I had a great stay here while visiting Davis. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and there was a good selection of complimentary breakfast foods each day. The location was a little bit of a walk from downtown and the UC campus, but not too bad. I liked that there was easy parking in the lot. The front desk was very welcoming, courteous and helpful, which made it a wonderful stay. Also, we left something in our rooms and they found it and even offered to mail it back at post office rates. I did get two bug bites while staying in town but we didn’t see any bugs on the bed as the other reviewers had, so I hope that it was unrelated and that we’re safe!

they have a worker who is a creep. He sent me inappropriate pictures while at work and claimed he owns the company… I will never go here and recommend if they have these types of people working here that you don’t either

I checked into this location about 11PM, after driving three hours to get there. When I checked in, I was asked if I wanted a room on the first, second, or third floor. I said it didn’t matter. I was assigned to room 112, right across from the elevator on the first floor. In the morning, starting at 7:30AM, there was a massive amount of noise coming from the elevator and breakfast areas. There was yelling, kids playing, and a whole lot of ambient noise. Sleeping, let alone getting some work done, was impossible. Also, when I had checked in, the cost of the room was to be put on the business card of the business I was there to visit. They asked for my card for incidentals when I checked in, and I gave it to them. My card was then charged for the whole cost of the room. I told them about the mistake, and the front desk clerk promised to fix it before morning. The next morning when I woke up(thanks to the massive amounts of noise) The bill under the door show they had charged my card for the whole thing. When I brought these issues to the attention of the front desk clerk, a bald man with glasses, I was told that the person who checked me and was«the new guy» and that they had to charge my card for the room, as they didn’t have the correct paperwork to charge the University. In response to my complaint of noise he said he was sorry, and though I told him I was leaving in just a few minutes, he offered to change my room. When I told him that would do no good, as I was leaving, he offered no other solution or compensation for the fact that my room had been unusable as of 7:30AM. I will recommend to the university that they not have guests stay at this hotel in the future. I much prefer the country inn and suites in Dixon.

Okay, There customer service was the worst. The bald guy with glasses was disrespectful, rude, and I felt a bit offended. He treated me and my group like if we were a lower class piece of trash. I will never stay at a holiday inn ever again.

We stayed here for two nights last weekend. We arrived in the early evening and check-in was a breeze. We got into our room, settled a bit and then went out to find dinner. When we returned and turned on the lights, there was a black bug crawling on the bed. I’m not sure what kind, but killed it and then called the front desk. Luckily they had another room with no bugs. I must say I was a little freaked out by this. Breakfast both mornings was okay. Sunday they struggled to keep things filled up. However, the selection was good. The beds were comfy. The bathroom water took a long time to get hot and then was sometimes intermittent with hot and cold water. The location was convenient off of the freeway. If in the area again, I would probably check out someplace else before returning.

We checked in around midnight or so because our flight got delayed from LB. INITIAL reaction was good; the lobby was brightly lit and clean. The double queen suite that we booked seemed clean as well. After we washed up and lay in bed, my sister discovered a small black thing scurry across her pillow case. Yes, a big bed bug. I took a picture of it and we looked it up online to verify that it was indeed a bedbug and not a cockroach. I called the front desk to let them know that we found a bug. They offered another identical room. We are very paranoid, but this place seems to be the only place available for the time being at 1:59 am. I didn’t get to speak with the manager, yet. I will have to update my review afterwards. So…sleepy…must…close…eyes… — — — — — — — — – Update: I emailed the manager, who was very courteous and professional, and he gave us a full refund. He took the time to verify and confirm in a timely manner. Thanks a lot, Adam! 2 stars for bug, 5 stars for customer service.
