We’ve been going here for a while and this place is amazing! Fresh pastries and awesome service is back with the change in management. Unlimited coffee refills and a warm atmosphere.

Had lunch there today and can’t say enough about the food we ordered! Everything was so fresh and delicious! Went there with my two year old and staff was extremely friendly and accommodating :) We loved the food and can’t wait to go back again and try their breakfast soon.

My family and I have been going to Café Meyers for years usually for breakfast and on occasion lunch. The food is constantly good and they will customize your order if you ask. The service is very friendly and personable. This is our favorite place close to our house for dining in and take-​out. Although the owners have changed recently, the quality, and service has remained the same. I highly recommend this café for families and individuals. Also try some of their new homemade pastries.

Good intimate place for coffee and a bite. Can seem busy when not, but smiling faces and good lattes go a long way with me.

I’m a bit of a health nut, so upon asking them to basically create my perfect meal exactly the way I wanted, the owner didn’t even think twice. Omelette without eggs or cheese? Salad instead of potatoes? Olive oil instead of dressing? Not a crazy request, but not exactly typical either. If they had all organic ingredients I’d easily give this a five star, maybe the next time I go I’ll bump it up. Everyone there was super nice. Can’t wait to go back.

My son and I enjoyed a nice breakfast together. The staff was super accommodating for my food allergies, and for my son’s special requests. So nice to have caring people in the restraunt industry.

Great breakfast and lunch in Blackhawk. Quick and delicious with good prices. Great coffee and lattes too! The owner is kind and caring. We go here often and always have a good experience.

this place used to be so good, but then they changed management and with that switch, they changed the fries. those fries were one of the reasons I enjoyed going to café Meyers, but now they’re gross and greasy. please change them back. Staff is super sweet, but won’t come back until the good fries return.

I ate a few sandwiches here. My take on Café Meyers is that for basically $ 1 more than Subway, you get better ingredients, better taste, and a nice order of fries (instead of a sad bag of chips) with your sandwich. Plus, an eclectic mix of décor, people, and menu items make the place interesting.

Café Meyers has new ownership and the place is terrific. Comfortable, basic, good coffee, good food and nice people. A great place for breakfast or lunch, excellent and accessible location with easy parking, owners who care about keeping their customers happy. If you have a chance, try Andy’s Bread Pudding — absolutely wonderful. I’m not sure it’s actually on the menu but it doesn’t hurt to ask. Yummy. We wish these people well in future years because their product is good, they take pride in their business, and are willing to do what it takes to make a success of their business.

I love coming here for breakfast or lunch. Since there aren’t too many great choices in the area, it’s so nice to have a spot that consistently puts out awesome food, and I’ve never been disappointed with the service. I’d specifically recommend the cheeseburger, and the waffles are made to order if you’re branching on a Sunday.

I’ve only been here once and I absolutely love this place! I love that the waffles are made to-​order and that the fruit is super fresh. My husband had the pancakes and they were equally delicious. The staff is genuinely friendly and the owner is such a sweetheart! I love the family feel of this place and will I’m so excited to try out the rest of the menu.

I dropped into the area for a meeting and arrived a bit early. I found this little place, ordered at counter and had a very nice and relaxing meal. Omelette was very good and overall they have very good portions. Just what I wanted in a Sunday morning breakfast place. If I am every back on the area I will visit them again.

I’ve been coming here for years and have never really had anything to complain about! Great place to come for a quick bite.
I most recently got the potato scramble and substituted bacon for spinach and mushrooms. Absolutely delicious!

This a good spot to grab breakfast without much fuss. The outside seating is better then the inside, just be okay with dogs.

I’m surprised that this place didn’t get more better reviews as their breakfast menu is awesome! When I first Unilocaled for breakfast places I came across Café Meyers but because of the mixed reviews we opted out not to try which was a BIG MISTAKE! Their food is AWESOME!!! I can’t say anything too much about their service and dine in experience but if breakfast still taste delicious and great as take out it means it is GOOD!!!
We have two young children and eating in restaurant is only if we really, really have to as they get antsy and messy, so we like to order our food to go. And plus on the weekends it gets packed here!
As we have been ordering our food many times now they know my husbands name as soon as he gets there which means that they recognize faces and regulars! Just shows that they are attentive and take care! When we order on the phone no matter how busy it must be they are ALWAYS FRIENDLY and ALWAYS get your order right! (seriously something you shouldn’t take it as given as many restaurants get your to go order just wrong!)
Their food is tasty, fresh, reminds you of your mom’s breakfast!, hearty and just mouth watering great! We ordered their pancakes, waffles, omelets, breakfast sandwich. We customized them and or just ordered from the menu!
If you want some great breakfast. This is definitely a good place to be and I’m all about supporting local small family businesses, especially those who serve great food and are friendly to customers!
