Nothing fast about this NASTY food location. Drive thru has 2 ordering stations but for what? They couldn’t even handle 2 cars. Long wait. Horrible breakfast sandwich. Made me sick. Physically and emotionally.

Located in the rest area on Darien West Bound I-95 South. Higher prices, and a worker that gave me grief for not knowing what a Sundae was. Or, for that matter, not understanding that I didn’t see it on their menu… I saw a parfait and a cone. That’s it. Disappointing customer service. Food was the same as any McDonald’s.

This is the worst mcdonalds I have ever been to. They don’t even have McChicken on their menu! The guy at the drive thru is a pompous ass who was condescending to my friend. They didn’t even offer us sauce!!! The wait was too long. This is way overpriced!

The new McDonald’s is great! At the new rest stop on I 95. So nice to be able to pull off the turnpike and get some food. The drive through is convenient to get coffee and food without much delay. Glad it is open before winter.

Fast Food Prices are higher here due to the location in the rest stop on I-95 — so you really cannot complain about the cost if you are too lazy to exit the highway proper and look for something to eat. Cost aside I was able to secure my goods and be on my way in relatively short order– so kudos to them for that. Generally clean and a large waiting area. Parking in front.

The McDonald’s at the N/B Darien service area on I-95 is probably the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. They didn’t bother taking one of the McDonald’s coupons I had, even though it was valid in Fairfield County. The chicken sandwich I ordered was laden with enormous globs of mayonnaise that nearly drowned the chicken at times. The fries were horrific… tasted like stale cardboard that had been cooked hours earlier. Save yourself the trouble of stopping at a rest stop along I-95 unless you need to hit the restroom or pick up gas. You’re better off stopping at other places along some of the exits instead for food.

It is what it is. I wasn’t expecting spectacular food or service but for the chain, I’ve had better. We ordered 1 oatmeal and for some reason they thought we said 2 and charged us for the extra. The lines were pretty long and service was slow so we weren’t about to make a big stink out of it. But hey, it’s there and convenient. I thought their food looked the most appetizing out of all the choices at the stop.

It’s McDonald’s, it’s on I-95(not much in the way of alternatives) — what do you want?

I’ll give them 2 stars just for the customer service. My server was friendly and gave my daughter a happy meal toy that someone was exchanging in spite of the fact that we weren’t purchasing one ourselves. That’s all they’ll get because there’s no dollar menu and they are more expensive because they know they have you unless you want to get off the highway. They same double cheeseburger that costs me $ 1.29 at home cost me $ 2.29. My large diet coke cost me $ 2.39 regularly costs me $ 1.69. I guess it’s just a simple matter of supply and demand.
