Very nice course in the middle of nowhere Indiana. I’ve played this course twice on my way back from Indy to Chitown on a business trip. Very playable track, well maintained, not too tight and well designed holes. I like that you have to use all the clubs in your bag. The clubhouse is also a great place to hang out and have some food/drinks. I would play this place again.

Beautiful course! Positives: Paved cart paths, nice golf carts with built in GPS touchscreens, greens and fairways in great shape, nice new clubhouse, and a good value for the price. Negative: Server in the clubhouse bar/grill didn’t know what a Sam Adams summer ale was. The service here was really lacking. For premium courses($ 50-$ 100) in NW Indiana Sandy Pines is right up there with The Course at Aberdeen in Valparaiso. Sandy Pines might even be a cut above.

Amazing course… maybe it was the 85+ degree spring day or the fact that it was a Wednesday afternoon. Nonetheless the landscape, course, staff, clubhouse and price was worth every penny!!!
