I’ve been to Sirianni’s many times over the past twenty years or so, vacationing in Canaan Valley. It is classic down-home Italian cooking. One of the many small mom-and-pop restaurants in Davis and Thomas that are well worth a visit during your trip to Tucker County. They are cash/check only, but have an ATM on premises, so don’t be «that guy» who walks past multiple signs and still feels it necessary to ask the waitress if they take Visa.

Another awesome meal!!! A trip to Canaan isn’t complete without at least 1 meal here. Antipasto salad and a pizza makes the day!!! And don’t forget to entertain yourself with the messages under the table glass :)

Cozy yummy place — perfect for families after a day of skiing or tubing. Lots of selection but the pizza is to die for! Note the pin location is wrong on Unilocal. It’s on the main drag through Davis(William ave) at the corner of 5th street.

Took the family skiing at Canaan valley and got snowed in a blizzard, finally got plowed out and this place was open during the storm, the pizza was great and the Greek salad was awesome!

Rude servers. Mediocre food. Dirty tables. Place is a total dirty dump and the food is not nearly good enough to excuse this.

I really wanted to like this restaurant. It’s very charming inside — kitchy and homey. Very inviting and warm on a bitter night. We visited twice within the same week. On the first visit, we were asked to share a table with another family, which was a fun circumstance for all of us. We got along well and enjoyed the company. The Parmesan Wedges appetizer was good. By far, the best thing we ate during both visits. We followed up with the antipasto salad, which was fine. It had gobs of canned black olives and onions, along with nice greens, a few slices of pepperoni, carrot slices and a herby/cheesy dressing. It was quite a bit overdressed, but still tasty. Then we had the pizza. Wow, if this is the best pizza in WV, I’m kinda sad for the whole state. It was just on the border of «OK». The crust was crispy but odd — almost like they used cake flour. It was bread-like and not chewy at all. Througout our meal, service was pleasant, but spotty, at best. We chalked it up to a busy night and the server being overwhelmed. Desserts were all brought in — nothing homemade. Our companions were served STILLFROZEN chocolate pecan pie. On the second visit, we got the Parmesan Crisps again and the antipasto again. This time, the salad had no pepperoni. We then tried a pasta dish — Sal’s, I think? It was spaghetti with tomatoes, garlic, pinenuts and spinach, topped with cheese. I asked for«light garlic» and it was still plagued by huge chunks of raw garlic.(While they say this is authentic Italian, in all my meals in Italy, I’ve NEVER seen this kind of copious use of garlic. Raw just makes it even more egregious). The dish was overall very bland. The tomatoes looked canned, the spinach was nice and fresh, the portion was gargantuan and I just got tired of eating it long before I was full because it was boring.(I had scraped the cheese off because it was bitter). The garlic bread really is as bad as others have reported — white loaf bread(yes, like Wonder Bread) with dried parsley flakes? And for dessert? The table next to us was served STILLFROZEN peanut butter pie. It was almost comical. This time the service was more attentive, still not good, and it was less than pleasant. When asked about the style of the beer on the menu, we got«I don’t really know. Do you want it?» while tapping her pen. All in all, we will probably be back only because there are so few choices in the area. It’s «Meh» with a capital M.

Don’t be fooled by the rustic interior; this place gives out parsley on wonder-bread and calls it garlic bread(and its heavy on the garlic salt). In fact, if you’re getting anything other than pizza, you might walk away moderately disappointed. The pomodoro was listed as spicy, it was not. It was just oily noodles on a plate. Not even the pound of Parmesan cheese dusted on the top couldn’t salvage it. It’s a shame. It has a decent amount of stars but only get the pizza. Came back to edit. They only accept cash or check, and now my husband is out schlepping around trying to find an ATM while I wait here with the kids. The pomodoro, which was a plain plate of pasta was $ 15. That’s pretty overrated.

Perfect blend of fresh salads, delicious pizza and beer! Wait staff was attentive and sweet, décor was exactly what I would hope for in a small town… Kitchy but not dirty! I recommend if your in Davis and looking for a good meal, this is your place!

Davis, Local, WV Shop and Staff The store is a mom and pop shop inside and out. You drive past the store and see a bunch of decorations. They keep up with the current holiday season, so during this time of year they have a lot of Thanksgiving décor. The building has a ton of history. Anyone can tell just by looking at the building it probably was a house or still is, and maybe a few other types of businesses before a pizza parlor. The décor inside is overwhelming. Every inch of the walls inside the shop are covered with … items. In some ways it’s nice to look at all the very old Coca-Cola signs and in other ways it is too much. It looks like the owners ran out of room at their house and started putting all the other item’s inside the restaurant. If they were to stick with one theme… like Coca-Cola signs or pizza signs that would be nice, but they have: news paper, pizza Elmo, welcome to Davis signs, angel figurines, and so much more random items. Some of my family say this is a mountain town style. Antique store style. I don’t see it, but I’m sure other people do. The server Misty was very nice and professional. She made sure the drinks were kept full, and the food came out very fast. Food and Experience Once the garlic cheese appetizer came out not only did it taste good, but it was good. If you love garlic then this garlic and cheese appetizer is for you. The meat lovers, and veggie pizza was the topper. Everything from the crust to the toppings, and the sauce had that home cooking taste. The giant mugs they use for the soda are great! I can’t think of anything else to say except that I will be back to enjoy more of the home cooked pizza.

Hellbenders was closed so we decided to go here. The environment is nice. It has that authentic feel if an Italian eatery but the product doesn’t hold up to those same styled eateries that it reminded me of. I had the OMG pasta dinner and it wasn’t good at all. Dry pasta, and seemingly canned sauce. It was bland and cheap. However, my family had some pizza which I tasted and its was fairly good. The bread on the pizza was tasty. The highlight of the night was the lemon flavored cake. Delicious.

Always wanted to eat at this place bc of the crowds. However, the food was really not worth the wait. We put our name in at 6:20 and did note at until 9:00. Pizza was good — not out of this world. Basically, the food is just not worth the wait.

Our photography group visited here for dinner after a day of shooting in the rain. Pizzas with homemade crust and thick with toppings, fresh salads, and incredible pastas with homemade marinara. Pleasantly surprised that such great food is here right in the middle of town. Service was fast and efficient. Highly recommend if you are visiting Blackwater or Canaan Valley.

This place is a gem of Davis, WV. Stopped in for pizza and it was amazing, I ate a medium by myself! We also ran in quick for some hoagies after a morning of trails at Camp 70 road and they were the best Italian hoagies we’ve had in a long time. It has a unique décor but the staff is super friendly. If you’re around Davis you MUST stop here for lunch or dinner.

Neat little place with a small-town vibe. The pizza was great. The dough could be thin or thick, and customizations are accepted. The pasta was ok. I wish they had more variety of pastas. The aglio e olio(garlic and oil) sauce was very garlicky. I wish the garlic was chopped up a little more, and maybe toasted before adding the oil. Nice craft beer selection too!

Best little pizza joint I’ve ever eaten at, and my family eats a LOT of pizza. Stopped in for dinner on 4th of July, place was packed but the wait time was not bad. We ordered the specialty cheese pizza and a pepperoni/onion pie. Both were very good, and my husband who is not a fan of pizza that doesn’t have meat, LOVED the cheese pizza. He ate most of it ;) Highly recommend.

Definitely a potential favorite when we’re in the area! We had the Neapolitan pizza, which is basically a margherita pizza with spinach. It came out quickly and was soooooo delicious! The homemade crust was that perfect balance between crunchy on the edges and kind of chewy. The medium pizza was too much for my daughter and me, so… elevensies, FTW! Our meal cost about the same as if we went to a fast food place, but we got a fresh, delicious, homemade pizza! We will be back!

Stopped here on our way out of town after a weekend of skiing. It was exactly what we wanted, with great hoagies, pizza and garlic bread(basically pizza crust with cheese and garlic… So good!). Italian and meatball hoagies were great, and both pizzas were delicious.

This is, hands down, my favorite pizza… and I’ve had a lot of pizza. I’ve had pizza in New York City and it’s simply NOT as good. Sure, I have to drive 4 hours to get it, but if I’m driving 4 hours for pizza, it’s not going to be in New York. I don’t know how this place does it, but their pizza is always spot on. Everything from the crust to the sauce to the cheese is absolutely divine. I’ve never had a bad experience at Sirianni’s and I’ve been eating their pizza since I was a little kid. I highly recommend this place. Just remember to bring cash or your checkbook. They don’t do plastic.
