Great teachers and great owner!

I have all three of my kids taking private lessons at Band-​gig. My oldest studies guitar with Nick, middle son drums with Martin and now my youngest daughter is learning piano with Michael. If referral is the ultimate compliment, I have also referred friends to this wonderful program. The instructors are great with teaching kids; mine love coming to their weekly lessons and even more — the live performances that take place once or twice a year. We have been associated with Nick and the school for about 7 years and have only praise. I highly recommend Band-​gig to anyone considering music lessons.

My husband and I have two girls taking lessons at Band-​Gig, Norwood. Our oldest (12 yrs) started guitar with Patrick last year and WOW! I credit Patrick for great teaching, his passion for music shines through him to her. Much to our surprise she even played at an open mic night that Band-​Gig hosted. recently. Our youngest begin taking piano lessons this year with Michael and we are thrilled at her progress already. These teachers are a perfect fit for each of the personalities of our girls.
I give Band-​Gig rave reviews and recommend them to friends. The teachers are fantastic with kids, excellent teachers and great musicians. Our girls have a passion for music and practice without prompting. THANKS Band-​Gig, Patrick, and Michael. Nick, you have fantastic teachers!

I have two boys in the program and both have picked up so much so quickly! Their teachers, Pat and Martin, are well informed and amazing musicians in their own right. We are now in our third or fourth year with Nick’s group.
One of the biggest advantages of Nick’s program is that the kids are not only picking up basic music skills, which they will enjoy for the rest of their lives, but they are learning about how to perform with other people. That was a skill that I had never been taught when I was taking lessons. Both Pat and Martin have a teaching style that I wish my old teachers had. My kids enjoy practicing and it is never a fight to get it done.
Another great perk of Band-​Gig is that they put on student concerts a number of time per year in a local venue, with the proceeds going to a local charity. It has always been a well attended event and you get to hear lots of talented people doing what they love.

I go to the one in Norwood, Ma and my teacher is Pat and he got my playing music on my guitar in almost no time he is a very good teacher.
