Yesterday, I ordered the new all-Ohio pizza. It was just okay. The sauce was totally bland and the crust tasted like cardboard. And, the pepperoni was not tangy like I would’ve expected. I had to add seasonings and put it on the grill to crisp up the crust to make it more eatable. Overall it was blah. If that is standard, I definitely won’t be ordering that again. Not sure I’d order again at all, quite frankly.

My family and I ordered from here on a rather bad night. I ordered online, the estimated time was 9:11 p. m when I put the order in at 7:20. after about 10 mins after the estimated time we called. They then tell us that our food is just now going into the oven. this is at 9:32. We canceled the order and decided to go with Cassano’s (which was here within the hour), after they tell us that our order will not be ready until 11:15. I love Donato’s pizza even if it is rather expensive, however this experience has deterred me an d my family from ordering here again.

I called after 75 minutes of waiting for my order, and the phone was answered with «we’re closed, how can I help you?». The location had their listed hours as closing 20 – 30 minutes from that time. I asked where my order was and the woman said the driver was on his way. 30 minutes later the driver showed up… with the wrong order. He absolutely reeked of marijuana, and asked what my address was. Then, he apologized and said he had another order in the car. It was my order, but the pizza was so undercooked and cold it was inedible. I expect quality from Donato’s, but next time I’ll get carry-out from another location or skip them all together.

I just ordered some delivery from Donatos on the advice of some colleagues because I was really craving a meatball sub. I went to their website and ordering was easy and quick after registering.
My sub showed up in about 10 minutes and was still piping hot. Like my co-workers said, the bread is really good, as are the meatballs. I would prefer a little more marinara though. I added green peppers and mushrooms (50 cents each) but unfortunately only got the green peppers. Food is good and quick delivery but minus one star for accuracy. I’ll give them another shot at some point.
