This review is based on two recent visits. This is a local staple and a solid Greek diner. Their pies have given them some notoriety lately. I like all the cream ones they have: chocolate, banana, coconut, etc., Yum! Their food is solid. I like to choose the items on the menu with the little«eyes» icon next to them, it means they’re a «signature item» like the Pot Roast Melt, which I enjoy. Their fries are a little on the crispy side, by the way, with a distinct texture I have not encountered before. I also love the Saturday soup special: Avgolemeno. It’s a creamy potato based Greek soup with a lemon zing. Very delicious. Their Greek specials are very good across the board. Sometimes service is a little slow(but friendly) and their prices seem a tad higher than comparable establishments. They have a loyalty card program, but it takes a lot of visits to rack up the free meal and even then it’s less of a bonus than other restaurants.

The BEST! The morning crew are the friendliest bunch of girls and gals and guys. They make me feel at home every day where I get my eggs over easy whole wheat toast bacon crisp with extra hash browns

What happened to this place? Same staff, but they looked tired and uninterested. My egg white omelette came scrambled and soggy. Again, uninterested when I told the waitress. The wife’s pancakes were bricks. 2 pancakes, omelette and 2 coffees for 30 bucks including a 20% undeserved tip, but knowing what they make per hour leaves me guilt otherwise. Used to be good. They lost my business and the new folks I used to bring there and current folks I know go there. Good luck to the regulars barely keeping the place open.

I love this dinner, I’ve coming here for year now and have always enjoyed the food. It’s family owned and you every generation working here. I always sit by the windows in the boots on the main dining area, they have a sitting area in the back but I like it by the Windows and the boots. Great breakfast and great service!!!

Everything is homemade — the best cornbeef hash I have had out East… The waitstaff is super friendly, and doesn’t rush you out of the place(even when super slammed) AND one of the ONLY places where when ordering eggs over medium — well, actually knows what they are doing and serves it just like you requested… I cannot wait to go back!!!

A good down to earth diner. Although they have made their breakfasts on the expensive side. Have not had a meal here other than breakfast in 15 years.

There we were, parked outside of our favorite breakfast spot staring at a sign letting us know they would be closed for two weeks. In an attempt not to panic and let the hanger take over, I quickly looked this place up on the Unilocal app. This is a solid place for breakfast or lunch, but make sure that you get there on empty because to portion sizes are ginormous! The service was fast and friendly despite them being packed for Sunday brunch. My one negative would be that this place is in desperate need of a face lift. Some of the ceiling tiles look ready to fall out, the furniture is at least 20 years old and, while they were addressing it(there were signs in the bathroom explaining things), the plumbing is in a bad way. Still, if you’re looking for a good, hole-in-the-wall joint for a tasty meal at a decent price, give Marlee’s a try. Just hold your bathroom trips for home.

There today. Service was excellent. Some of the best service I have experienced in South Florida, and most importantly– the food was excellent. The burger was fresh and perfect and the fries were a perfect golden brown. Delicious. Would highly recommend. Will be back again when in the area.

If you’re looking for a diner, this is a nice little spot if you’re in the Deerfield beach area regardless if it breakfast or lunch you are craving. Staff is friendly and attentive, food is always on point and portions are good.

This place has terrible food, so low quality and way overpriced for what it is. By the time you do coffee and omelette you’re looking at $ 20 out the door for one person just not acceptable for a sub par breakfast. I have had breakfast sandwiches and omelette from here all flavorless and not fresh while the staff stands around and talks about their personal issues that are way more than I or anyone else would want to hear.

Ordered their roast beef dinner after being scolded about being specific as to which roast beef I wanted. It came with mashed potatoes and gravy with carrots. The gravy tasted old but the mashed potatoes were real and tasty as was the roast beef. Wife ordered the hotdog and sweet potato fries. The bread of the hotdog tasted stale but the hot dog was good along with the sweet potato fries. The fries did rank in the top 10. The prices were a little high for being a diner. The roast beef dinner was $ 14, a bit much for lunch at a diner.

Super fresh, clean, friendly, and good food. They offer a variety of veggie products that are completely homemade. No frozen veggie burgers, no premixed falafel. The staff was very very friendly. The place was filled with regulars who chatted away with the staff. They were really attentive and seemed to genuinely want to talk. I got the falafel pita and it was delicious. The fries were good too. Next time I’ll try the veggie burger because I hear its an original recipe and very good. For the portion size, the price of the pita was about 9 – 10 dollars, but worth it.

We went here for something small for dinner the waitress did not know what the specials were or the desserts. She handed us a piece of paper that had them on it. I ordered soup and salad and the soup was really good but when I ordered the salad I asked for no onions. When she brought the salad out it had onions on it I let the waitress know who she took it back to the cook and he removed the onions with his bare hands and then handed the salad back to the waitress to bring to me. That did not seem very sanitary. I will not go back here again.

It was Saturday morning, and I was looking for a diner to get a omelet, so I did what I usually do. Go to Unilocal for help. Marlee’s Dinner was the best rated place to have breakfast, in the area. I decided to give it a try. Pulling up to the place I knew it had to be good because the parking lot was full. I had to wait for a parking spot. Once I walked in, I immediately noticed that this place was a throw back. It felt like I was at a diner in New York. This must be the spot where all the retirees come to hang out and share old stories. That’s what I found myself doing with them lol. Lets get to the food. I was starving, so the create your own omelet sounded like a great Idea. So I did what every growing starving man would. I started piling up the meat. I ordered a 3 egg omelet with bacon, turkey, avocado, cheddar cheese, sausage and mushrooms. I wish I had read the fine print before ordering;(each topping is either $ 2 or $ 3) I paid $ 19 for an omelet. Please don’t judge me. I realized it after I paid the bill :(. I will give this place 4 stars because the food was really good and there was a good atmosphere

Not bad breakfast! I come here once a month. It’s pretty popular with the locals. You can’t go wrong with bacon egg cheese sandwich with hash browns and French toast.

The service was great. Fast seating and fast service on the food. The only issue is the pasta was bland. The chicken was soft and juicy though so the hero was the poultry. Definitely giving this place a second shot sometime.

After eating at Marlee’s this morning I almost feel ashamed that I have passed this diner up for IHOP more than once. I’ve never had such amazing corned beef hash! Will never buy it canned again, or order it anywhere else. My beautiful lady friend and I ordered pancake & Belgium waffle slams for our main dishes. They both were huge portions and the bacon, sausage, and eggs were all cooked perfectly! Service and atmosphere were top notch too. Hands down, Best diner experience I have ever had — bar seating included just like what you see in the movies!

Went here on suggestion of a friend who is a local and boy oh boy we weren’t disappointed. This is a nice large Diner with a very big menu with lots of items to choose from and also daily specials. Our waitress greeted us promptly and with a huge smile… she offered some of her favorites to help us out. I went with one of their Stacker’s. Which are very filling… I chose the Sunrise Stacker which was the restaurants own corned beef piled on top of hash browns topped with scrambled eggs diced tomatoes cheddar cheese and hollandaise sauce. Very filling and tasty to boot. My hubby went with a tasty and fluffy Belgian Waffle with a side of Corned Beef. His coffee was refilled without having to ask and our waters were even topped off. Would like to stop here again next time we are in FL to try more of their tasty offerings.
