I’m still disenchanted with the Dayton area Tim Horton’s stores. They all seem as though no one really cares. In the rest room, there was almost no soap, so how do the employees wash their hands before working? I got a smoked ham & cheese panini on multi-grain bread and it was made nicely. I was surprised when he asked if I wanted the whole sandwich. I thought maybe he wanted a snack. I guess I should have asked, as I seem to remember a soup and half sandwich deal. However, I suppose I wasn’t curious enough to know whether he was hungry or not. I think most every store delivers the sandwich differently. I’ve had it delivered on a plate without a wrapper, delivered on a plate with a wrapper, and this time, delivered on a tiny plate without a wrapper where a half sandwich would have been the correct size. Hey, maybe that’s why he asked if I only wanted half – because they didn’t have the china for a whole sandwich. Could they have a pile of dirty dishes in the back because no one ordered dish soap, either? In any case, the sandwich and drink were fine. $ 6.00+ isn’t horrible, and the multi-grain bread is worth it. What wasn’t worth it? The apparently off-the-clock employee dropping the f-bomb while on the phone in the corner. He even changed his call to speaker, so everyone could hear his business.
