San Ramon Valley Physical Therapy

Krissy Vargas is my physical therapist and she is great!
She hasn’t seen me at my best for several reasons:
1. I’m in a lot of pain/​discomfort
2. I’m not a morning person
3. I’m in a lot of pain/​discomfort
Despite my crabbiness, she always manages to put a smile and quite a few laughs on my face. She is very gentle and cognizant of my pain threshold. She’s very observant and patient. Krissy has many tools in her PT arsenal to try on me to ensure I recover from my injury eventually. She has great bedside manner and has an overall great demeanor, professionalism, and competency.
If you need PT, this place is it. Everyone from the support staff to other patients and other therapists are friendly, kind, and conscientious; but Krissy is the best IMO.

This place is fabulous. The parking is easy. Front desk staff are all friendly. I worked with Shari for months on my shoulder and knees, and she made SUCH a huge difference for me. I couldn’t even raise my left arm over my head when I first went in, and now my shoulder is as good as new. She has also helped me make huge strides with my terrible crackling knees. Shari offered more insight on my injuries than my orthopedic doctor ever did. It all just made sense. I highly recommend this place.

I can pontificate, as I’ve had 13 surgical procedures all related to my shoulder;crappy Physical Therapists, Drs & surgeons until I met the Jensen/​Derek (SRVPT) team
IMHO,“you need to have your head examined” to go any where else!

So this practice has a new second location in San Ramon which I am now reviewing: I could go on about the friendly and efficient admin staff, the clean and peaceful office environment or the knowledgeable, thorough, helpful and personable physical therapists (Carrie and Amy). But mostly, I just want to say that these people are giving me my life back and I am so grateful. Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Marie for pilates based PT to rehab my L5/​S1 Spondylolisthesis. She is great and has been helpful in strengthening my core, posture and muscle usage/​activation. Her knowledge and care has truly made a difference in controling my condition. I highly reccomend her if you are an active person with an injury and are wanting to feel better, stronger and into physical activity again. It is great that this clinic features Pilates and the reformer within its services as it is hard to find and so valuable in rehabilitation.

I was sent here by my shoulder surgeon, Dr. Kirk Jensen and Derek has done a fantastic job at rehabing me after rotator cuff repair surgery in May 2010. In conjuction with Dr. Jensen, the two of them have hopefully put me back together again after a major surgery for someone my age. This surgery literally stopped me in my tracks (as an early 30’s person, I’m not used to being inactive and hurt!) and was a test in patience, emotional stability and stamina. The rehab was hard but I was committed so I’m nearing the end of the road to recovery and I couldn’t have done it without Derek! Jane at the front desk is always so polite and sweet while scheduling as is their billing person Angela. Just a really great experience all around. I’ve already referred people there and will continue to do so.
