Bedding Barn

I called and asked what the hours were for today (Sunday) the man said 6:00 pm. I arrived at the davie location @ 5:30pm. The doors were locked, I saw a man coming from the back of the store, he opened the door and said what can I do for you? I said it’s 5:30 and your closed already, his answer was I start closing at 5:30. Ok. He lets me in the store and I said I’m looking for a queen sized mattress he points his finger and tells me they are over there. I thought that was rude. I walk over & see 5 in my size, I ask him, is there a sale going on? His reply check sale paper on Black Friday, ok now I’m really mad, I tell him that’s ok I’m on my way to mattress one down the street, he proceeds to tell me to be careful, make sure I’m not getting a mattress from china. Really, I was shocked. Needless to say I went to mattress one and bought my mattress and box spring, it is being delivered tomorrow…

This is my second mattress from Mattress Barn. The first was purchased in Palm Beach, but the great customer service and selection can be found at this Davie location as well.
This time around I was on the hunt for a natural twin mattress for a toddler bed. Since anything with «organic» or «natural» in the description means a hefty price increase, my budget was around $ 400. I tried Macys, City Furniture, and BJ’s and couldn’t find anything in my price range. Macys doesn’t even carry twin mattresses.
Lo and behold! Bedding Barn carries a great selection of twin mattresses, and I purchased a 100% cotton twin mattress (with metal springs of course) for $ 160. It’s double sided so I can lengthen the years it will be in use. I had money left over to purchase a waterproof fitted sheet for the mattress — made with eucalyptus fibers — and breathable, so great for the little one and the mattress, too. All in all, I spent less than $ 250 and came way under budget. More importantly, it’s a mattress I feel good about my child sleeping on since it’s the «old-​fashioned kind from when I was a kid» (per salesman), with no chemicals.

This store is awesome! They have great customer service and a great selection of beds. The approach is low pressure which is always a plus, they are knowledgeable, and if they don’t know something off hand they will call and find out the answer. Good honest pricing and sales, in today’s marketplace, that’s hard to come by. I would definitely buy from them again:)
