Where do I start? The wait for the 9pm showing of Goosebumps was rather annoying one might say. Although, we(two friends and I) were able to pass the time by singing about Michael and Carol to the tunes of the Beatles. As we strutted to the payment booth, the cashier had a James Dean daydream look in his eyes and said it’d be about $ 30 for 3 tickets. I decided to pay first with my Bank of America debit card. However the, presumably, newborn worker for this cinema ducked up and put the payment for three entire tickets on my card. I was in utter shock, why would I pay for movie tickets for three people; we were not homosexuals on a date. I was horridly offended. Anyhow, I was told a refund would take place and be on my card momentarily. Although rather agitated, my friends and I continued our journey to view the R.L. Stine novel based movie. Since this theater is shitty, we were the only ones in the screening room, besides from Dawson Keim, who was inappropriately rowdy throughout the flick. We finished the movie with a rather bitter taste in our mouths, as Karlsville did not make a cameo. At least Mason and Carol got together in the end. As the movie ended, I checked my account to see if I was refunded and to my surprise I was not! As we waited for one of the workers to assist me, the manager came out, and she looked pist. She came up and asked my friend, Ricky, «what’s the problem, faggots?» We told her of our troubles and she spat in my face and said it takes multiple days for a refunding to occur. Adding fire to the flame, I shouted, «FIGHTME!» in a small sword-wielding, masked Kirby fashion. It became an all out brawl, and Stephen King was shot. We barely escaped in the Ford F-150, to the outskirts of ICD. Never more will I return, unless I don’t get my refund. Then that bitch manager has got what’s comin’ to her.

I haven’t written a review on this movie theater because they are average. They show movies, they charge the same price as their competitors, the teenagers that work there are nice enough, the theaters are clean, the bathrooms have even been clean 10% of the time. In fact, if I didn’t have an average problem that was escalated to ridiculously stupid levels by inept management, I would probably be writing them a decent review. They ran out of Diet Pepsi. Not a huge deal normally, but I had just bought a self serve soda for the price of a down payment on a house. I politely returned to the counter and informed the staff that they were out of the only diet beverage that they carried. My husband is diabetic and would have been comatose by the end of the movie if he would have gotten another option. The kid said, «Yeah, I know. Sorry.» I said, «Well if I would have known, I wouldn’t have purchased the soda.» She said, «Well, if you want you can talk to one of the managers.» It was at that time that the manager(another kid) walked by and I relayed the kid and my conversation. He said they offered tea which was a viable alternative to my beverage of choice, except that I didn’t want tea and popcorn. He them decided to attempt to dress me down for bringing a problem to the girl at the counter and told me the next time I had an issue, I was to take it to him. He argued with me over whether he would give me my money back!!! I got my refund and will see it in 7 days, I hope! Regal is nearby. They show the exact same movies at the same exorbitant prices and even have Coke instead of Pepsi. Go there and spend your money. I will from now on.
