Tried the salad bar for a quick dinner and was disappointed. It appeared as though the food bar had not been attended to in awhile; foods were drying out and meats not cooled (which I discovered at my first bite). Even the foods in the deli case needed to be mixed as the pasta salads were dried out and were not appealing.
Topping and non-​salad selections were nice.

This Hy-​Vee is near my office and has everything I need. It has a nice health food section and an expanded wine/​spirits department with a separate entrance if that’s all you need. The Chinese food counter is very good. I wish they made egg drop and hot/​sour soup.

I love shopping at this Hy-​Vee. I’m pretty sure there are others closer to my house but I don’t mind making a little extra trek for this location. It is always very clean, the lines aren’t too long and they have whatever I need in stock. I love the health food section too.
