I have no reason to hate on this place. Watched the playoffs here and had a good time. Wasn’t being pressured to leave anytime soon which was great.

My food was sitting in the back and was cold. Pizza was very good; service was very bad. There are tons of TV’s to watch sports.

Went to Oggi’s today to watch the game and was thoroughly impressed. The food was good, but the service was outstanding! They had a raffle going for the game and it really kept people interested and entertained. The owner was there and running the raffle, and super friendly. The manager was changing the games on the TVs and was very accommodating. Our waitress was on top of everything and very nice. Overall just felt everyone was happy to be there and it showed in the service. I will be back!

I was going through reviews and don’t understand why people rate this place so low. I give them credit because I think their pizza is great(although I usually enjoy thin crust more). We had the BBQ chicken pizza and all ordered beers. We also had a healthy salad option which tasted great too. I enjoyed knowing I was eating less than 500 calories.

Tried Oggis for the Chargers Game tonight. Half California Cobb salad was good. My husband got wings, 6 wings for 11 dollars– definitely over priced. Service was good, honestly main reason for 3 stars is there is NOAIRCONDITIONING. Mind you, San Diego typically boasts nice weather, but this summer and fall have been hot, it was muggy in the restaurant. The patio looked nice and had a lot of TVs as well.

I had the Hawaiian, it was not seasoned at all. The ingredients are all there but there was absolutely no seasoning on the food. If you have to put salt on your pizza you’re in the wrong place. Service was nice. It was hot and stuffy inside. Won’t go back.

Kinda stinky — beer selection could use an overhaul. The games are great, but the kitchen needs some improvements as well as the beer selection. Overall a good place to watch the game. A bit PRICEY!!!

Reviewed this place 3 years ago and had a bad experience trying to watch a football game and never really got to the menu. It’s been sometime and decided to go back and give the food a try. We were going to watch the games at home so we ordered a bunch of food to take out. We got a «Lightning» pizza which comes with pepperoni and sausage. We got a medium and it’s actually pretty good size. There is plenty of cheese and it’s covered with pepperoni and huge pieces of sausage. The sauce was a simple tomato sauce without much in the way of seasoning but wasn’t bad tasting. And the pizza passes the ‘morning after’ test. Wake up the next day and you can eat it cold straight from refrigerator without heating it up. Very good pizza and infinitely better than the local take-out/delivery pizzas(Domino’s and Papa John’s) and Oggi’s also delivers. We got an order of the Chicken Tequila Fettuccine. This was VERY good! It was quite a large serving and there was plenty of chicken along with the sauce. I’ve had this same dish at Sammy’s Wood Fired Pizza and theirs is absolutely horrible. This dish here at Oggi’s is quite good and I highly recommend ordering this for a group to share as we did. Last we ordered a Chicken Balsamic Salad and again, the portion was good size and quite fresh. A large amount of greens with gorgonzola cheese, walnuts, and sliced up grilled chicken breast with an adequate amount of balsamic dressing. All of the food was quite good. We ordered over the phone although you can order online and have delivered, we went and picked it up. It was ready in less than 15 minutes and still pretty warm when we got hit home. And I was really happy to see they use recyclable containers. Overall, a much better experience than the previous review and maybe next time, we’ll go back and try watching a game. But I’ll definitely go back for some of the food. I’ve heard they have wing night on Tuesdays so I’m going to try that next time.

When visiting San Diego, I often visit Oggi’s. There are plenty of positives about Oggi’s — they serve their own beer, they offer a giant menu with something for everyone, there are lots of huge TVs to catch a game, and the servers all always friendly. However, it is a pretty generic sports bar overall, with good but predictable food options. I almost order Oggi’s sticks– cheese bread that you can customize with pizza toppings(I recommend jalapeño and mushroom). There are always good even if they aren’t very interesting. It’s worth noting that Oggi’s offers some great lunch specials, like Oggi’s sticks with soup or salad, at a pretty good price.

I quite like their pizza, but don’t come often because of that nasty smell. How many people have to complain before they fix it? You do not want to have a restaurant that smells like sewage. I don’t like to bring people here in part because of that – it really is off-putting. Get rid of that, and my review goes up to 4 stars. Due to the unpleasantness of the restaurant itself, I usually get take out pizza. The sauce is thick, heavy on the oregano, almost like tomato paste, but I like it. Not everyone will. They are generous with toppings. The crust is notably good, too.

Cool for the kids. Tons of tv’s and great to watch a sports event. Not my favorite choice for food but the kids enjoy their pizza. The burger was great too. So juicy. My friend and I split a flatbread but can’t even remember what it was. How sad. I remember is wasn’t bad but obviously not so fabulous that I can even remember what it was. I am sure I posted a pic at the time because that’s my usual m.o. Easy to park and I wouldn’t choose this one spot without kids but that’s more because there is so much grown up food and better ambiance elsewhere.

Oggis is an easy go to pizza place. There are usually open tables, so wait is never an issue! Their cheese pizza sticks are my favorite food here! I don’t recommend the wraps or sandwiches, I’d stick to pizza. However, they do have good salads as well!

A very nice place! Beer was pretty good. 18 bucks for a pitcher that can be shared between 4 friends. The Wimbelton was really good for a veggie pizza. I chose the Lightening. Both amazing choices. If you are a big eater like me, you can finish a medium with the exception of 2 slices(this of course is with 3 beers prior) Great atmosphere! It’s an amazing place and has very clear televisions. All of them are on sports related channels. There are 2 places to sit. Inside or outside. The outside area has space heaters so you will not get cold!

Not bad. I came here for the wings night which happens every Tuesday. Its 35 cents for a wing and you get to choose from different flavors, traditional buffalo, garlic Parmesan, lemon and pepper which is a dry rub, and several more! Wings are a little bit on the small side but I really can’t complain since it’s on 35 cents. We also got the club flatbread which was topped with avocado, chicken, bacon, tomatoes, and it was pretty good. Mainly because it was so loaded with fresh avocado. They brew their own beers too, I tried their hefe. It was okay.

Foods ok. There are a lot of tvs but the seating layout is awkward and so it’s easy to find yourself in a spot where you can only see one or two. The restaurant seems to have terrible ventilation so you leave there smelling like grease every time. The floor has carpeting that’s slick with months of food, drinks and grease smoke absorbing into it. The beer is meh and the pizza is way overpriced and just ok. Pizza Port blows this place out of the water.

The people were nice, the food was good, not a million beer options, but I like Oggi’s beer. The service was good at the bar for the most part but WOW does it smell like a literal sewer walking into the place. I don’t know if they need to fix their AC, but the door was open and letting it waft VERY rampantly around the inside of the restaurant. The worst part was the manager(?) who seemed like an owner as he was much older, but blamed it completely on anyone else rather than trying to come up with a solution. He just didn’t seem like a good person to me… not to mention he said he’d close the front door and straight up did NOT.

Great beer as always. I come here with my teammates after volleyball. Had the Torrey Pines ipad. Delicious! Love coming for the $ 6 flatbread on Thursday. Black stout was great too! The service was good, food came out hot and quickly. The check was a little slow but I was in good company and didn’t mind the wait to much. Will be back next Thursday!

Wow, compared to some Unilocalers I had a fantastic experience. Is the food the best food I have ever had-No. Could our server have been more attentive to filling our water glasses-Yes. I had not seen my friend who lives in the area for three years so we basically wanted a place to get something to eat while we yapped for quite awhile uninterrupted. My tacos were actually pretty decent as was my caesar salad. It was late in the afternoon and there was no major sporting event but I can imagine this place can get crowded and quite loud. Definitely don’t come here expecting fine dining. As for the smell some people are mentioning I can’t say I noticed anything.

Beer Stop 87 —– Oggi’s is such a weird place. My girlfriend and I walked in at about 8:45 pm on a Sunday night, they close at 10:00 pm. When we walked in, most of the staff was huddled around in a corner tallying their tips. A little weird, but okay. We grab a seat at the bar and the bartender was in another planet. She didn’t even stop to ask for drinks, she was busy texting and also counting her tips. This is very unprofessional, wait until the shift is up to do this. 20 minutes later I get up to grab a seat. Finally, one waitress wants to make $ here. She was pretty nice — we ordered two beers — IPA and stout — and again, the bartender doesn’t pour the drinks. The waitress ends up getting the drinks for us. Food wise, we ordered the garlic knots and buff pizza(8 inch). There was a large number of garlic knots in the order but unfortunately, the pizza was $ 11 bucks, was tiny, and tasted bland. It was also incredibly greasy! Service awful. Food mediocre. Restaurant smells. Spend your money elsewhere.
