Talbots

Went into talbots to purchase some outfits and while trying on items I had my husband wait outside of the entrance to the dressing room area so I could pop out and show him what I was trying on. An employee was bringing an older woman into the dressing room and asked my husband to leave the area. After entering the dressing room she then went on to talk about my husband to the older customer and even had the nerve to say, «you never know these days.» Once I heard that I left the dressing room and she followed me out apologizing but said that my husband standing in the store near where the dressing room was made «older clientele» uncomfortable. I feel like there was no reason to discriminate against my husband as he was just standing outside of the dressing room area to give me a second opinion on the outfits. We do this often in many other stores and he has never been treated like this before. We left and did not purchase anything.

I love this store. The customer service is always fantastic and they remember their customers and treat them well. Clothes aren’t cheap full price but they always have some sale going on and the clothes are just beautiful! I spend way too much time in this store :)
