Pretty huge place with stuff for anyone who loves the beach/water/beach style. Nice staff and well organized. I also really like the waterfall/lake in the middle of the store lol

On a long strip of tourist trap souvenir stores, Maui Nix was a welcome change. Clean, organized store, with a good variety of clothing. Huge selection of Toms — my favorite, so of course I had to pick up a pair. They also carry Ray Bans, Sanuks, Roxy, all kinds of fancy beachwear. And, there is a very pretty garden in the middle of the store.

Checking the surf gear! This is one of the bigger, and therefore more touristy, surf shops in Daytona. It is nice and has a wide selection of merchandise. They sell and rent boards, but renting is $ 35 a day and they require a $ 200 deposit. The most expensive place to rent a board in Daytona. The staff is friendly and willing to help. They are knowledgeable about the gear as well as surfing. They also keep track of the surf conditions at the moment as well as the future report, so be sure to ask before you rent a board. Overall not a bad place for a quick purchase, wax, stickers, etc. Surfers are notorious for shunning big surf shops in favor of smaller locally owned shops, so you will find a lot of vacationers here. I do try to drop in whenever I am in Daytona though. It’s worth a visit!
