Do I like the food YES … Do I like the service ?! Not at all … They kept us waiting for over 1.5 hours for just 2 ppl! They have available table and keep you waiting at the door and they run their business !!! There are a few nice people between them but they definitely need more help … It just doesn’t make any sense to me the way they ignore your time importance…

The food was okay — general fast food fare. Where this place really lost me was the service. My friend and I were seated within 5 minutes, but the waitress took about 20 minutes before she took our order, and then it took 40 minutes before we actually got it. It was missing one of the items my friend requested, but once we alerted the waitress, she went back to the kitchen area to get it. I think the order was made and accidentally given to another customer. There were a few customers who left before their wait was so long.
I only saw 4 waiters working that Sunday morning and I think they need to hire way more. The place was packed. It doesn’t seem fair to the employees or the customers to have the restaurant so short-​staffed.

I am giving 1 star not for the food, but for the appalling conditions of the parking lot yesterday. If my mother (with Alzheimer’s) wasn’t so set on having a waffle there, I would have gone somewhere else to eat. The parking lot was snowy and icy. It was treacherous for my mother to navigate through it. Then when someone else with a disability was trying to get through it with their caregiver and a patron who was leaving, I heard the manager say «what, are they trying to fall?»! She was not professional and especially not helpful. Why wouldn’t she have it shoveled? There was a shovel in the doorway? Denny’s is one slip away from a lawsuit!

Eh, food was alright, service was okay. Only one waitress working and only one cook, took awhile to get food, the place needs a massive updating and the women’s bathroom needs to be bleached just to get the smell of urine out. I will not be going back

Like most chain restaurants, I always see low rating haha.
I came with 4 other people on a Thursday morning and there was no wait!
We all ordered breakfast food but no one had an issue with their meal. It’s nothing fancy or amazing but it’s not bad either.
Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we were all set.
I’m not a huge fan of their menu selection but this place doesn’t deserve anything less than ³⁄₅ from my own experience.

This shithole doesn’t even deserve a star! My daughter ate here late last night and had the horrors into the early morning. This morning I had to bring her to the ER because she was so dehydrated! People here should wash their hands and need to do a better job handling food, checking dates… How is this dump still in business?

The place smelled like it was carpeted and and never cleaned which it was. Carpeting in a restaurant… wow. The menu was literally disgusting and dirty. Food was really bad so was service. They ruin everthing at Dennys, couldnt pay up and leave quick enough.

If you’re high and hungry. This isn’t the place to go at 3 am cause food service sucks. Tried to convince my friends to leave but they said it would be mean for the cooks because «they’re already cooking the food» stupid.

After waiting 35 minutes to be seated in the half empty restaurant while the waitresses screamed and fought with each other in plain view of the customers, we finally got a table. There were filthy tables all around us that hadn’t been bussed, nor were they cleaned the entire time we waited. We ordered food and waited for another thirty minutes before giving up and leaving. Every customer around us was visibly disgruntled and annoyed, and many had been waiting for food as long as we’d been there (over an hour). At the point that we left there were more waitresses than tables, all standing around, arguing with each other, and generally not doing their jobs. The floor was covered in garbage and the entire scene would have been hilarious if we hadn’t, you know, wanted to eat some food. This isn’t the worst Denny’s I’ve ever been to, it’s literally the worst restaurant I’ve ever stepped foot in, in my entire life. I’m thankful that we left before the food came, as I imagine we would have gotten food poisoning, or worse. As I write this, there are orders piling up and no runners. There’s a ton of food and the waitresses have no idea where it’s going. Some of it had been sitting there for half an hour. This place is a complete joke.

Dennys in danvers is quick. Inexpensive great breakfast. Happy workers. We always get so much food it lasts for another meal. My daughter begged to go there its one of the very few places shell eat. Thanks Denny’s

My fiancé and I got food poisoning due to our food being undercooked. We went there for for breakfast about a month ago and it was such a terrible experience. First their waffle machine was down and not getting fixed for a few days. Get a back up you’re a breakfast place! Then our food was undercooked, my fiancés’ French roast was RAW in the middle and to top it off it was $ 17 for a whole lot of nothing. If I knew I was going to be spending that much for that little food I would’ve gone to a place that is actually nice. Then to top it off when left we ended up needing to go home and back to bed for the day because we were so sick and when I called the manager she acted like I couldn’t have been telling the truth and said she’d call me back which she never did. A week and a half later I called back and then told me I needed to wait for the manager to call me back. It’s been a month still nothing. They officially covered every base possible when it comes to being a terrible place. Go to IHOP or a diner or anywhere else instead!

Gingerbread french toast was delectable. Attentive waitress; was never without liquids. Beautiful Halloween decorations. So good Denny’s. The only bad thing was all my slam items were piled on one plate but that’s ok because environmentalism.

The food is better than ihop but the wait is ridiculous, it’s not worth it. Always under staffed. It’s a shame, with better service I would come back.

food was somewhat ok but the chicken sausage was either cooked or held too long, or microwaved one too many times. it had the texture of cardboard.
the ladies room was grungy and my partner said the men’s room stank. the service was not all that great either.

Had come here once before for breakfast and liked it so much decided to come back today. We’ll I’ll never come back! Why do you ask? Was the food bad? Was our server bad? I wouldn’t know because we were NEVER seated! We stood waiting to be sat while employees walked by completely ignoring us. Finally we were acknowledged and told it was gonna be a 35 minute wait that they were backed up. No one was waiting but us so where does the backed up scenario come in?!? Are you kidding the place wasn’t busy at all there were multiple tables open. Not only that the girl telling us about the wait was almost whispering so no one could hear her tell us this bull****!! Don’t waste your time.

«Cook» microwaved every single item. I sat at counter and I saw him do this. It was also molten hot. Waitress was lazy and rude. Waited over 10 minutes for her to talk our order. (There was only one other table at the time) We had our menus closed and were looked at her as she gossip about her boyfriend to coworker. Also $ 12 for a chicken bacon burger, WHOLE SH*T what a rip off. Did I mention it was microwave

My friends and I have a weekend night tradition where we go to Cityside Diner in Beverly for a late night breakfast. Now during the winter season they are closed, and we have had to adjust to Denny’s. The food is not up to par in my opinion. I can only order french toast so that I won’t be dissatisfied. My friend ordered an english muffin toasted with butter, and it came out completely untoasted and cold, soaked in butter. The waitress immediately apologized and brought out another one. But the eggs of two of my friends were cold! I’m not surprised – I never order eggs because they don’t know how to make them. It’s not a difficult task… Also one of my friends asked for coffee with milk and was brought cream. Waitress also fixed it, but it’s not an unreasonable request. How many times does a simple order have to be fixed? My other friend was very happy with his burger on a cheese roll?
Don’t go here with high expectations. It IS Denny’s.

Left around 2:40 in the morning with my friend to get breakfast at the Denny’s in Danvers, Mass (which took an hour to get to) && it was definitely worth it ! The two waitresses working were total sweethearts (Ashely & Zilia) so thank you, thank you, thank you for excellent service & the food was so tasty !! I highly recommend this specific Denny’s restaurant :))

Ok, Denny’s is under new management and coming back from the dead. They’ve got new paint on the outside, a new ceiling (thank god) but let’s not kid ourselves, new paint doesn’t fix the real problems… like I’ve no doubt there’s still mold inside the roof and I’ve seen the rats still scampering outside. Unfortunately, sometimes the exit door is left open when people go out the far side to smoke so who knows how many rats have made it into the building. Sorry, but that’s the truth.
Anyways, it’s still the only 24hr deal for miles and the staff has had its worst members culled out so everyone is cool. The grub is still perfect for its purpose which is to jam you full of decent food at a decent price and they’re often experimenting with new menu items. They also have a special $ 2 menu.
Loves me my 3 star dennys…
