Dr Woda is such a cool guy, and his office girls are pretty nice too. He has traction machines– you lay on a bed and a roller goes all up and down your back. You can control whether you want heat or not too. You usually lay on that for like 10 – 15 mins. It feels so good! Then one of the girls will take you into a room and run a big«thumper» thing on your back for a min or two.(Obviously I don’t know the technical names for these things!) Dr Woda then comes in and finds out what’s been bothering you, and in addition to the usual adjustment he will focus on that area. Whenever my neck is real bad he will rub it down with that freeze stuff and work the kinks out of it for me. No need for appts, they have walk-ins from 9−1pm and then re-open from 3−7pm. They are open 4 days a week, but I can’t remember which day they are closed during the week. When in doubt, call. I have rarely had to wait to go back too, they can usual take you right to one of the traction machines as soon as you walk in. I believe they take most insurance policies, and if not I can almost guarantee that they’d be willing to work with you. Dr. Woda has saved me from constant back aches– I run out to see him whenever things start to act up and he fixes me right up. I am so glad I found him :) Oh– I don’t think they do X-rays or handle serious back injuries. If that is the case for you be sure to inquire first.
