My Fiancé and I decided to stop here to try some Crepes. We are not experienced crêpe eaters but our server Eva was very friendly and guided us through the different options and took the time to explain the difference between certain Crepes. The recommendations she gave were on point and I got the smore crêpe which was delicious. My fiancé got the coco-Choco-nut crêpe which she would not share with me because it was apparently amazing. I highly recommend this place for its wonderful food and service. When a person goes that extra mile for you(like Eva) it honestly makes the ambience and the overall experience that much nicer.

My review is only on the crêpe, haven’t tasted wine. I wanted to try this place for a moment, I did today and was disappointed. I love crêpe, it is something easy to prepare, I usually do it myself but sometimes it’s good to have that outside. So the dough is not terrible, not bad but not good and a little too thick for a sweet crêpe. The dark Belgian chocolate was excellent, and chocolate is always good with almonds :), but they add chocolate powder(over sweet) and a whipped cream that is not real cream(processed white stuff too sweet too), and these extra stuffs just ruin the crêpe. Crepes are so easy to make, I don’t understand how people can miss that, even in France there are a lot of creperie(restaurant specialized in crêpe) that are not good at all, but it’s an easy business to do so it’s everywhere. I’m still hoping to find a good crêpe place in SD county.

My wife and I spent the month of May in Del Mar. We ate here twice for lunch. We ate many places over that period and both felt that our meals here were as good as anywhere we ate for lunch. We both had the soup and sandwich. I had the Seafood Chowder the first time and the Chicken Tortilla soup the second time. Both were incredible and we told the chef so. He confirmed that they are made from scratch daily. I do agree with the comments relative to the charge for water and hope they consider eliminating this charge.

Just enjoyed an absolutely lovely breakfast on the patio. Crepes Benedict were perfect and my son loved the Crepes with Nutella, banana, and toasted coconut. If this place was in Vegas, I would be addicted!

My date and I ended up here after a great night and it only got better. Chef Roman has the most friendly personality and such a vibrancy. I enjoyed a glass of the Crepes and Corks CabSauv and my date enjoyed a glass of the Sylvest(If memory serves) these paired well with the Raspberry Truffle crêpe. The ambience was perfect for an hour of conversation and great company. Roman mentioned his ribs and pulled pork smoked on premises(the pork goes fast) and I will definitely be back to enjoy them soon.

I hate to say it, but I was not too impressed with Crepes and Corks. My friend and I came here for a little event– we started with a bottle of wine because it was a half-off night, where a selection of wines were on special. That was great, but we ordered a chardonnay and it was served room temperature. We asked the waitress if she could keep it chilled as we drank it, she said she could see what she could do but never addressed the situation again. By that point we were a little disappointed in the service already so instead of going straight to the crepes, we chose a few appetizers to get started just to test out the food before ordering a full meal. I had a salad that was overdressed but okay and my friend ordered the hummus plate that was mediocre. We decided to end the night there and instead walked over to another restaurant to continue our meal. I have never had a savory crêpe before but I did not really want to continue the dining experience there.

The sliders were very good– but only 2 stars because: .50 for one glass of tap water– is ridiculous-its the principal-waitress should have said prior My friend said her crêpe was canned pears, in a real good restaurant they would have used fresh pairs– I was overcharged for my bill-2.00 when I pointed it out to the waitress she said«oh do you want me to adjust this?» Well YEAH if you want a 20% tip! I think the place may be cutting costs on good quality products. It was incredibly hot in the room I had to ask to turn the fans on-maybe the owner didn’t want to spend money on running a spinning fan– after all they need all the .50 they can get! This place is a wanna be French Restaurant– I have been to MANY crêpe restaurants from the East Coast, West Coast and Europe-this place is not authentic by any means. The photos on the web of their crepes LOOKSNOTHING like it in real life– great photography!

My daughter especially wanted to come here for her birthday breakfast. We came here about a month ago for desert and it was much nicer then. I asked if we can do something for her birthday. The waitress said she’ll check with the chef. They did nothing, she just brought the bill. Didn’t even think to say happy birthday to my daughter. The table was a two seater table for the four of us. I asked to move to a larger empty table. She let us move our own drinks with a hassle and quickly started straightening out the knives and forks of our first table. My husband ordered eggs. He asked for toast. They couldn’t accommodate this request. Food was meh. Latte was too strong but very watery. I think it was made with half milk and half water. There are much nicer little restaurants in Del Mar!

Too notch crêpe spot in the heart of Del Mar! The crepes are as delicious as you would find in Paris, cooked to perfection and offering fillings to satisfy every taste. I came here for brunch on a Sunday morning with friends, and we were seated immediately. I did notice few open spots out on the patio and inside as well so it wasn’t too busy when we got there at 10. We ordered the florentine crêpe, eggs Benedict crêpe, and the lox and Brie crêpe. All three were delicious and completely different then the other!!! The portioning was great — I do recommend getting one each as you can definitely have a full one and be satisfied. We also got the coco-Choco-nut crêpe which was to die for! Probably my favorite crêpe and definitely recommend as the coconut makes it perfect. We got coffee and the strawberry mimosa and kiwi mimosa which were also pretty nice! Love this spot and definitely a new favorite.

Gluten free crepes and AYCE mussels? OKAY! On Wednesdays, from 5pm to close, they have bottomless black mussels with fries. This girl is a regular at a few AYCE places all around San Diego and I don’t think Crepes & Corks was ready for me. haha. The décor inside is super cute and the music is on point! We started off with 2 glasses of pinot grigio while waiting for the first round of mussles to arrive. My husband got the roasted garlic buttery chardonnay reduction and I got the lemon béchamel. The platter came with a good amount of mussels soaked in the sauce of your choosing with a cup of fries in the middle. The mussels were tender and juicy. The fries were crispy and not too salty. The lemon béchamel was so good I dipped my fries in it and wanted to sip it on a spoon. The garlic butter chardonnay was just alright for me. We finished up our plates and Eva took our orders for the next round. My husband got the bacon and beer sauce and I stuck to my delicious lemon béchamel. Once again, we thought the lemon béchamel was the clear winner. It took a while for us to get another round order in. I guess they didn’t think we could eat that much? I mean, if you say AYCE, I’m gonna eat all I can eat, especially if I waited all day to come and eat mussels at 5pm! While waiting we got another round of wine to kill some time and fill our bellies. We both ordered lemon béchamel for round 3 and even told her we were going to order a round 4. She was impressed! I guess a lot of people don’t go past round 2. My husband even wanted to get a round 5 but he was tired of waiting for the food so we opted for dessert instead. After 4 rounds of mussels and fries, my husband and I ordered a gluten free nutella delight crêpe. It came out almost instantly and looked appetizing. Since going gluten free, I haven’t had a sweet crêpe and missed the deliciousness and texture of the dessert! There was a good amount strawberries and bananas inside the crêpe and the crêpe itself wasn’t chewy. I was in heaven! Overall, the service is friendly here but it was just a tad bit slow considering the fact that the restaurant wasn’t busy when we were there. We would have liked it better if she took our orders for the next rounds as we were finishing our plates and not 5 mins after because it still took a while to cook the mussels and bring them out after we ordered them. The food was good but I don’t think it’s worth the drive out from Escondido, even for the crepes.

This was such a disappointment for me and my family. Came here late one night looking to get a dessert crêpe. We all love buckwheat crepes because they taste amazing and are gluten free. I have had them in many restaurants, in many states, and countries. These are by a long shot the worst. They are cake like and doughy. There was so much excess crêpe I couldn’t stomach it. I got my crêpe with a apple cinnamon filling and the apple skins were left on and the apples were raw! As for the actual restaurant itself, it is very cute and quant. Very small on the inside, but cute. The service was bad. We were the only people in there. Our waiter didn’t notice we were out of water but also that no one finished their treat. A huge disappointment, felt like I wasted my money.

I’m the only one in here and the black gentleman behind the counter is killing my buzz. If Unilocal had a microphone option you could all be blessed with his horrific, soul singing to Keith Sweat song blasting on the radio. It’s so bad a beautiful bottle of wine couldn’t fix it. Seriously. Shut up. Sir. Place seems great. Food was good. I only got a banana Nutella crêpe so it’s would be hard to mess that up. Unfortunately, I’m going crazy listening to his singing. Maybe I can move to the patio. He just sang, «when we make good love, all night, you’re touching me.» I can’t. Shut. Up. Sir. «I don’t know how long I can last,» «I’ll take you to xtc until we fall asleep.» Oh good Rihanna just came on the radio, I can’t wait to hear his rendition of this song. I wonder if they offer earplugs.

Their menu is quite a mix of choices, but really what you want are the crepes. There are a lot varieties ranging from the standard fruit filling to the moderately unique(Nutella or dolce de leche) to the really unique. Their menu mentions having gluten-free options also. I personally had the s’mores crêpe and it was fantastic. The dark chocolate helps offset the sweetness and the portion size was perfect — filling but not leaving stuffed. My service was great also.

really great food and service, first time I have actually found a place in North County//SD county who’s Crêpes I enjoy. the mimosas are always good too! brought my friend here today since she’s visiting me & we went to grab some cash from my car to leave a bigger tip for our cute waiter & when we came back they had closed about 15 minutes early aka missed connections. but always a good experience here!

I am not sure if it was an OFF day for them but the service was lacking and a big turn off is charging 50 cents for water. I completely understand about conserving water but to go as far as charging someone for it is just too much for me. The 2 star is solely based on the food we ordered. Lobster Bisque: it was A-OK had better elsewhere Truffle Fries: OK, could have had a bit more flavor though Pesto chicken crêpe: it was good and light just the right amount of flavor We also ordered Bellinis which taste just like a mimosa… weird Oh our server spill our soup and didn’t bother taking it back to refill it to the level it was supposed to be.

I have always wanted to try Crepes and Corks so I was delighted when my friend suggested it as a brunch spot for Saturday morning. We met around 11:00 and there was plenty of street parking despite it being a nice beach day in Del Mar. We sat outside on the patio with our dogs and it was a pleasant morning. I wish the patio was a bit bigger as we were basically sitting in the laps of our neighboring tables and it made conversating a bit uncomfortable because I knew people could hear every word… first world problems. I originally planned on ordering one of the savory crepes, but my sweet tooth took over and at the last minute I changed my mind to the s’mores crêpe. It was absolutely delicious. It came out warm and fresh with the chocolate oozing out of the sides. The whipped cream melted over the entire crêpe by the time I grabbed my fork to eat and it was seriously heaven in my mouth. I was unable to eat the entire crêpe as they are quite large and I was full through the entire day until I ate dinner around 7:00. They do charge for water($.50) and my bill came out to $ 11 including tax and tip. A little pricey, but I have only had a crêpe once before so I am not sure if that is on par with average crêpe prices or not.

Came with the girlfriend for Friday brunch, was greeted by a friendly guy named Jonathan. Food was clean and perfectly done, we went with his recommendations considering I liked hot spicy foods and the girlfriend liked sweet dishes. We ordered the Huevos Rancheros and the girlfriend got the Coco Choco Nut crêpe. Presentation and service were 5 stars all around! Can’t wait to come back for wine tasting.

The name tells it all. Crepes only! occasional sandwiches but if you’re here for crepes, get the crepes! We came too late for breakfast crepes but the chicken pesto crepes and the black forrest ham sandwich crepes were delicious. I also ordered bottomless mimosas! they were the best. Although my boyfriend complained about the our appetizer taking too long and our entrees came out already.(in which we ended up canceling the order) and how my mimosa glasses were piling up at the table because no one bussed our tables. We only notice these things because we sat a small table with little elbow room to enjoy our food. In all in, crepes are good!

My friend and I came here right when they opened on a Wednesday, so for awhile we were the only people in the restaurant. It was easy to find, and at that time of day parking was easy to find. The wait staff was very friendly, and their menu is fantastic. I really enjoyed my Spinach & Feta omelet, and the strawberry crêpe my friend & I shared was delicious! I would highly recommend getting the fresh strawberries… made all the difference! We had more than enough food to fill our tummies before a long day at Sea World! I only needed to eat a very light lunch that afternoon because I was filled up for so long from breakfast.

Spent a short weekend in del mar and decided to stop here since they made gluten free crepes. Sadly disppointed in the breakfast food and delivery. Ketchup served in packets, juice right out of a minute maid bottle and no fresh avocado, but packaged guacamole. Crepes looked good and sounded good, but fell extremely short. They even charged 50 cents for glasses of water. WOW. Not recommended at all.

This is a nice place to come. We came for breakfast, but they also serve lunch/dinner. Parking is street parking on Camino Del Mar or on a neighborhood street. I’ve come to this area a number of times, and mostly it isn’t bad. Crepes and Cork is a small place with some outdoor patio seating and a small inside. I ordered the egg and cheese crêpe with bacon. This comes with a side a roasted potatoes. I enjoyed the crêpe. The crêpe layer wasn’t too thick and was a good ratio with the eggs and bacon. The roasted potatoes were a bit soft on the inside. Bf ordered the meat lovers omelet. If you like meat, this is a good dish to get as it had a lot of meat. It had a mix of bacon, sausage, and ham. The meat wasn’t mixed into the egg before cooking, rather it was like the egg was a taco shell and all the meat was the fillling. It was ok, and definitely a meat lovers dish, but too much for us. This also comes with roasted potatoes. As others have stated, they do charge for water due to the drought. It’s a bit unexpected and the first I’ve seen in places. Service was ok. Initially in the beginning it was good, but once we got our food, they rarely came around to refill drinks and it took forever to get our check and pay. Overall I would give 3 stars.

Taste-**** Service– ***** Ambiance– *** Parking– ** Great place for sandwiches and crepes. Tried the Italian salami panini and the brie with prosciutto which were both really delicious. Actually preferred the sandwiches over the crêpe that I ordered. Some of the combinations seem a little bit out there, like the turkey and apple panini, but overall really enjoyed all the dishes. Parking was tough. Service was good. It’s a little place, and you could easily miss it, but thanks to Unilocal I found myself another cool spot to dine in North County.

A few years ago I was out on a stroll in Del Mar and I saw this crêpe shop that a certain Unilocaler has mentioned in his reviews. After two weeks of introducing my coworkers to some of the brewery spots around SD a coworker and I wanted wine. Through this request I was then able to try this place for myself. VENUE: I LOVE the ambience of the Del Mar area — it bears resemblance to La Jolla Cove with the shops just a short walk from the water. This perk is also the biggest con — limited parking options. As we got off work at 3 street parking wasn’t so bad as there were two spots right next to the restaurant. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. There’s an umbrella that covers the tables outdoors, though I wish it would have been big enough to cover all the chairs. SERVICE: The waitstaff was pleasant but our party was confused when the bill was brought out at the end and we had asked the party to split the check. Though they split the check as requested the receipts were so confusing to interpret. We had to flag down the waitress and had her explain why the bill was presented that way. The entire party had identical orders of wine and crepes and we shared an appetizer of calamari. Wine Tasters — 3 reds/$ 15. A limited selection off the regular list of reds and whites are used to make the«daily specials» that comprise the wines that can be ordered for the flights. The presentation was that the lightest wine was in the glasses while the other two wines are stored in individual-sized decanters made to be poured into the main glass. The pours were quite generous and for tasters it seemed like we were drinking three full glasses. We enjoyed our Haute Reds, a light Pinot Noir that just screams out«summer sipper». The third wine is decent but the second wine just had a lot of sediment and just tasted gritty and bland. Calamari — Golden & crispy outside, tender inside, served with a trio of dipping sauces.($ 11). Squid was shaped into rings. It tasted exactly what it states in the description. The green sauce was easily the preferred sauce of the party. I preferred it as it’s very similar to the verde sauce I see in Peruvian and Mexican restaurants. Coco-Choco-Nut — Banana, coconut, Nutella, whip cream($ 7.95). I’m starting to like coconut if it’s toasted, it adds a bit of crunch to a soft crêpe, banana and creamy Nutella. The whipped cream took off some of the Nutella rich aftertaste. For an extra $ 3.95 you could add a gelato to your crêpe, which my co-worker decided to take. In retrospect I think the crêpe would go well with the gelato but it would’ve been too much sweets in one sitting. They also serve savory crepes. On my next visit I’ll do an appetizer, savory and sweet crêpe for my meal. My party enjoyed this experience and I’m glad I was finally able to cross off another restaurant off my list.

Date of visit: 8÷23÷2015 My girlfriends treated me out to brunch here on Sunday as part of my brunch and beach bachelorette party. Even though it is a small dining area, the staff was super nice about our large group and reorganized almost all of the tables so we could sit together — we had a party of 12 people. Egg, Cheese, and Bacon Crêpe(easy on the cheese). I was so hungry that my crêpe disappeared within two minutes. Honestly, it was just as good as my previous visit and hit the spot perfectly. The potatoes that came with it were the same and complimented the crêpe well. I added hot sauce to my crêpe, which made it nice and spicy. All of my girlfriends really loved their coffee drinks, so I’ll definitely have to check out their other coffee options next time. I got a cup of tea, which was really nice to sip on. Instead of pre-filled tea bags, they had actual loose leave tea, which was filled into one of those self-fill tea bags. Yum! Crepes and Corks is definitely a great stop — all of their options are really good. Even though their crêpe machine broke down before our dessert crepes could come out, the staff didn’t try to chase out our large group, but ensured that we all got our dessert crepes.

My husband was craving crepes so we found this crêpe restaurant in Del Mar. Parking available on the streets(2 hours free). We ordered: (1) Marzipan Pleasure $ 9 Creamy almond paste, caramelized apples, cocoa powder, whipped cream Was pretty good! The crêpe skin was rather thick. This place charges $ 0.50 per glass of tap water, that pretty much sucked. Don’t know of many places that would charge for water so was kinda annoyed by that.

Found this little gem when eating across the street, seeing the small sign, and thinking«are those crepes… and wine?!» Next thing I knew I was there a few days later. Crepes & Corks is a fantastic little restaurant, and with a fun and catchy name like that, anyone is bound to check it out. It’s the perfect spot or easing a sweet tooth, or getting a full savory sweet meal with a paired glass of wine. They have a very diverse menu with all kinds of delicious sounding meals and treats. I personally had the Parisienne crêpe(had to do it since I’m from France) and it was much better than I had expected. With bacon, brie, apple slices, and a delicious sweet sauce, it was the perfect dinner on a Saturday night, and at 10:00pm too! I don’t recall much of the interior designing, but the outside terrace is very cute. The hanging lights outside are very creative — made from wine and champagne bottles whose bases have been cut off to insert light bulbs. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back with another friend or my husband for a little date night. The staff was very friendly, the service was very fast, and the prices are very reasonable. The best part is, Crepes & Corks is open until 11:00pm on Saturday nights, which is perfect for those of us who like to grab a late dinner, or a dessert before ending an evening.

I usually like to wait until I visit a place atleast twice prior to reviewing but I liked this place so much I couldn’t help myself. I recently saw someone’s check in and after looking at their pics and salivating a bit, I knew I had to come here asap. I wasn’t sure if I would have time to stop by but after avoiding being pulled over 4 times all within 40 min(I should have bought a lotto ticket) for some questionable driving manuevers, I figured I would celebrate with a great lunch. I arrived around 1pm and it worked out perfect because there was parking right infront and I didn’t have to wait long for my order. I got the Del Mar savory and Black and White sweet crepes. The del mar crêpe is large enough to feed two and both crepes were so good! They also have gelato, specialty coffees and a wine bar. Happy hr from 3 — 6 pm. I’m already planning my next visit.

My wife and I were scouting out locations for our daughter’s birthday. She spotted this location while looking online in the area and we thought we’d check it out ahead of time. It was a cool Friday night and forecast was for rain. Luckily for us, there was no one else in the café so we were greeted and sat immediately. The chef behind the counter mentioned they were getting ready to close shop, but were able to help us out. We ordered dessert crépes since that was what we were planning on ordering here for the birthday event. I had the raspberry truffle while my wife had the dulce strawberry and banana crépe. Both were prepared quickly since we were the only customers. They were warm and fresh and loaded with goodies. I am hoping to go back soon to try out their entrée crépes and wine. They look really good on Unilocal! They also have a small gelato bar which would go nicely on top of a dessert crépe. Customer service was great, especially since we were the only ones in the place. Keep on Unilocal’n!
