian. Coors, Bud, and other lite beers are only available in bottles. Not a real biggie. Da Ambiance: Chill. Too Chill! Locals at the bar were zombie like sitting inside in the dim light. We sat outside on the patio where docked boats are the only scenery. Not much going on here for entertainment or anything to enhance the dining experience. A definite chink in the restaurant/bar armor. Without a groupon, I would most likely pass. With a groupon, I may take a second look and come later at night to catch the live band…

Freshly re-done place. Sitting right on a marina I’m sure in the daytime it could be scenic. We came on a Friday night around 9pm for dinner and had a groupon to try this place for the first time. The place looks brand new and very clean. Reading the other reviews I guess it used to be divey. Now it’s all white and blues. The bar has a cool blue lights and curvy like a wave. There was a big sign that said seat yourself and the bartender greeted us and told us the same so we took up a table toward the windows near the marina. After about 15 minutes of no one coming over at all we got up and sat over to the bar. Later I saw the servers in the adjacent«lounge» room where the band was playing and they were rolling silverware and i guess decided to not check on their tables anymore. The beer selection has a few craft beers, nothing out of the norm of craft beer world. They had a funky buddah, due south, and a couple other locals. I tried an aviator which i had never had before. To eat I got the lobster silders which was three small buns with lobster salad on it. And it came with a wire basket of fries. The BF got the scallops which is about 8 scallops, cole slaw, and corn. The food was good but nothing to truly rave about. The bartender was nice and attentive. The live band was great and I was actually happy we moved over to the bar because we could see/hear them from where we were sitting. A bunch of folks were in the lounge room enjoying the live music and drinks. The crowd is on the older side. I would say median age about 45. Overall: bad table service and mediocre food doesn’t really give me a reason to come back and spend full price here for dinner(without groupon it would have been over 50 bucks) Perhaps a place to take in a drink and listen to music but that’s about it.

After a long hot day out in the sun enjoying the Dania Beach Seafood Festival, we decided the only proper thing to do would be to eat more seafood! And luckily we remembered the newly remodeled Dockers was near by. After getting lucky and finding a parking spot we walked in. No hostess stand, so we wandered around until a server told us to sit where ever we would like. The best room with the view of the marina was taken, so we opted to sit in the bar area. It’s worth noting that, yes, the remodel of Dockers is nice, and you can tell they put some money into the place. However, the view of the marina was a bit blah and there’s certainly other local seafood restaurants on par with Dockers that have a bit more charm, and a bit more of a view. The draw for me to come back to Dockers is a) it’s very close to my house and b) they have HH specials M-F, as well as trivia night on Wednesday. I wasn’t all that hungry, so I went with the tuna sashimi appetizer, which came out with wasabi cream drizzle and some cucumber. Now I get that the cucumbers were probably more of a plate presentation thing than anything else, but if so, the presentation was poor. Just some diced cucumber pieces which were almost too small to pick up with either fork or chopstick and really made the plate look a bit pathetic. That being said, my friends ordered sliders and sandwiches and their plates looked much better. So definitely stick to the sandwich side of things. I did have a bite of the lobster sliders and found them to be quite good, and my review may actually have been 4 stars had I ordered that! Worth noting — sandwiches come with fries only. The menu didn’t offer any other options for those wanting to stay away from carbs and/or fried foods. Though these fries were pretty damn good lol. Will I be back? Maybe since it’s close to me. But it’s not the first place that comes to mind when wanting a quick seafood sandwich option with a marina view.

I’d been to Dockers several years ago. A friend convinced me to go to a «dive» with him, and that it was! I loved every minute of it except the smell. It had a rather foul smell of smoke, stale liquor, and dirty toilet water. We played pool and had cocktails but all that has changed now. They got rid of the pool tables and did a complete overhaul of the inside. It is now decorated in blue and white with a nautical feel. Prior to going, I was at the Dania Beach Seafood Festival. It left me longing for seafood so we decided to stay local. I ordered the lobster sliders and my friends had the ahi tuna and the Mahi sandwich. Presentation was good and the sliders were pretty tasty. I’m not a fry person but they were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The service was good with our drinks refilled without asking. I would definitely come back and maybe check out their happy hour– weekdays from 4 – 7 and they have trivia(my fav) on Wednesday.

Historic Dockers has only been open three days. I haven’t a clue what is so historic about it, since with the possible exception of The Ancient Spanish Monastery which was imported stone by stone from Spain, there isn’t really anything old or historic in all of South Florida and if there ever was, I’m sure that such have long since been leveled or otherwise fallen prey to the developers. Matter of fact, I might venture to say that I’m probably older along with a good chance of being more historic than it. Historic Dockers has been completely gutted and refurbished from what was a rather seedy, prior dive bar occupant of the location. The exterior and interior are all brand new, very nicely done in bright whites and blues. I found the staff to be well trained, exceedingly polite and pleasant which is a good achievement on their part since they’ve only been in business for a couple of days. There is a bar area, which seems to be sports bar oriented, and two dining areas with one facing the docking areas of adjacent Cozy Cove Marina. So, you really do get a view of some water and though the boats docked at Cozy Cove don’t amount to much, pleasant enough to look at. Be aware, however, that there isn’t any public or restaurant docking which makes boating here somewhat out of the question. They serve both lunch and dinner, however, with only a few minor additions of pasta both the lunch and dinner menus are pretty much the same. For my meal I went for the dozen oysters priced at market and their lobster sliders. The oysters I had were of good size, good taste, served on ice and fresh in taste. The lobster sliders, served three in number, were basically comprised of a cold water lobster, fresh lobster sweet and distinct to the taste, somewhat overall akin to a lobster salad inside of tiny white untoasted hamburger like bread buns along with a small wire basket of fries. Overall rather good but certainly nothing that would set me raving about. As for the makeup of patrons, generally on the older retiree side with most being on season tourists or seasonal residents along with a few who are boat liveaboards from the adjacent marina.
