Hmm. Well, what can I say about this place besides the fact that I go to school here lol. The Health Professionals Division has a gorgeous marble structure on the outside with a very nice accent fountain in the lake out front. Once inside there is a large marble desk with security seated behind it. On both sides of the desk are memorabilia of medicine, pharmacy, dental, and other equipment used throughout history. To the right is the«one stop shop» where you can go for student IDs, financial aid, parking decals and much more. To the left of the security desk is cafeteria. The cafeteria needs a much needed update to say the least. Its small, with long benches similar to the ones I used to sit in during elementary school. The cafeteria itself is definitely not pleasing to the eye and very uncomfortable to sit in and have lunch. The hours are also terrible. They close as early as 3 pm on the weekdays and most students get out at 5 leaving us scrambling to get out of school to find food elsewhere before we study at the library. The building is lined with 2 halways that have large auditoriums on each side. The hallways and walls could use a little updating and maybe some wall art or inspirational qoutes or NSU pride pictures, I dont know… something to make the walk more pleasing and give students a little motivation throughout school. The auditoriums are nice, chairs are comfortable for the most part and the desks are at the perfect height for working on during class. The school requires that you have an ipad in most programs to take exams and most students have cell phones and also bring their laptops. Most auditoriums, however, do not have outlets to charge all these electronics! The library is small but nice. Comfortable chairs and desk are scattered throughout the library for your studying convenience. On the 2nd floor of the library is the student lounge. Here there are TVs, ping pong tables, pool tables, a foosball table, and microwaves to heat up your food. Its pretty nice, but definitely gets packed during lunch time. To the left of the library outside the long line of doors, walking about 50 feet outside to the right is a building called the Assembly night owl(bc they are open 24⁄7 during classes). They have about 25 study rooms that they recently updated with brand new chairs, tables, and rugs. They also have a computer room with about 36 computers, great if you needed to do work or watch your recorded lectures. I am in pharmacy school there, tuition is $ 32,500 a year for 4 years. You can do the math and see that that is a LOT of money thus trapping students in debt for 10 to 30 years after graduating. Now let me go think about how I am going to repay all that…

The HPD school is good fun. It’s a better building than the law school where I am. Pretty good snacks in the lobby too!
