Always warm and pure yum. You can tell they love food and really giving you a full plate. My fav: meatloaf and green beans(and cherry cobbler). But honestly, they have so much more — and it’s all so very good.

Had lunch with my male BFF. Great food, great prices. Baked chicken was golden brown and juicy, field peas, mashed potatoes, steamed cabbage. The meatloaf was huge and moist. I had the country gravy. Customer service is always nice and friendly. Went at lunch time and believe it or not we quickly found a place to sit.

This place is still on the menu for lunch when i want certain home cooked vegetables. They have updated their menu to offer smaller sized portions too which is perfect serving size od this kind of food.

Collards are slamming baby! You’ve gotta have the jalapeño corn bread, well maybe two of them. I think they use just the right amount of vinegar so you can almost taste it but it subtle enough that it blends right in. I was in the mood for veggies and hadn’t been here for years even though I live not to far away. I read that they remodeled after a fire a couple of years ago and it looks much more open now. Sort of the place where if you go often enough they know what you want. I didn’t try any of the meats, but they did look good, but I’m not much of meatloaf, but the baked chicken looked good. They have different veggies and meats each day. I had collards, cabbage cooked just right not mushy with just enough spring in them, black eyed peas that were not mushy and broccoli that was bright green from just the right amount of steam. Décor is typical diner but the folks are really nice. Now this is southern cooking and not soul food, but very good all the same.

The food is pretty good home cooked fare. The facility is quiet as a mausoleum and the décor will certainly not lift your mood. But if you’re looking for quick and decent cafeteria food in an environment that has somewhat of a nursing home feel, this is a good option.

They always have great fresh food and large helpings for a great price. If you want somewhere to sit down and have a hearty meal with family or friends then stop in and dive in to some great food. They serve different main dishes through the week so it is good to go a few days to see the variety or just ask them. They have great fresh brewed sweet tea to go with the meal! The desserts are pretty awesome too. One of the things that I really like is you can see them prepping and making the food right in front of you. This is real cooked food not prep and shipped for mass heating and selling. The sizes or the sides and main dishes are large as well so be ready to take home some leftovers.

Do you wish grandma would cook a down-home southern meal for you? Our Way is there to help you out. Meat & veg lunch counter. No butter will be spared. The creamed corn is the richest you’ll ever taste. I’m a fan of their pulled pork — especially if it’s pulled pork bbq.

Fantastic southern food from fried chicken to meatloaf. You can’t go wrong with any of the sides, however, I have a special affinity for the cornbread and the mac ‘n cheese.

Being a Georgia girl, I love southern food. And this, is southern food. Good southern food. The kind your great-grandmother makes from scratch in her tiny kitchen. Thank goodness we live super close to our way café. They have been a lifesaver for us during a few hangry occasions. They never disappoint. And the staff is super nice and friendly. Things we’ve had and loved: –meatloaf –pot roast –baked chicken –mac and cheese –collards –green beans –creamed corn –sweet potato soufflé –broccoli casserole –lemonade –sweet tea –peach cobbler –carrot cake This place has the best collards too. And that is something that’s hard to find. Mix some mac and cheese in with the collards and add a ton of hot sauce… the best.

I recently moved to the area and gave this place a whirl. It was surprisingly delicious and their portions are perfect! The collards are amazing and their homemade mashed potatoes were creamy and very well seasoned. Everyone was very nice and I will definitely be back!

Basic bare bones cafeteria style place with above average food. Theres never any waiting and you can see everything which I like to make your choices. Newer pricing since my last visit. All main dishes are $ 4.00 sides $ 2.75, desserts $ 3.50. It is a la carte, you pay for each item separately. One the board they list Main +2 Main + 3, etc… but its just the total of each item separately added up. Not any special deal. ½ orders of sides for $ 1.50. Menu items change by the day of the week. Check the website. They serve Sunday brunch now too. Vegetable are very tasty. It sort of all feels like going to Grandmas. If you want good, easy, and no wait food, this is a good option. Usually enough parking out front for easy access. This is good for going solo, or casual visit with a friend. I wouldn’t call it suitable for date night.

A wonderful meat and three place! I had the meatloaf with mac-and-cheese, mashed potatoes, and black eyed peas with a piece of spicy corn bread. The meatloaf was really good. Nice a juicy and seasoned really well. All of the sides were really good. The mac-and-cheese was the best. I like my mashed potatoes on the denser side but these were thinner than I really like. With that said they tasted fine. The spicy corn bread was wonderful. The spice added a nice touch of heat but left you knowing that the base corn bread was wonderful too. Overall I was really happy. This is cooking like momma so it can be hard to live up to and they do.

This place doesn’t look good but the food I had sure was good. I had the chicken(dark meat) and creamed spinach. YUMYUM! Can’t say anymore about it, except that it delivered more than I expected.

I so want to give Our Way Café 5 stars. I’ve been trying to find a place like this in Atlanta for years. When Mary Mac’s discontinued their take out buffet in the 80’s, I was bummed. Our Way replaces Mary Mac’s take out. In my opinion, the food is nearly perfect. The very sweet server told me that only one of the vegetable items contained a meat product. There are a ton of delicious vegetarian options, so I was in heaven. I had artichoke/spinach casserole, field peas and creamed spinach. Everything was delicious. Mom had garlic pepper chicken, butter peas, collard greens and cornbread. I tried her veggies. I didn’t like the collard greens. I hate vinegar and sugar in my greens. It was the only thing I didn’t like. This place could use a good scrubbing. The inspection rating is in the low 80′‘s :{ The bathroom was dirty and outdated. Still, the food is SOOOOO good. I will definitely return.

I brought one of my best friends here for lunch on a Friday afternoon so she can give it a try, since she’s a big fan of country/southern food. Our Way Café is more of a cafeteria style restaurant with various dishes served on a particular day. Prices from what I can remember are $ 3 for an entrée and $ 2 something for sides and I believe $ 2.79 for premium sides. Desserts are around $ 2.50. I can’t recollect how much drinks are, but sweet tea and water are self –refill. My last time here was actually quite a few years back, so some new things I noticed was that they now have a fridge with various soft drinks. I do remember that sunday afternoon’s are packed with long lines. But it’s worth it to take home and eat. Come hungry, because the portions are also HUGE! Food: My friend and I both wanted to try the Chicken enchilada, as the meat loaf, salmon loaf, and oven chicken wasn’t appealing to my inner foodie that day. Also, we’re big fans of tex mex. This must be a new menu item, as I don’t recall them ever serving this before. We also got the green bean casserole as a premium side, while I picked up another side of mashed potatoes. Our bread of choice were cornbread. We also split a apple cobbler. * Chicken enchilada, was pretty good, though the middle of the enchilada was kind of dry. The sauce could also be a little thicker. Portion size, this has a lot of shredded chicken stuffed inside. We barely finished ours. I would just ask for more sauce, you’ll need it once you get done halfway. * Green bean casserole; it’s always worth the trip and getting this as a side. It’s just that good. A nice balance of sauce, bread crumbs, and moist green beans. Seems, they added chest nuts into the casserole. It plays well with the dish, and adds some contrast on the texture with some«crispiness». Definitely worth a try. * Smashed potatoes; first bite and you know for sure this is more of a homemade recipe. All though, the dish could use more seasoning I believe that it’s probably left to the customer to season with salt and pepper. Thick with partial potato skins. It’s decent but not as good as the green bean casserole. I would go with another veggie side unless there’s nothing else that pleases the eye. * Cornbread; a pretty big size cut, cooked just right where it’s still moist. Hint of sweetness. I haven’t ever tried the rolls, cause I always pick this instead. Just remember that the butter is near the sweet tea and water station. * Apple Cobbler. All I can say is, «yes please, can I have some more?» The apples are perfectly seasoned and cooked where it’s tender but still crisp. Slight sweetness without being rich. The crust has a very good texture of almost, slightly under baked so that it’s moist. Semi sweet so that it adds some contrast in taste to the apples. Yet blends in very well on each bite. A must try. Overall: If you’re looking for some good old fashioned, southern favorites with a home made appeal, look no further if you’re in the area. Just remember to bring cash. Bank of America also has an atm in the parking lot.
