Came in on 1÷25÷16, server was attentive, kept our biscuit baskets aplenty, but the food order took forever. It was a monday, the place was not busy, but clearly they were having issues in the kitchen. Food was fine, but the fish portion and rice on my tacos was small. See posted picture.

Although they tend to be slow and rude sometimes, The food is good! Love the shrimp Alfredo and Caesar salad! And of course, their delicious bread

I honestly don’t know why we keep going back, other than for things like Endless Shrimp. We were told our wait was going to be 10 minutes, it was more like 20, and when we sat down, we noticed how not-busy it was. Décor is managed by corporate so I can’t judge it cause every single one looks as drab as the next one. The service is/was mediocre at best. For this particular experience, the one thing worth noting is that they keep running out of cheddar biscuits and that they have to make more. OK, I understand we didn’t go during dinner rush, but there really should be warm biscuits available at all times while the restaurant is open. It costs them next to nothing to make, and you would have to be pretty dense to work there and not know the biscuits is really the reason people keep going back, hence the Red Lobster brand biscuit mix you can buy at the stores. Aside from this biscuit thing, I did enjoy my 4 course meal. I had the shrimp and scallop alfredo, clam chowder(not impressed — overly salty and pasty), Caesar(can’t screw it up), and sadly, the highlight was the dessert Triple-Chocolate Brownie à la Mode. That, was amazing! Still, I wish there was another Red Lobster to go to. But I understand, everything is decided by corporate, including training its staff to provide mediocre service.

One star for the cheddar bay biscuits. I have no idea how they get away with charging as much as they do for such mediocre food and bad service. Take your money and go to a real seafood restaurant. Red Lobster has gone way downhill.

Good service and good food! When we first walked in we were greeted and seated. Then we were told of the specials and ask what we wanted to drink. The food and drinks came in a timely manner followed by the manager who walked around and ask how we were enjoying our food. Good service and good food equals good tip and good reviews!

Everytime I come to red lobster it’s only for the endless shrimp. Every single time its an awesome experience! I got the garlic shrimp scampi, parmesan shrimp scampi, the new Sirancia grilled shrimp. All three were delicious, and I got 3 more rounds of all three shrimp trays. Definitely a go to place when they are having their special endless shrimp for 15.99 which excludes a salad and a choice of any side! You won’t be disappointed!

This was a pretty nice experience for a chain restaurant. The service was good, food was good. No real issues to complain about. We ended up here because Scotty Simpsons didn’t open until 2 p.m. and we were hungry.

I’ve been to this Red Lobster a dozen times. It’s always been an experience between mediocre and good. The cheddar biscuits are amazing, the salads are passable, and the seafood isn’t bad for the price. But I have an imaginary scale. One being a certain fast food seafood restaurant that I would give a long«silver» star. Ten being a really large(big) fish restaurant in Dearborn. This Red Lobster has the décor and service closer to one, and prices very close to ten. It’s hard to justify coming here unless they have one of their amazing all-you-can-eat deals going on. I recently tried to visit there because I heard the chain posted less than stellar financial numbers and might be in trouble. Since I have had some good meals there in the past, I thought I’d give them another shot. The hostess was downright surly, the waiting room felt like a cage match, and the restrooms smelled. I walked out without even being seated. Best of luck to this place, but my hopes for improvement are significantly dashed.

Not a big fan of sea food, but this place is alright. Their food could use some actual flavor rather than smothering everything in butter and oil. I love the décor thou, wooden and dimmed lighting is my favorite.

I printed a $ 10 off coupon for Red Lobster and went for dinner on Thursday with my husband. I don’t eat seafood, so I went for their Cajun chicken linguine, minus the Cajun spice. The Cajun spice was on my meal when it was served, so I asked for them to re-make it. The server said it’d be a few minutes, which I said was fine. I didn’t get my meal until 20 minutes after I sent it back. Seriously, it’s just diced chicken, linguine and Alfredo sauce, so I was extremely peeved that it took so long to come back out to me. The worst part is that the server came by a couple times assuring me it’d «only be a couple more minutes.» but obviously she was just trying to pacify me. I watched my husband awkwardly eat his food while I waited the whole time for mine. Luckily, I didn’t need to use my coupon because the manager comped both of our meals for ruining our dinner. It would have been cheaper for them to simply make it right the first time. When I finally got my food, it was so salty I couldn’t stomach it and I really just wanted to leave because I was so pissed. What a waste of food. I wouldn’t go back to any Red Lobster… They need to be more considerate of people who don’t eat seafood and offer more than two chicken options on the menu. I know we’re not the only couple where one person loves seafood and the other doesn’t.

In general I like Red Lobster. But this particular location always over cooks the lobster, serves cold crab legs and is just all around icky. The Livonia location on Plymouth Road does it right and this location should take a lesson.

Making reservation doesn’t even matter at Red Lobster. It’s actually normally for you to be waiting for a seat and even longer when you have a party greater than 2… Yes I said«2». When we first enter… The greeter of course greets you(which this did happen), take your name, and hand you a device which buzz when your table is ready. Unfortunately when I arrived… I was seating with a group of 12 people, so yes our wait was much longer. The manager did get a booth back to back and we also grab another near 4 seater booth. Just because the large booths seat for 6 people but when the food would have came then we wouldn’t have enough room for our plates. The food was great and drinks were strong… Yummy long island ice-tea which was only $ 5.75. Our server was a little slow but she didn’t get our order wrong, so I guess she did OK. Please note — if you are in a large group, then make sure you a split up because their tipping fee is 20%.(The server actually didn’t mean not getting the 20% because separatly she cashed in more from each individual person.)
