Excelente comida e increíble servicio. El lomo machu pichu es delicioso. Me encanto el flan de caramelo y la panadería fresca es espectacular. Sus dueños son muy amables y su personal muy atento, siempre dispuestos a ayudarnos. Ojalá estuvieran abiertos las 24 horas!!! Lo recomiendo 100%!

Disappointing; The portions a big, yes, but they only look big because they give you an exaggerated amount of frozen vegetables. My friend ordered steak and it was small and stale. Won’t ever come back to this place. Latinos and el Balcon have better food than this place.

Great find! My brother and I stumbled upon this place on our way to the TMobile store next door. The décor is fresh and our server was very friendly. I really appreciated the menu because of its «fusion» quality.
I ordered Tostones with Guacamole. Tostones is more of a Caribbean side dish, and Guac is more of a Mexican one. I love them both, so having them together was great! I also ordered a Batido (fruit shake)… can’t remember what flavor but I remember thinking it was quite good.
I supposed my only small complaint, if I can even call it that, is that what I really wanted to drink was their Coconut Lemonade, but they were out of it that day. I don’t consider this to be entirely detrimental to my experience. Overall it was very good, and I would definitely eat there again.

I’ve been coming to El Portal for a while, mainly for lunch since I work close by and I really like it here. I love the food, the service, and the atmosphere. The employees are very friendly and always greet you with a smile. You can’t beat the prices for the amount of food you get. I usually pay close to $ 8 for their daily lunch specials. Give it a try! :)

Great food, good flavor and portions. I always order by phone and pick up, but last sunday I went with my husband to dine in and the service was very slow. They need to hire a more friendly and attentive waitress.

Very slow service, food is good. They’re very slow at serving here and it’s not that they were busy, only two other tables besides us and the food took a long time. Servers were also slow not very attentive. I would go back for the food but the slowness of service makes me hesitant to go back.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR DINNER. We did, based on a friend’s recommendation, and the beef dishes were ill-​prepared and flavorless. There’s a reason why on a Saturday night, this place is empty and El Balcon around the corner is packed.

Love this place! Best coffee, pan de bono and empanadas! This is a breakfast staple in my household. We always take our family and friends to this establishment. The interior is very modern and clean. If you are hungover from a night of partying, I would highly recommend their beef soup. It’s only offered on Saturdays and Sunday’s and runs out quickly! If you are in Deerfield Beach, you need to check this place out :) great service!

I go here periodically for the bakery and it’s amazing. The arepas and pan de bonos are the best and they’re incredibly cheap. I’ve never had a sit down meal here, but it seems like the customers are always enjoying themselves.

Cold coffee, cold eggs, nuked bacon, don’t ask for jelly they only give you one and that takes 10mins to arrive!!!
