The Hungry Hobo

I order all the time from this place. My favorite sandwich place of all time. I’ve never had a problem with them being slow or getting my order right. The price, I think, is reasonable. Not inexpensive. Reasonable. Plus they have the mobile app for your phone where you can place your order and pay and even select the location and time you want it at.
If I had to name a problem at all with this place, it eould be the staff. They don’t always come off as the brightest crayon in the box and aren’t always the most friendly or polite. Though, more times than not, they were great.

Oh the chilli. It hurts! Unless you plan to spend a few hours with the toilet I would suggest not eating here.

We moved to the area in December and have been going to this Hungry Hobo now since and a 2 is the best I can rate the quality of their sandwiches and customer service at this location since we started going there. They constantly mess up the orders and have witnessed numerous people bring orders back.
Tonight they again messed up the order and when I got home, I opened the wrapping up to a less than ideal sandwich. Didnt put the extra ingredients I asked on the sandwich, charged me the normal extra rate for 4 banana pepper slices, which was only on one half of the sandwich, didnt put it on wheat, and the guy taking my order was less social than a wall.
Needless to say Im done with this location.

This location is becoming notorious to me for
(1) Getting my order wrong
and
(2) Taking way longer than other sandwich shops in town.
…and after recently investigating the health stats on the sandwiches, the diner should be aware that the Combo #11 rates about as many fat grams as a Whopper with cheese. Just FYI… I had to research that, since Hungry Hobo is not kind enough to list their nutrition values on their website. And there’s also nowhere to send feedback on things like habitually getting home and finding out you got something entirely different than what you ordered. No, folks, a corned beef sandwich is not nearly as satisfying as the roast beef sandwich I ordered. It’s good, but it’s nowhere near the same.
