Ok, so I’m a loyal Payal customer at 21 InStyle Beauty in my neck of the woods in Gwinnett County. I had to recently search for an alternative place to get my eyebrows done since Payal is on maternity leave. I am very particular about my eyebrows and once I find someone who knows how to clean up and shape my eyebrows to my standards and liking, I stick with them like bees to honey! With Payal out, I was worried about where I could go for the 3 months she would be away. I fortunately, thanks to lovely and awesome Unilocal!,found DC Beauty Salon, with lots of good reviews, and decided to take a chance. I went there and not knowing who to ask for just took a chance with the first available person who was able to see me and thread my eyebrows. That person was Rushmi, and well, I am so grateful that I lucked out with her! She is quiet, sweet, and very good at what she does. I told her what I wanted to do with my eyebrows and she listened and then did exactly what I asked for, amazing for a first experience. She is fast too. Usually threading hurts, but with Rashmi, her touch is very light, and the pain is minimal. The price she charges is ridiculous, at a steal of $ 4! There are quite a few spots in the area that do threading, if you are looking for quality, consistency, and affordability, this place delivers on all three!

I went back about a week ago and had an AMAZING experience! Did both underarm waxing and threading again, and the threading was absolutely perfect. Every hair was perfect. Excited to return a third time in a few more weeks!

I’ve only ever had threading done here so I can’t speak to any of their other services. The threading is great! I’m usually nervous to try new places/have different people do my eyebrows. I’ve had three different women do them here and they’ve all been consistently great. They’re fast, don’t hurt, and will actually listen to what you ask for. I prefer this place to the one next door to it. I just feel more comfortable and relaxed here. And I think the women working are nicer!

I walked into this salon with a unibrow and two months of brow rehab — and I walked out with flawless brows! Very quick and professional service for a price that is far too reasonable! Thanks to the girls who made me feel fabulous today!

don’t go there for a facial. it’s not relaxing. the door is cracked open. they use tissue to cover the beds. the lady that did mine advised me to get up and wash my face. i’ve never had a facial where i was told or advised to get up and wash my face… wait oh yes i have at another indian salon– ruby’s. basically don’t go to any indian places for a facial. not worth it. they do a quick, good job for eyebrows

I have been coming here for past 1 yr for my eyebrows. They do a great job of threading my eyebrows. Very quick and cheap. I am in and out in about 10 mins. Finding parking on weekends is hard. I prefer going on weekdays.

This is the worst place ever to go for a bikini wax. I don’t cry easily, but I left in tears. Needless to say, I’ll never go here again and will encourage others to do the same.

What you see is what you get. Great eyebrow threading, no nonsense, fuss free beauticians. I have become a regular here.

Who knew that you could find a threading salon in Atlanta with prices reminiscent of my time spent in India? No frills, no fuss, no problem! What you see is what you get and that is A-OK by me. Located next to Patel Bros in Patel Plaza on Church Street, you can get your eyebrows threaded before chowing down at a nearby restaurant or, if you’re like me, stocking up on green chilies! My longest wait here, no matter how busy, is less than 2 minutes and when you hear those magic words, «4 dollars,» once you are finished, you can’t help but grin from ear-to-ear! Good results combined with close proximity to my workplace make this a winning situation for me! Thanks, DC, for giving me a good look at an unbeatable price.

Whoaa! I read the reviews and came here for the eyebrows and found my new place! At only $ 5, my brows look beautiful and perfect. This costs me $ 15 at other places. Thanks Unilocal!I always get compliments on them!

Originally I went to Hair Images, but started going to DC’s Nail N Beauty based on a friend’s recommendation. As a person of Indian origin, and have been to many salons to get threaded, this is one of the best salon’s in Atlanta. For $ 4, this is a great deal. Karima, the owner of the salon, is the person who threads my eyebrows. She is very polite, and a savvy business woman. She knows her regular customers by name and she will accommodate to your schedule if you arrive late and she is leaving for the day. They do promote their services when you are new customer, however, they stop doing that on your second visit and only provide the service that you ask for. I have recently moved from Atlanta and am finding out just how much people are charging in New England. I miss DC’s and Karima.

This is my go to place for threading. I happened upon them several years ago when I relocated to the area. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff is great. I’ve since moved out of the area but still make my way to DC Nails whenever I need threading done. It is worth the trip to have quality work done.

I never had my eyebrows threaded before and decided to go with this place since it was close to my apartment, cheap and I read good reviews on Unilocal. I walk in, it’s very informal and I am promptly seated. The lady looked at the hair on my arm and stated that I have light hair and I agree with her. Then she proceeds with the threading. I never knew that you heard the threads as they worked. This was a little unnerving, but kind of cool in a beauty scientist kind of way. I thought it would hurt as much as waxing but I have never felt anything like this before so it hurt as much as the first time I got waxed. It’s always kind of painful when your hair is forcibly removed from your skin. She threaded and trimmed my eyebrows and there is a .50 charge to use a card, but whatevs. So when I get in my car I take a serious look at my brows. There is a little blood, but with my skin, and waxing/threading that is normal. She had missed a few of the hairs under the brows, which come on… Also the brows were a little too close together. All in all it was worth it for the $ 4 but I just need to realize I will have to do some touch ups when I get home

Since this was the place my friends recommended for eyebrow threading, I came with high expectations. The first time I tried to come here I accidentally went to Natural Identity right next door( ). So this week I came to DC after work. The store was pretty quiet– there were 3 – 4 ladies working. I sat down and immediately the woman that was threading my eyebrows started to promote their other services. Now I know that the economy’s bad, and I know you gotta promote your services. But as a customer, I HATEIT when beauty/health workers ONLY push their services when they’re working on me(be it a hair salon, nail salon, or an eyebrow place). So this woman that’s working on my brows not only promote once, but twice their facial(oh, you get the threading free if you get the facial). I don’t care, I don’t have time today. Then she offers to thread my lip. I know I’ve got some hair on my upper lip, but I just like to bleach it at home, thankyouverymuch. So all in all, she tried to sell me other services 3 times in a span of less than 10 minutes. Sure, the threading was good. But I just didn’t appreciate that kind of customer service when the only thing you want is more money out of your customer(especially as a first-time customer). In conclusion, I think I’ll go next door again for threading at Natural Identity. At least they can carry on a conversation with the customer.

By far best place in Atlanta for threading. It’s in a very unassuming shop, but the ladies that work there are the best. It’s very affordable and they are pretty consistent with the quality. Sad to have moved farther away recently, but worth the hike.

I agree with the other posters… Good service and price for threading. I have had Karimah and another lady whose name I have forgotten. They are friendly and discuss what you would like done with your eyebrows.

I thought I had hit the jackpot when I discovered(thanks to Unilocal) Hair Images. $ 7 for eyebrow threading, what a steal. Little did I know their was a much better place 5 minutes away… DC Nail’s is a tiny little shop in a plaza off of Church St. Pay only $ 4 to get your eyebrows threaded. The ladies who work there are warm and friendly and chat with you as they work, making sure your eyebrows are just the way you like them. Great service, short wait and dirt cheap prices — what more could you ask for?

My sister has been going here for years, but I always hated threading… looked too painful. A recent trip to India made me conquer my fear and now I love it. So, I went here yesterday afternoon as a walk-in. They only charge $ 4 for eyebrows, which is insanely cheap. They saw me within like 15 mins, and the ladies are extremely nice. You can tell the clients are regulars because the ladies really seem to know them. This place is tucked away next to the Indian grocery, Patel Brothers, and behind Zyka, but the service is quality and the price is phenomenal. I highly recommend it!
