Not bad, not bad. The food tastes average but definitely not bad. I like their pancakes, corned beef hash and egg benedicts. There’s not much to say about this place. It’s your average breakfast restaurant with your typical friendly staff. I would come here to satisfy my breakfast cravings close-by. They do have a nice little shop in the waiting area.

Well, Persy’s in Dartmouth has been a regular spot of ours for ages. Today was our last visit. We go so often because there is enough seating that there isn’t usually a wait and it is right near by. There are always little problems, burnt coffee, the pancakes aren’t very good, the service is usually lackluster but, TODAY. Ugh. Lemme tell ya. We go to a few places first and they all have a wait so we decide to go to our old standby. Oops. It’s October here in New England and the waitress tries to seat us in the little back room that is air conditioned, really? We get sat at a less freezing, incredibly sticky table. Boyfriend orders biscuits and gravy which comes with sausage, eggs, and two sides(home fries and toast for him.) and I order a Montana omelet with a cinnamon crumpet and a pancake(for the baby) and I order her a scrambled egg. We have to go get crayons and an extra place setting ourselves. Whatever. The food comes. My omelet was OK. The scrambled egg was wet to the point of being part raw, the pancake was cold and dry(when it came to us, not after letting it sit). The best part of all was the sausage and biscuits meal. It was a biscuit shaped like a muffin, cut in half with cold gloppy sausage gravy on it. The muffin/biscuit was inedibley dry. The other plate had eggs, toast, and home fries. No sausage. Boyfriend asks waitress, doesn’t this come with sausage? She apologizes, comes back with a side plate with two sausage patties on it. OK. We have ordered that particular plate a zillion times and it was always regular biscuits. He eats the eggs, sausage and toast. The baby eats a tenth of the pancake and I eat my omlete. The table next to us ordered the same biscuit meal. His comes with three sausage patties, and he didn’t have to ask for them. I get up to pay the bill and I tell the waitress at the register that it was incredibly disappointing and she notes that we come in all the time. She offered to pull the meal off the bill and I told her no, I was happy to pay for it. I just wanted her to know how bad it all was. She takes it upon her self to comp the entire bill. I thank her fifty times and tell her I’m sorry to be complaining. I leave a stellar tip for a mediocre waitress. It would be OK if the story ended there. I go back to the table and am putting my kiddos jacket on when the owner comes out and asks me what was wrong. I tell him. He tells us that the biscuits have always looked like that and disagrees with us. I tell him the pancake was terrible and offer him a bite, he is arguing with us that the food was just fine. Um, just apologize. I don’t need to argue with you for a half hour. Then, he un-comps the bill and takes the bad meal off of it instead and has us pay it. Seriously? I’d have been happy to pay it but, how do you look any pettier than that? Happy to pay that bill. I’ll never be back to eat your mediocre food with your poorly staffed dining room and your sticky tables. There are plenty of other places int eh world more than happy to take my money.

Love to come to Persy’s because of the big overwhelming menu that makes my decision harder and harder every time I come here! So I went with the Hash Bomb! HOLYSHIT! They aren’t kidding about the bomb part! They literally take a croissant and stuff it with hash and scramble eggs… Not a little smart portion either where you can two hand handle the sandwich, This thing was a huge tower STUFFED with a generous amount of hash and scrambled eggs!!! And this huge tower was dressed with cheese sauce all over it! The hash tasted amazing! Nothing like that canned stuff! This sure was fresh hash! I got a side of home fries, which are soooo good! And a side of a pancake(which was very bland and had no taste it really!) The waitresses were very quick and courteous! We didn’t have just one it seemed! There are a lot of comments about the corn bread, YEAH it’s that good!!! Try it! If you haven’t been to Persy’s, give them a try!!! It’s worth it!

Try the corn bread, breakfast was ok, big menu, but the real winner was the mini corn bread loafs that were given to us. Not sure if this is a common practice or because they were closing soon, but s women asked if we received corn bread? We said no and she came out with 2 mini loafs and said here you go. Same to the people behind us.

let me start by saying service is very good and friendly. the place has huge menu, lot to look at inside, all show and NO go. I wanted two eggs hash and home fries, sounds simple but they don’t do that hash had to be a side. so I went with hash omelet. when I tell this was the worst breakfast I have ever had that is an understatement. the omelet was cooked until every molecule of moisture was gone, the hash was mixed in with the eggs and also taste less and dry, toast cold, some home fries burnt others raw. my friends entire meal was cold. I go out to breakfast at least four times a week and do your self a favor don’t even try this place.

First and last visit for me. I was grossed out from the start, when I flipped over my coffee mug to find that it still had stains from its last use. Menu is vast, but nothing overly impressive. I had eggs, home fries and toast… all under cooked and not even hot when it came out. Not the worst I have had, but hardly good either.

I had the house specialty-Traditional Fish Cakes, non-deep fried, with 2scrambled eggs with cheese, hash browns with onions, and wheat bread. It was so good, the fish cakes didn’t have that grease feel to it, hash browns where good, can’t mess up eggs. They give you a lot. Would definitely come back again, and not to expensive for all that you get.

— the fish cake was very fishhy. and special — I like the veggie omelet. Plenty of veggies in it. — corned beef was decent too. During breakfast and lunch hour there might be a wait, but if you haven’t tried Persy’s. Go for it.

If I could goto Persy’s every Sunday morning for breakfast I’d be a happy gal. They just never disappoint. However we had to wait 30 minutes for our free ½lb loaf of corn bread cause our waitress forgot and never came back. The hostess noticed and gave us 2 free ones!(You get a coupon for free cornbread every time you come)

I’ve been to Percy’s Place before, but not in a few years. This location needs a bit of updating — sticky, wobbly booths, scratched dishes, etc. The menu is extreme. It is an intense breakfast experience with a full menu of egg, pancake, and waffle options. In addition, there is a lunch menu and a specials menu. It is too much. Overwhelming. The hot chocolate was great, probably the best I’ve had locally. Very rich and the whipped cream was thick and creamy. Maybe I shouldn’t have ordered huevos rancheros? I order it when ever I see it, and I feel that if you are bold enough to put it on your menu then you should have a good dish. This wasn’t so good. A large flour tortilla with some onions and bell peppers folded inside(present like), some bad grocery store salsa on top, two poached eggs, and a few slices of avocado. It came with black beans(an undrained can of goya in a bowl on the side) and a side order of my choice, toasted English muffin. On a cold and snowy day this wasn’t what I had in mind. Mix it together. Add more cheese. Chop the avocado. Maybe just drain the beans? Service is good. Food comes quickly. I’ll go back for sure but I will likely order an egg sandwich.

The menu was huge. My tastebuds were not impressed though. I thought the food tasted dull. I got a biscuits & gravy dish, big portion, not anything special. Better than IHOP maybe… and I am not an IHOP fan. It was kinda dirty in there too. Floors and booths needed a vacuum bad.

First thing, wipe your tables! I went in there today around 11am. First time in over ten years. The tables were super sticky! My elbows and placemat kept getting stuck. Food was ok. Not great. Not terrible. Average. Waitress left a lot to be desired. Never asked if we wanted a coffee refill. Never asked how our meal was. Just took our order, dropped off our food & then dropped the check off only a couple minutes after we started eating. Would I go back again? Maybe in another ten years. Nothing special. Large menu but most of it didn’t look very appetizing or healthy either. Décor is still the same too! Update it. Looks like the inside of a house decorated in 1993!
