In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Decatur. Everytime I eat here, my food is always prepared quickly and correctly. The servers are friendly and courteous, not to mention efficient. Never once had an issue. Décor is great especially in the winter with the fireplace in the middle of the restaurant.

Best burger my husband has had in a long time, the bacon and bleu. The Reuben I had was very good. good My mom, dad and sister split a burger and an appetizer platter for their meal with chicken livers (tasty for them) potato skins and onion rings. All very good. Not fancy a place but clean. Reasonably priced as well. Rest of the menu is creatively a couple steps above typical pub grub. The place has been around for 40 plus years. Has a neat round fireplace in the middle and a beer garden out back (too hot to take advantage of today). No trouble getting a lunch table on a Thursday… however my mom says can be up to 1 hour wait weekend evenings. Service was friendly and efficient.

Love the Wharf! Relaxing place to go and sit, drink a little, eat dinner, and not feel rushed to get out the door. My absolute favorite is their patty melt with an ice cold Miller Lite.

Absolutely wonderful food. Every time I have every here the food has been excellently prepared. My absolute favorite is the fried mushrooms with ranch dressing. You really need to try those. Tonight I had the lemon pepper tilapia with a baked potato and a Caesar salad. Everything tasted delicious. Everyone else in my table is very happy with their food also. Love coming here. cannot recommend it enough.

Definitely upgraded quality and environment over last few years. Real fun place, great bar food — wharf burger, other sandwiches, dinners like catfish, talapia– but the appetizers are what sets it apart. Mushrooms, cauliflower, and chicken livers are especially good. Small, but quality beer selection on draft. Not fine dining, but fun dining atmosphere, friendly staff, good food, very reasonable prices

Looks like a dump… but excellent service and very yummy bar food. Awesome selection of different types of fries. When you order a tall vodka soda, please be advised it will come in a very large glass. Enjoy.
