Cute, quaint, and delicious. The restaurant is small with an open kitchen that’s surrounded by a bar with stools. All the food was cooked fresh to order. Burger was almost perfect. Fries are fresh cut. My wife had the breaded tenderloin which was very good– but was over shadowed by the burger. This little spot is worth stopping at if you’re passing thru Delphi and worth the drive if you’re not.

Great food and wonderful service, also can’t beat the prices for what you get. So short and sweet is not what they want don’t forget to order a malt when you are done it is a great way to top off your meal. Also the fries are great hand cut on site very few restaurants can pull off food like this.

Ehhh… it was just okay. It needs to be renamed as a diner because with the eat at counter and the greasy burgers and fries, a diner is what it was. We had a double cheeseburger, turkey sandwich and fries. Hubby like the burger, the turkey sandwich would have been MUCH better if they had toasted the hamburger bun it came on. But it ended up just being greasy. The fries were VERY greasy as well. If you like the diner scene, this is your place. But we were just stopping through on the way to a basketball game. It must be a local favorite… we won’t be back.

My wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch. We are from Lafayette and had no clue where to eat in Delphi. Very surprised in how awesome this little place is. Service… excellent. Price… very good. Food… typical diner menu but great taste and awesome selection. Glad to see that the Delphi Square is revamping and places like this make the difference.

Great place to eat. Everything is so fresh. Homemade fries are delicious. The wife says the tenderloin is the best she had ever had. I got to have a burger. Then I finish what she can’t. Yummy.

I have to say don’t judge this place by its «cover». The inside is cozy and personable. I liked how the place felt and looked. Relaxed and friendly. I had the Big Boy sandwich… it was so tasty! The staff are great. They never missed a beat. Don’t be put off by the way to the bathroom. You almost walk through the kitchen but it makes it unique. I will definitely come again.

Standards must be low in Delphi for The Sandwich Shop to merit the good reviews. The little joint has tradition and atmosphere going for it, and the greasy, steamy signature cheeseburgers have their fans. But for the grill to produce limp, oily French fries and for the server to deliver them to a table with a straight face means quality is not a concern. This shop gets a couple of stars for being open on the Fourth of July, but pride is lacking.

Laid back atmosphere, and you will leave satisfied! The only downside is there isn’t much seating, but being able to see someone prepare your food is always a plus. Another great thing about this restaurant is you can order breakfast all day.

Stop by this «sandwich» shop was an amazing experience. From the delicious food, grilled tenderloin was so tender and thick to the homemade fries… takes you back to days of quality food and personal service. Upon leaving was thanked for stopping and to come back real soon. A definite place to experience if you are in the area.

Our first visit here! Can’t believe we’ve not come here before! The food was excellent! The service was great and prices very reasonable. Burgers were very good especially the Western Burger. My daughter had the chef salad which was a good size and loaded with meat and veggies. The hand cut fries are some of the best we’ve had! Chocolate malt shake — delicious! I can go on and on — really everything was just awesome! Highly recommend!!!

You ever met a burger you can never say good bye to but instead «see ya later» Well for me its the Mushroom burger… I am always going to see it later in my dreams, my fantasy or craving for a juicy delicious burger.
