This is the best place to get chicken wings. Been going here for years. Gave them a 3 star review because of a waitress. What a bad waitress. Did not bring us silverware and when we asked for it got attitude and a look, so much bad service. I got the same look from her again when she rudely looked at her tip before we left table. She was not happy and did not say anything to me when I said thank you to her lol. I go there a lot and I’m sure to see her again. Its to bad mom and pop places hire such trash. This is the first time seeing her so she could get fired for being such a bwitch.

What a hidden gem the food is fresh flavorful cooked to perfection the portions are very generous the wait staff is superb nice atmosphere not too loud just a great place by the way the clams and oysters are as fresh and tasty as can be and the wings I can’t say enough about them

I’m a man of little words but I’m not happy… I ordered my food at 6:08 and had to call back at 8 asking where it was??? The manager I spoke with had a crape attitude and was no help! I will never deal with this place again… First Unilocal post ever by the way.

If you are in the mood for wings, you should definitely try Mineo’s. That’s usually all I order when I go there because they are that good.
The restaurant isn’t the prettiest, and the service isn’t always the best, but if you can look past those two things and know what to expect then I think you’ll find yourself satisfied.

The wings, clams, oysters, and bread were all good. Everything had good flavor and was fresh. The place was clean but there are definitely some cosmetic repairs that could be done. It must have been the midday lull when we were there because there were only a few people there. Overall, we were impressed with the food and service.

A month ago we moved to the area. Mineos is super close to our new house so we decided to try it. The place is not much to look at and could use a new coat of paint. The pizza is DELICIOUS! !!! The beer bared mushrooms are yummy as well. The menu is pretty complete, there’s something for everyone. Very affordable. We always end up sitting in Garrett’s section and we love it. He’s very nice and attentive. Definitely our new go to spot.

I’m a native so I’m very familiar with the original Mineo’s chicken wings and steamed clams from the 80’s, great memories! I found myself in the area and looking for a take out pizza. I had been disappointed with everyone we had tried in the area, so we reluctantly order from here. I thought they’re a wing place not a pizza place. I was so wrong. Dare I say I liked the pizza more than the wings and the garlic bread OMG. The pizza crust is nice and thin but not crunchy. The sauce is not to sweet. Just a great pizza! Well done, we will be ordering from here again

I’ve been eating here for years even as a kid. Their wings are great and they have good specials on a daily basis. They added pizza a few years ago and it is Awesome! The bar area is usually local regulars. The staff is like a family and have been mostly the same people for years. Family friendly place.

Ordered mozzarella sticks and small pizza for pick up. Said it would take 20 – 25 minutes. I went in 15 minutes and my order was ready. Sticks were awesome, the pizza was pretty average.

My fiancé and I were so happy to find a dive restaurant/​bar with quality food and vibe. We ordered NE Clam chowder, jalapeño poppers, chicken wings & baked ziti.
The soup and poppers we mediocre… But whatever… It was bar food. The wings were ok according to my fiancé, perhaps could have been cooked longer, he said they were kinda soggy. The ziti was good… A huge portion, and lots of ricotta cheese. We had so much food to take home and it was a super cheap bill, so we were happy.
Then the issue… A cockroach!!! If it wasn’t for the decent food, I would have given one star.
Stinks bc like I said, the place was decent with decent food and a super nice waitress.

Love their hot wings and pepperoni pizzas! I have been going there for over 10 years since it is right across the street from my house. I have had ups and downs with the service there– sometimes they have been rude and non attentive to out table even on slow days. but most of the times, the service has been average or better.
It has been the best wings I have enjoyed around the area, even better than most chains like hooters and wingstop. so definitely check this place out for the wings. I just hope you have a good experience with the service.

So a white guy, a black woman, their interracial child and a half-​Cuban walk into Mineo’s… Nothing happens. Went here with my family, and felt EXTREMELY uncomfortable, to put it lightly. The waitress had the attention span of a gnat and you would be lucky if you could get a question in. She payed great attention to the other tables and found it amusing when my very mixed family decided not to eat here, cracking a smile when we paid our drink tab and left. Concisely, if you are a minority, do not eat here unless you are prepared to be stared at as if you are from Planet X.

i use to love this place years ago but the quality has gone down hill. Last few times ive eaten there food wasn’t good, had pizza and chicken fingers. PIzza was soggy and fingers tasted like they have been frozen too long. Its a shame.

Great food and great prices plus the staff is friendly. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and my two girls shared the zitti. Food was great and the bartender was nice when most restaurant staff doesn’t like to see young children at the table. I will be back.

I love this place. I live in Huntington Beach, California.
My grandmother lives in Miami… Or at least she used to. (She passed away.)
Anyways, when I would go to visit her, this is the place we went to time and time again. If we are in for 14 days, we usually eat there about 8 times. The garlic chicken wings, spicy, are awesome. I dream about them. And the oysters are great. I talked to the owner and told him that I liked it so much, I would love to open one in SoCal. I’ve have sent many friends there and they’ too. Enjoyed it. If you can’t count on the delivery, don’t count on it. That would not deter me from going there.
GOD I MISS THIS PLACE!

It is far better to eat in than to order for delivery. Not only are you charged a delivery fee, but you are also charged a small fee for the boxes that the food is packed into for delivery. Additionally, I have had many issues when ordering. First of all, there is not always someone on staff to deliver. So you cannot count on Mineo’s as your go-​to delivery place. A couple of times I have called, and no delivery person. The other concern is how long it takes. I could go out to a farm and churn my own butter in the time that it has taken for my food to be delivered to me when there actually is a person available. In general, you are far better off ordering for pick-​up or dining in.
That said– in general the servers are friendly and attentive and the food is decent. I always order the beer battered mushrooms and wings. There is a full menu of pizza sandwiches and other very unhealthy delicious items as well as salads for those who are more health conscious.
