i drives 25 miles just to have these professionals work on my car for everything from oil changes to engine work. they are honest, knowledgeable. and personable. are there cheaper places, i have no doubt. are there better places? no way…

Always pleased with their services. Generally nervous about getting my car looked at being a girl not knowing anything about cars, but they’re so nice and really not after your money or to scam you at all! I appreciate them looking at other things with the car instead of just doing a run of the mill oil change, they informed me that I needed to change other fluids next time I came in! Very well done.

The guys at McGee are great. I had an issue with my car that was just out of warranty. They assisted me in getting the manufacturer to cover it even when they could have charged me. Honest and trustworthy is hard to find in the auto repair business. You get that and more at McGee!

Great Customer service. Friendly and very quick. I will definitely recommend and I will be back for another oil change. They did not try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn’t need like most oil change place. They were very quick, professional. thanks

I went in to get an oil change from here about a month ago and the customer service could not have been better. Being a teacher, I don’t get home until about 5, and this is when everyone starts closing up shop. I came in, having called before arriving, toward the end of their regular business hours, and they actually made the effort to squeeze me in. I have been to other shops in the Daytona Beach/​Port Orange area and did not get anything near this level of effort.
I am also about to move across the country and spoke with them about checking out my car before I make the drive, what tips they have for such a drive, and the possibility of installing cruise control on my car. Not only did they answer all of my questions in a way I could understand, not being a car person, but they assured me that they could do just about anything that I needed at their shop.
The only complaint I have is they when I got in there they were a little bit chatty with the customer in front of me, and I had to wait for them to finish talking. However, this conversation was with someone who sounded like a regular; assuring me that people who come here tend to come back again and again.

During a spring break trip my alternator gave out on me. After another battery and two dead jumps, I finally got it to McGee in the pouring rain. Steven was friendly right from the start, wanting to get me home safe and quickly. When an alternator goes out it costs a pretty penny, no matter what. Steven knew that as well as I but he made the best of with friendly speedy service, a student discount, and a couple jokes in between.
I would recommend McGee Tire Store of Daytona Beach to anyone that needs their automobile looked at, especially for a new alternator.
