Gondolier Italian Restaurant & Pizza

Excellent service to compliment excellent food. Oh yeah, be sure to save some room for dessert — which is impressive!

It’s a matter of luck what you get. Some days the food and service is spot on. Other times… both can suck big time. This is the first restaurant I have walked out of in 20 years because of no service. Not slow service… no service.

I was not impressed. I thought little ceasars had better pizza. The pizza sauce they use on everything! & it’s very bland. Same sauces with like everything on the menu. Pretty pricey for what you get. They cover everything up with cheese, lots & lots of cheese!

Good food … if they make it right OR give you enough. They’re always cutting portions trying to save money I guess?

Better than I expected after reading other reviews/​word of mouth. Ordered take out and had the Alfredo and a individual small pizza. Plenty of food and will have leftovers tomorrow for lunch which is always nice. The side salad that came with the Alfredo was highly suspect. The lettuce wasn’t fresh and looked wilted. It also had red onions, cucumber and tomatoes. The cucumbers were probably the best part of salad. Maybe I just caught them on a bad night. I will say the ranch seemed to be house made and was pretty good, definitely better than average. Big menu with plenty of options – almost too many options but overall a good place from my experience tonight. Considering the location and other restaurants in Dayton, this is a place I’ll most likely be back to
very soon. Also somewhere I’d actually take visitors to. Only been here a few months but haven’t found many places like that in Dayton yet.

Staff all looked unhappy. The Alfredo was good however I only got 5 small pieces of shrimp in my shrimp Alfredo for $ 14. It was ridiculous. We will not be back not worth the price.
