Always hate trying to find someone new to color my hair, have had a bad experience when I moved cities. I was shopping at Ulta and didn’t even realize hat they had a salon in the back. They were running a special cut and color for $ 60 so I thought, let’s give it a go, there is no way they could use crappy products that would damage my hair.
Yes they use quality products, but the real gem is the stylist named Orga. He was great at color, cut and style… All three. It is hard to find someone who is clean and organized when applying color and great and cutting too.
Been back again and same great talent!

Dominique in the Salon is amazing! She was very personable, cut my hair exactly how I wanted it, and seemed to be the go to person for every other stylist. She’s a gem! Definitely going back to her!

I love this place and I really wanted to sample a foundation but they do not give samples! The sales lady I asked looked at me like I was trying to steal gold by asking for a sample. What kind of foolishness is that!!? I did get some great NYX products for an awesome price, but some items I’ve been wanting for a long time were still out of stock. Still one of my favorite makeup stores!

Went in for a facial but this is not the place for one… they don’t have a private room so you hear the noise, talking and music from the store… no table, just an uncomfortable lounge chair to sit on… not relaxing at all… store itself gets 2 stars… I’ve purchased things there and the staff, while assisting you in buying a product, don’t seem to be too interested in doing so… cashiers extremely friendly but that could be because you’re actually buying something… thought they have a nice inventory, store clean and organized… the service doesn’t quite match it, had coupons but they woudn’t allow on certain products that I have gotten at other stores or on the web with coupons… not impressed… a better store is GBS Beauty Supply in Boca Raton, though not as large, they still have a very nice inventory and certainly have much better service

So I have never stepped inside a Ulta salon and supplies until very recently. I was pleasantly surprised at the wide range of products they carry. Ulta is basically a one stop beauty store. You will see anything from makeup, to hair products to perfumes, etc. If you need to beautify yourself and do not want to go to many shops, I recommend coming here.
This particular location of Ulta is relatively new (about a year here). And I like the whole set up: easy to find things. I ended up buying some hair products/​accessories. I liked the fact they carry so many brands. The prices seemed decent but nothing was super on sale. My eyes were on a floral print chi hair straightener but I decided against that because the price seemed 10 percent more from Amazon. I did however sign up for their rewards program. I’m hoping to get some email coupons to get that straightener in the future.
They also have a salon section however I did not get any services done so I can’t recommend how it is. They do offer many things like hair cuts, moisturizing treatments, hairstyles, manicures etc. Its listed in their website as well with the pricing.

I went to a hair salon inside of Ulta Store in Deerfield Beach and I absolutely hated! I asked to the hair stylist named as Vincent to cut my hair just a little bit (about 4 inches) and the guy cut it aroud 8 or 10! I was very specific in saying that I could not have a too short hair ’cause I work as a model and for ufc and I have to keep it longer in order to have more hairtyle options. I spoke with the manager and she didn’t charge for the «work», but I’m sooo mad because it wasn’t what I asked for!!! How can you hire a professional that took decisions without your clientes approval?

I’m loving Ulta. They have a ton of products at a great price. But there are also some things that can be bought cheaper at your local grocery store/​convenience store. So anything else that is not available locally is totally worth it.

My home away from home. I have a slight makeup addition, and everything I crave is right here. The place is big and always well stocked. The staff are friendly and helpful. Not the closest Ulta to my house, but the one I would much rather shop at.

I went there for a gel manicure since it’s new in my neighborhood. I loved the nail tech — she was very friendly and we had a nice chat. However, that said, the manicure was horrendous. My cuticles were ragged and the polish was lumpy. There were «corners» on my nails that were left unpolished. What a shame! I’ll be purchasing items there since I love the store but I will not be getting any more salon services.

I love me an ulta. and now theres one close to where mama dukes resides which works out for me! I hope they do well in this plaza where Paragon theatres is at, marshalls tjmaxx and sports authority and publix.
what’s not to like about ulta? its like a cvs and sephora in one. they usually always have coupons and have agood loyalty program. I stopped in here on a weekday evening and staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn’t get a good look to see if they had salon services or the benefit eyebrow bar. Welcome to the neighboorhood, Ulta!
