Best Buy

I wasn’t able to catch name. Stupid me. But it was an energetic, super friendly red-​headed lady around or in her 20s. She was super helpful and I just felt like we were already good friends! I’d come back just to have her help me again!

Bought a new phone with new service contract less than 2 weeks ago. At the time, the sales lady said the promo had just ended and we couldn’t get the promo. Yesterday, I see a commercial for a new promo (gift card for $ 250). They are making it WAY more difficult than it really needs to be to take care of their customers, requiring us to return phone, forcing us to pay prorated service, and making us get a new number.
I do not recommend Best Buy as a place to go for phones. Not my first bad experience with Best Buy and their mobile department.

Had to deal with customer service for over 1hr 30mins, leaving us there 30 mins after they closed due to the Asst. Manager PAUL avoiding us for the entire time for an exchange, until the last 4 mins. Poor exchange policy is one thing, but making us stand their for 1hr 30 mins, absolutely unacceptable.

I am moving my old PS3 to my girlfriends place. Since I bought a PS4 I never use it and she has no blu-​ray player.
So I stop by this best buy on the way to her place. My girlfriend isn’t a gamer so I wanted to grab a remote and I needed a new phone charger.
For this simple trip to the store, three separate people offered to help me while I was there. And these weren’t kids who were standing around either. These were folks who were working to maintain the store, but still took the time to help me out with finding the things I needed. And each of the people who helped me were very friendly.
Even the cashier was fun to speak with, clever, and very efficient.
The people of Denton are lucky to have a Best Buy location this dedicated to service. I’ll eagerly do business with these folks every time I need something they sell. And i thank them for the attention to details, product knowledge, and friendliness.

Geek Squad has always been helpful and good to us. We have their protection plan for our computers and it’s worked for us for about 6 years now. They keep everything up and running.

had to return FOUR non working comps, had one manager (Hispanic male) argue and yell at me when returning the 4^th one and in the end he was wrong, didn’t apologize or try to make it right in any way. I left in tears! Worst experience ever! I went to the Lewisville Best Buy and the first comp I got from them works flawlessly! I also called their Corporate office and they were VERY nice about the situation and assure me that they will be dealt with!

Went into Best Buy on Loop 288 trying to get my computer working and was met with horrible service and an unwilling assistance by the employes. I wandered around the store and had to physically find someone to help me. Gone are the days where people actually want to assist their guests.

Lots of first here; first review, first time on Unilocal and first time I’ve used a smart phone. My family upgraded from text and talk only to smart phones (4 Galaxy 4S’ s?); they had a great deal. Matt was the gentleman we spent the next 2 to 3 hours with. The computer was being difficult, our phones were old, he couldn’t set up all 4 lines, etc, etc. If he got frustrated he hid it well and stayed with us until all the phones were set up and ready to go. He even got Trevor, the Samsung guy to walk us through how to use our new phones. Kuddos to Matt for doing a wonderful job while dealing with just about every issue in the book and keeping up a good attitude.

Ryan and Ryan LOL in the geek squad mobile install unit are awesome! This is the most customer service oriented best buy ever. Will always go back!

As far as Best Buy’s go this one is one of the best ones I have been to. The staff is always helpful, they always have plenty of inventory in stock, and the store is always kept very clean.

Best Buy has decent deals on electronics and phones. The service plans they offer on phones are a pretty good deal. However, I always leave Best Buy feeling like I spent more than I should and it takes longer than it should. Customer service is usually OK here.

They honor their low price guarantee, no questions asked.

Paul, the customer relations person at Best Buy is very helpful and knowledgeable! Every time I come here I leave happy and satisfied with my purchase and knowing I got the best deal. He got no problems doing a price match for you if it is possible :) LOL :) I thought his name was David… hahahaha :) sowee…
