Applebee’s

We usually enjoy a cheap decent meal at Applebees but tonight was different. The food and drinks were good, even our waitress wasn’t… Horrible. Our problem this time was with the hostess. After walking in the door we stood waiting while she was nowhere to be found. After she did arrive at the front it took another 5 mins to be seated. Not because they were busy not because there were other people in front of us. No it was simply because she apparently did not know how to do her job. Won’t be going to this Applebees again anytime soon.

I honestly can’t say anything bad about this place. Our waitress was wonderful and did a great job. It was her first day on the job and was great. I loved the food.

Me and my family went there at 340pm today. When we walked in, it was dead. The hostess sat us in a booth and said the server would be right over. Needless to say the server never came. She was actually 3 booths down eating, counting her money and talking to other servers.
We sat there for almost 10min without anyone coming to our table and pretty much everyone wouldn’t look our way, as if we were not their table. As they were all huddled around the table, we decided to get up and leave. Thats when they all realized nobody came to our table.
Not a good experience. No plans to return to Applebee’s anytime soon.

My wife and I are typically not fans of Applebees, because we don’t think the food overall is very good. But we do like the half price appetizers after 9pm. Beware of ordering the trio, however, because when the bill comes they will attempt to charge full price. I specifically asked if appetizers were half price, so if the trio wasn’t going to be included, that was the time for our server to mention it.
The manager on duty DID make it right for our table, after a bit of back and forth and unnecessary attitude. This is our first visit to this particular location, and when we explained that the other locations have always honored that deal, we were chastized and told «I’ve worked here for 18 years, and the trio has always been that way.» This location hasn’t been here 18 years, and this promotion certainly hasn’t existed that long, so how long you’ve worked here isn’t really important, unless you’re trying to use it prove how wrong you think we are.
Regardless, I appreciate the fact that the manager on duty made things right for us, but she might need to brush up on the customer relations side of it. Or don’t…your choice.

We were hungry after a meeting at the Dugout so we stopped in to grab a bite to eat. We were promptly seated Brittany and then told Ashley would be right with us. As 5 minutes went by we had not been greeted by anyone. 10 minutes went by and still no server to be found, just a girl vacuuming down the way. After 15 minutes of never being seen we chose to leave. I don’t understand why this happened. The restaurant wasn’t even half full. Very disappointed and will most likely not return to this Applebee’s again which is a shame considering it is in close proximity to where I live.

Our usual go to place. The wings could rival Buffalo Wild Wings. Never have to wait to be seated or get our order.
