i70 Paintball & Airsoft

It had been many years since I played paintball and decided to take advantage of a really good groupon deal (normal price for 2 would have been $ 80, with the groupon it was $ 39), pretty awesome! The building and facilities were just fine for what it is, I mean it’s a paintball field so it’s going to be dirty! The employees were all helpful and explained the rules, where to go, etc. The actual games were lots of fun, basically they had two people select players and then head to their respective sides. There were games of capture the flag, «aliens vs marines», survival, etc, all of them lots of fun! I didn’t give them five stars for two reasons, #1 there was a lot of trash laying around the area behind the netting, would have been nice to have them police it up every once in a while, really not a big deal though. #2 while we were playing one of the scenarios, one guy shot another guy at reall close range and they ended up getting into a fight (these were two guys probably in their 30s), instead of the refs/​employees breaking it up and ejecting both of them, they let it proceed. I was there with my step son and his friend, even though it made for some side entertainment, it’s not something that I cared for the kids to have to watch. One of the people in the fight did come over and say he was sorry for what happened and that was cool of him, but it should have been handled differently by the employees. Wouldn’t deter me from going back nor should it deter you, we still had a great time and the price was a real bargain, even at the full price of $ 40 it would have been worthwhile. So, if you’re looking for something different to do and don’t mind crawling around in the dirt, getting shot with paintballs, and want to get in touch with your inner Rambo, this might be just the thing for you!

Came here for my first paintball experience and loved it!!! The staff were very friendly and helpful– we even got a discount because it was Veteran’s Day (I was with a group of active duty/​prior enlisted). It was very nice of them! We played about 4 rounds, including one round of capture the flag and one round attempting to storm the fort (big building in the back of one of the courses). My only complaint was that there wasn’t separate areas of noobs (like us) and the pro kids. Seriously, we were using rented gear against people who spend several grand on equipment– how do you expect us to compete? Eventually my group and several kids went down and asked to use the smaller course by the building– the staff kindly allowed it (kudos for being awesome, again!). Much more fun playing in a smaller, more evenly matched group. Overall, great paintballing experience made possible by a great staff :)

This is it. For your one stop shop everything paintball and airsoft. Very kind staff and they know what they are talking about. Tim the owner is always involved with the daily operations, he is as avtive in helping in the pro shop as he is in the fields.

This place is a great place for an outing for yourself, family, group or work crew.
The Newport Funnybone Crew (of which I am a Bouncer) went up and played against Dayton Funnybone. It was a great place and well worth the money!!!
