Probably the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Suggestions from staff were perfect. Bread was awesome, perfect amount. Simply delicious. Highly recommend.

They have the best bread, its just like New York bread, that use the best lunch meats to make their sandwiches, to die for. I’m here every chance I get.

Stopped by on our way through town and was blown away. Had the Dippy Don French Dip and it was probably the best I’ve had in years. Fresh bread, great ingredients, it was amazing. The place is pretty small, so seating may be an issue. Lots of people doing the grab and go.

Food was great. Service was friendly enough. Was kind of weird the menu is behind you on the wall when your facing the register?. Wish they had a larger seating area, but good sandwiches if your walking by. Being downtown it is a mild challenge finding parking.

Guys behind the counter are rude as hell. But I love their sandwiches! Ok Corral and Up In Smoke are the best in my opinion. The bread and ingredients are super fresh. Best sandwich in Deland hands down!

Atmosphere and setting are fantastic. One of the best sandwiches I have had since I was as Carnegie Deli. Real New york deli! And very reasonable prices.

This may be the best sub in Central Florida. The bread was fantastic, but then so was everything. Great service!

I have yet to have anything I didn’t like from this place! We got the Up in Smoke and Balboa today and both were perfect!

Great little hole in the wall in downtown Deland. They fly their New York bread in fresh. High quality meats and ingredients made one good sandwich. I had their Up In Smoke ½ sandwich, which was plenty of food at 8 inches and as thick as club sandwich.

great sandwich shop. I always go with the turkey panini but everything is good and you really can’t go wrong with your order.

Genuine New York style deli sandwiches and salads. In true NY tradition the half is so huge you either share or take it home. Friendly service with a huge sandwich menu. Tiny place with limited seating so be prepared to go to the park or pull up a roadside bench to eat. Not to be missed.

I don’t even like subs but this place is the bomb! Along with not liking subs, I can’t stand pastrami but this place made a believer out of me. I just wish they were open a lot more than they are!

My kids and I stopped in today for lunch. We have always loved a good sub and Manzano’s certainly did not disappoint us. My daughter and I got the Italian Stallion while my son got a turkey panini. All tasted excellent with generous portions of meat. We will definitely be coming back!

I was born and raised in Central New Jersey and I have to say that Manzanos is by far the best sandwich shop I’ve ever eaten at. Their hot pastrami on rye rivals Katz Deli in the Bowery for sure. I’ve tried just about every sandwich they have to offer and I haven’t been disappointed yet! Perhaps it’s the boars head meat or the crunchy yet soft NY bread, either way you have to stop what you’re doing and go pick yourself up a sandwich! The Gods and Goddesses who create these to die for sandwiches are all very friendly and funny which makes the wait easier to deal with. You can always call in your order if you don’t want to wait. The prices are super affordable at about $ 8 for half, but I don’t think I’d mind dropping $ 25 on a sub from this place. My husband and I are making it a weekly tradition to pick up a loaf(or 2) to go with our Sunday sauce. I suggest you skip the Italian bread you get at whichever local grocery store you go to and do the same; you won’t be sorry!

This is an amazing place. Had to have the broadway again and it was just as good as last year. All the sandwiches are great. Little place, big hearts. Wish I lived closer!

I’ve always enjoyed the NSB location on Flagler and it’s amazing that this location equals or rivals the original location. Bring your appetite if your eating alone the half sub may be a stretch to get down. These are serious subs! Today it was the Broadway Hot Pastrami minus the banana peppers but plenty of provolone cheese and quality pastrami cajun mayo and spicy mustard add a bag of New Orleans Zapp Voodoo Kettle Chips and you’ve just hit a home run. Although this store is much smaller than the original you can find a seat most times either inside or out since most business people on their lunch hour order ahead and take them to go. I find the service here exceptionally friendly, funny and they are working hard to build your creation exactly as you ordered it. They aren’t cheap but the quality is there and once you try them you will be driving by the other sub shops to get back here.

Wow, awesome sandwiches & another stellar Florida find. Super excellent gourmet sandwiches & a nice selection of bottled beer to boot. I’m almost afraid to recommend because I like this place so much!

I don’t offer many reviews though I use Unilocal often when traveling. Places like this don’t come often no matter where you travel or from. Simply they are a sandwich shop for sandwich lovers. Shaved lettuce, paper thin boars head meat/veggies and perfect homemade bread. Sandwiches are my go to choice. I’ve had the best in most major cities and this little sandwich joint in the middle of Florida rivals them all. To the owners, thank you. To the sandwich makers, keep up the integrity that you offered me! It’s the difference between«a pretty good sandwich» and«one of the best in the country». I’m surprised you guys have less then 20 reviews! I contribute this to being located in a very small town in the middle of Florida!(At least from the perspective of a city guy.) Which in some ways makes you even that more impressive! *Luckily my in-laws are 10 min. from you! *For the record I had a sm. Italian Stallion and held the black olives. Every bite I had something good to say about it.(Better then the godfather at Bay Cities in LA that has nearly 3000 reviews!)
