You can skip Sea Watch Restaurant if you are in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Service was slow at best and portion size on expensive entrée was ridiculous. They have a broiled combination for 34.00 which contains 3 small shrimp, 3 small scallops and a lobster tail. Only other thing on the plate were a few pieces of asparagus and some small carrots. All other items on the menu are ala carte. Took a few guests and I was frankly embarrassed by the portion sizes of their meals. With so many good seafood restaurants in the area, you can do much better for your money.

Excellent!!! The service, food, and ambiance is always top notch. Great seafood and fun just to go for cocktails. I love this place!!! I had the macadamia crusted grouper and it was so delish. Please don’t visit without having their signature cocktail, the Planter’s Punch!!!

Great view, good food and attentive service make this restaurant a Florida favorite. There is a nice drink selection and you can sit inside or outside. Lobster specials in the summer are very reasonably priced. Crowd is eclectic mix of people. One of the best Florida experiences in Deerfield Beach!

Great setting with nice views of the intracoastal and outdoor bar and seating. We started with ahi tuna tower. Nice and fresh garnished with pineapple cubes. I had the baked seafood platter. Nice and fresh with a variety of seafoods to sample. My friend had the macadamia crusted fish that was totally out of this world. Lots of exotic house stinks to choose from. Food was fresh. Prices reasonable.

Went for mothers days made reservations a few days prior. Had great seats outside right in the intercostal. The conch fritters were delicious. The seared tuna tacos was outstanding, as well as the other food that was ordered. Fish and chips, shrimp with pasta were great. Great views and relaxing. Highly recommend

Our server seemed disinterested at best. Our order was not handled correctly on several levels — I had order conch chowder, and after a long wait, I asked about it, and they told me it was coming. 5 – 10 minutes later, my entrée arrived. I told the server to forget about the soup. She seemed to ignore me at first, and when I said it again, she responded«Oh, you don;t want it?». Why would I want it after my meal arrived? Also, my wife asked for a fruit appetizer, of just one type of fruit, and of course it came as mixed fruit. She also asked for no sauce on her shrimp, and guess what? The saving grace was the great view sitting by the water. I am hoping the problem was the server and not the venue. I would like to come back and enjoy the view.

I was in deerfield on vacation and came here because you can ear outside and watch the boats. I received excellent customer service from Colette and her manager Kirk. We had an issue with our appetizer he rushed us a new one and comped it at after apologizing. I was very satisfied with my good also it taste great. Especially being from Maryland and tasting Maryland style seafood in Florida.

First off this place has ½ off all drinks happy hour daily 4 – 7 pm outside at the bar with views on the inlet! Super deal! The décor is pleasant with a relaxed vibe and the prices are reasonable. The food was fresh and good not excellent, but good. The coconut shrimp was well cooked and tasty. The crab cakes were a little salty, but well cooked and flavorful and they serve up some house made tarter sauce(boring) good ribs and burgers. Service in the dinning room was 5 stars. Server was attentive, friendly, efficient and helpful. Service at the bar is 2 stars. Bartender seemed a bit cranky and a little curt. No friendly or good service there. It Took ten minutes to get a glass of wine because she had to look at me and walk away a few times before actually offering to get me a glass of wine. Granted they were slammed, but still… Also the hostess seemed bored out of her gourd or like she wanted to take a nap. Overall this is a good restaurant with good food, but maybe management could do some fine tuning if they care to make improvements.

Location, location location… on the intercostal… is what keeps this restaurant alive… nautical, almost New England like atmosphere pulls in the crowds… only to be disappointed by an extremely pedestrian menu… with mediocre fried foods. don’t look for any oysters .we preferred to take an indoor booth comfortably away from the outdoor bar permeated by mediocre weekend noisy entertainment … nevertheless the crowds appeared to be having a good time imbibing rather than eating. As a starter I tried the chicken quesadillas accompanied by cilantro sour cream.. the four quesadilla slices are quite filling… and should be shared with 3 other people… allowing enough room for an entrée… the questadillas are barely worthy of three stars… a better starter was the crab cocktail with fresh crab meat, enhanced by old bay seasoning and a dijon aoli. For an entrée. I selected the baked seafood platter… except for the crab cake, the remaining items on this platter were forgettable… particularly the haddock & the shrimp salad… The clam casino preparation consisted of two tiny clams camouflagd by two strips of bacon… service was acceptable until the restaurant became a bit busier after 6 p. m…we will probably return to the Two Georges which is a perfect spot to sit and look at the intercoastal with a beer in one hand and a hamburger in the other. Unfortunately I cannot give this restaurant any more than three stars… awarded mainly because of location.

It’s getting two stars only because the bar tenders out on the deck are good, they pour heavy and know how to move quick. The rest of the place including the menu — wow, what happened? The tuna app was mushy and sour, the broiled seafood platter came with three or four pieces of over cooked shrimp, dried up and over cooked fish, strange tasting scallops and a Walmart grade shrimp salad for $ 28/$ 30. The food quality was matched by the slow and untrained, carefree staff that took 10 min to get out initial drink order and only visited once during the meal — friends arrived on their boat and that is when I went to the outside — deck bar!

When the weather is nice, the outside bar is the perfect place to spend a weekend afternoon. The food is average, stick to the basics but the drinks are plentiful and cold, the service is ok, even when they are busy and you can’t beat the view as yachts both big and small head up and down the intercoastal. Definitely would recommend.

This place is really fun on Fridays or weekends, especially on great weather days. They are great for fish and now even have craft beers. Yum! The dj comes on at 6 or 7pm on Fridays and then the place is nuts. It can get really packed then, so if that’s not your style maybe come at lunch or sit inside. Recommended.

A great place on the waterfront to grab a few drinks. This review is specifically about the outside bar area, not the inside restaurant(though I have eaten here and it isn’t bad). Came here for happy hour a few weeks back after a long hiatus. Despite the cool weather, the bar was packed for 6pm on a Friday. Seems like the $ 3.50 drinks might have something to do with it. However, Two Georges is also a Florida institution, right on the intracoastal, complete with a dock to tie up on. The crowd is locals for the most part, not like most on the water bars down here, though you’ll find plenty of tourists as well. Drinks themselves are pretty standard fare, nothing fancy, as it should be for a Florida keys style bar like this. Ambiance is great with the water view. If you need a little more quiet you an slip out to the dock where there’s a bit less people. In the bar itself it’s pretty packed around happy hour, so getting your drink can take a couple of minutes. The serving staff work their butts off so make sure to tip them!

Mediocre at best. Lobster tails aren’t fresh, they’re frozen, quality on everything was sub par. We had a $ 200 tab and I asked when the entrees were coming out because the portions were so small. Great spot on the Inlet though, bar was crowded, but food wasn’t what we expected for«seafood» No whole lobster, No Crab legs, extreme Baby clams, no mussels, baby shrimp only(they advertise as jumbo), tuna tartar was funky and loaded with mango so it tasted off, all small portions, not worth the buck. Looking for seafood, keep moving Looking for good bar on the Inlet, I might consider going again just for drinks.

Inexplicably, the restaurant was busy. Last time we were here was 2 years ago; it was fine. Tonight was a different story – my food was so bland, I left over most of my entrée, the Coconut Shrimp, eating only enough to chase away my hunger. The sides, except for the fries, which were not supposed to be on my plate, were also unseasoned. That’s how it all tasted – like the chef forgot to add anything to enhance flavor. There was no point of view to the food. The only happy one at the table was my seven year old, who ordered the kids shrimp, but now has a terrible stomach ache. She NEVER feels sick. The second waitress we had was attentive, the first abandoned us. We have no reason to go back.

This place came highly recommended by a friend who insisted on taking us here for dinner. She said the food was good and the view is excellent. She was right about most of it but the food was decent, but a bit pricy for what we got. I had seared ahi tuna tacos, and while not bad they certainly weren’t worth the price. Slightly toasted flour tortillas with shredded cabbage, bland mango salsa and bland ahi tuna with a honey soy reduction was just boring. Sadly the best part of my meal were the French fries, those were good. My wife got coconut jumbo shrimp and while I’ve had better(and less greasy) they weren’t bad. Service was great. Our waiter Cesar was so attentive and friendly. If I lived locally I doubt I’d come back.

I had a good experience here. The Cove in Deerfield Beach is a cute little shopping center. There is plenty of parking. The weather was beautiful. We sat outside on the breezy patio on the water. We were a group of about 15 people but the service was still efficient and organized. Our orders were taken quickly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. My blackened«Dolphin» sandwich was tasty and the fries were good. While this is not the best meal I’ve ever had the atmosphere is relaxing, the music playing outside was nice, and the service was friendly and efficient.

We came to check this place because of the decent reviews on Unilocal.I have to say that we were extremely disappointed. Let’s start by the cleanliness of the place. It was fitly inside. Outside there was overpowering smell of gasoline that it was impossible to stay out. When we got settled we were told that there was no real fresh fish. All of the menu is frozen food. I think it’s compleat ripoff considering the prices they charge for they food. Once the food arrived(fish and chips) it’s was overly greasy and tastes and super hot while the firs was cold. The selection of beer was very poor. Another attraction coming here is they advertising ocean view. We cirtenly did see much more then drunk college kids. I would not recommend this place to anyone, further more recommend to avoid at all cost. It’s not kids friendly and the menu was extimily poor and undernourished. All the food is pre made.
