This is a great casual place to meet up with friends or take the family out for dinner. The menu has a wide array of salads, seafood, sandwiches, and burgers. Everything we’ve tried has been great; far beyond what you’d expect from a local hangout. From the toasting of the buns to assembly of their burgers, they get it right. I highly recommend their shrimp po-boy sandwich or the burgers. The fried shrimp is a good choice too.

Found this gem on Unilocal and it is wonderful. Great service, excellent food. I had the Brisket Po Boy sandwich. Comes on a 10″ sour dough hogie roll, with fried pickle chips and sweet creamy Cole slaw that really adds just the right punch of flavor. I got their fries which are seasoned with salt pepper and parsley. Iced tea was cool and refreshing. My husband got the fried catfish po boy(comes similar to mine only with romaine and tartar sauce instead of slaw) and my brother in law got the turkey avocado sub and a shiner bock on tap. Good prices and great service with food you’ll be glad you ate! Pd $ 45.15 with tip.

What an amazing find on a long road trip, traveling through this little town of Del Rio! From the great service to the delicious appetizers and monstrous sandwiches and burgers, this place really impressed me. I may have to plan another trip through Del Rio just to eat here again!

Not very good food. My husband and I have eaten there twice. The food is edible but not anything special.

We got into town kind of late and we were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat and have a drink. The Blue Oasis was perfect. Their kitchen closes at 11, the music is killer, the staff(aka Breanna) is friendly, attentive, helpful and funny AND the food is incredible. From the shrimp po-boy to the big boy burger to the rattlers, everything was great.

The Cheesy Haven was Amazing! Best burger I’ve ever had. With a blend of Chuck and Brisket meat pattie and savory cheese(and a pico that was just spicy enough without overwhelming the burger… just enhancing)…so delicious! Fries were home style and well done. Highly recommend.(The service was attentive and very pleasant as well!)

Great restaurant! We had a large party and the service we received was excellent. Food was hot and delicious, and everyone enjoyed their meals. Shrimp was delicious. A safe bet for a good dinner in Del Rio.

When you feel like having really good bar food, a quite drink, sports and listening to country music… this is the place to be. Business bring me to Del Rio and i find myself in here for the Rattlers, Jalepenos and cream cheese wrapped in chicken, wrapped in bacon and fried. What more can you ask for? Jalepeno poppers are good, burgers are great, but you gotta try the sweet potato fries. They have a great happy hour and Wednesdays are $ 2.75 well drinks. Make it a point to stop in.

I didn’t come here expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. Don’t let the atmosphere throw you off. The food and drinks are great! I had the chili mango margarita and the south western chicken. There is a full bar and a back area for large groups/parties. We will definitely be back.

Wow just wow! This restaurant is amazing! Good atmosphere, servers were quick and friendly, food was amazing. If I lived here, this would be a weekly stop. Prices were fair! I got the avacado chips and those were amazing! For my course i got the Philly Cheesesteak and my word that was amazing. Would recommend as the only place worth going to in Del Rio!

I had the«Big Boy» burger and it was absolutely the best burger I’ve ever had. Delicious angus beef, grilled onion, thick bacon, perfectly cooked jalapeños. It looks too big to eat but I ate it all. I’m from California and we have a lot of good burgers but this one absolutely killed them all. Well worth the 20ish minute wait. 10⁄10. Appetizers were great too!

Love the food. But the only problem it is not consistent. But even with that the food is amazing. I love the fish any way and my husband loves the burgers.

In Del Rio for work. The options for dinner are limited. Solid bar with solid food. Ordered the fish tacos which the bartender recommended. Was a good option but wished they had a grilled version. I would go back.

Good, solid bar food. This isn’t gourmet or upscale or trendy, but it’s great pub fare, good service, friendly staff, and good drinks. I recommend the turkey avocado and bacon sandwich served on toast with hand cut fries. The sandwich is so fresh, the meat plentiful and good quality, the tomato and avocado are ripe. Large portions. Fried green beans and fried avocado slices are freshly battered and cooked, not prefrozen. Monday is margarita special day :)

Very nice place full bar and dining, cute bartender nachos were some of the best I’ve had. My friends ordered fish tacos and they looked great. I will definitely have to return when I do come back. The outside seating is excellent too.

Our first visit to the Blue Oasis was Valentine’s 2014. We called ahead of time to see if we needed to reserve a table etc. We were told it was first come first serve. They didn’t however tell us that it was a limited menu. The choices were ok but it was a little disappointing. It took over an hour to get 2 steaks out & then we waited an extra 30 minutes to get my daughters cheeseburger! We gave it another chance, we arrived a little after lunch time. We were the only ones their & it took another hour for our food. We ordered a grilled cheese for my daughter, a philly cheese steak sandwich & a chicken wrapped in bacon all for $ 60!!! Not including a tip, NEVER again!!!

Visiting for work, found this place thanks to Unilocal. Great Baja Fish Tacos… the fish is fried, but cornmeal batter instead of flour and lots of avocado. Spanish rice was also good, with a little spice. Charro beans… meh. Skip dessert… few options and the apple pie is pretty sad. Ok beer options, not great.

This is one of the best places here in Del Rio! Food is delicious. Had catfish for the first time and it was so good and flavorful. Ordered an Appletini and it was the best one I’ve had in town so far! Perfectly done. Definitely will be back. If you’re ever in town, this is a must place to go to!

This became my go to place before I moved a few weeks back. I hate seafood and their Baja Fish Tacos are phenomenal! Ambiance is great, beer is reasonably priced and they have an outdoor area which is nice when it’s not too hot and mosquitoes aren’t out. Service is hit or miss depending on who’s working. Their are 3 servers that are great. If you ask for Courtney you’ll have probably the best service in Del Rio and possibly anywhere you go after. She’s awesome! Only reason for the downgrade was a few times when the A-Team isn’t serving it was a rough experience. Manager seems like a great guy and genuinely wants you to have a good experience. Must go in Del Rio

I’m a little disappointed with the changes they have made to their Cobb salad. I’m most upset with the fact that they seemed to have replaced the bacon in the salad with those neon colored bacon bits that taste nothing like actual bacon. The other food they serve still seems to be of fairly good quality, and they do have a 10% military discount, so we will most likely return.
