the pineapple shrimp is the best. all the food is fresh and the wait staff is friendly. I go there all the time and they are very welcoming. the sushi guy see’s my wife and makes a some sushi without seeds when we walk in. it makes her happy to see a place that actually cares about her health concern. momma is happy so I’m happy with them.

Do not eat here unless you want to be eating roaches. My sister in law found a roach in her food.

I’ve been here many, many times and it’s been pretty decent. But the last time I was there they thought I skipped on the check. I went to the bathroom and my daughter was getting food and when we both got back to the table, everything on the table had been cleared away and the staff were giving us unfriendly looks. Never going back.

We have found our favorite Denton Chinese food! Anything and everything we wanted was here like the chicken, sauces, rice, noodles, egg drop soup. They even have a sushi bar and an ice cream bar. All for an unbeatable price. $ 20 for my husband and I’s lunch! Loved the service as well! We left 100% satisfied and have returned many times and will continue to do so! :)

Went for lunch and everything was so good as usual. They were kind of busy but the buffet stayed stocked and fresh and our server was very attentive! Thank you!

This is my favorite splurge-meal place to eat. Unfortunately, it is a bit hit-and-miss. Sometimes it is crazy good and sometimes it is mediocre. I’ve noticed that if I go before or right at lunch time the food is cold and looks to be left-over. The food is very hot and fresh if I go right after the lunch rush when all the entrees have been restocked. I do not like that the staff sometimes takes all the cups from the table to refill the water. I always make a mark on my cup to make sure I get the same cup in return and they sometimes swap my cup with my fellow diner’s cup. My favorite selection is their jalapeño chicken. It is fantastic! Overall, a great place to eat. Just be sure to get there later into your lunch hour and keep an eye on your drink cup.

Great delivery service, always delivered sooner than the estimated time they give you. I’ve ordered a few times now and each order has been consistently great. Huge fan of the garlic chicken and the free cinnamon donuts they put in with the order!

This place used to be an awesome place to dine. The last 3 times I have been there all within the last 5 months, the food was old, had been out for a long time. We were there at 6pm so you think it would be fresh. The flavors were off, the soup was more sour than hot and sour, The Sushi was not good. Matter of fact Kroger sushi is better. The restaurant was hot and the service was poor. Very disappointed. I actually got sick, and I believe it was food poisoning. Started throwing up about 3 hrs after we left. Needless to say, I’m not going back! Denton has too many other places. Too bad for them, Should have known that at 6 pm you would at least have a dinner crowd, Wasn’t the case. About 6 tables of folks.

Rating a 3 overall as an average. 4 for take-out, 2 for buffet. My husband and I have been getting their take-our for years — if only we lived a tiny bit closer so they’d deliver to us! I give it 4 stars because it is always fast, hot, and decent-quality. Plus, they throw in complimentary cinnamon-sugar donut-things. Mmm. The food isn’t amazing, but for Denton, I don’t know anywhere better for Chinese take-out. I’ve only been in for their buffet once. Wasn’t very impressed — lots of selection, but while the food wasn’t bad, it wasn’t as good as their take-out. We sampled several dishes we’d gotten take-out of before and it was true across the board. Decided we’d stick to their take-out in the future — lots of better sit-down joints in Denton, though not many buffets.

I’ve eaten at my share of Chinese Buffets. This is one of the better ones. Each dish had a distinct flavor and food was hot and service was efficient with a human touch. I came back to this restaurant after 15 years. Glad to see they still serve some of the best Chinese in town.

This is the best Chinese buffet I’ve ever been to! They have such a good variety and all the times I’ve been the staff doesn’t have a problem with keeping everything stocked and full. The sushi selection was far superior than what you would expect from a buffet. My favorite thing there is the pineapple shrimp, but everything is good!

I am not a fan of Chinese Buffets at all, but my kids love them. They found this place and we tried it. I was actually pleasantly surprised. It has to be one of the better buffets. The servers do a great job keeping up with drinks and clearing away empty plates. This will be our go to place when we are looking for a buffet.

This has been my favorite buffet for the last 6 or 7 years in Denton. Wonderful buffet love the food here. I recently ordered delivery and was so disappointed. It took a very long time for the food to get here and my chicken was so overcooked that I was hardly ever able to eat it. I will be going back for the buffet soon and hoping this place hasn’t gone downhill

As Chinese Buffets go, this place is one of the best. It’s a nice and quiet place to share with your friends and family. The fried rice and noodles aren’t good at all, but everything else is great.

Every once in a while, I get a weird craving for Chinese buffet. We tried this place for the first time and it was ok. There was a lot of food, it was all hot. I tried many things including a sweet corn nugget(creamed corn fried in a little ball), wonton, some of the sushi offerings, kimchee, steamed rice, the two tofu offerings, and then some. I do like that they have Sriracha out to spice things up. I tried the rice noodles and threw in a few veggies at the teppanyaki grill but my mix must have been off, the thin rice noodles practically disintegrated so two bites & I was over that. It is very Americanized so if you like that style, you’re in for a good time. I think I should have ordered off the menu. The two tofu offerings were small, super fried, tofu bites so I didn’t have a lot of that as well. For my 2nd round, I just got some steamed rice and kimchee. I love kimchee, fermented spicy cabbage and veggies, mixed into the rice. I think I would have been just satisfied with that to start with. But, the food was all hot, the right temperature and there was a lot to choose from. They also have a few domestic beers and cold sake to wash it down. I still think Mr. Chopsticks does it better but it is not a buffet.

Heading home from work on Saturday evening and I have no plans(by choice) and I am HUNGRY. So I get into Denton and the first place I see coming up Bonnie Brae is Chinatown Café. I have 15 minutes before they close… yes, I am cutting it close but maybe I can get lucky. I get inside and they are in the process of shutting down, the buffet is already taken down, but I ask if I can get a to-go order and they say«Sure.» It had been raining a good portion of the day, so they told me business was slow today and were closing a little early, but I can get some food. Egg Drop soup, spare ribs and Mongolian Beef. «Ok we found some spare ribs, I don’t know if we have green onions for the Mongolian beef… ok they found some.» They had put everything away already. Roughly six minutes later I was out the door. Extra green onions, extra spicy and they even threw in two extra ribs!(regular order is only four ribs) For the most part, this is the only Chinese food restaurant I have ordered from in the three and a half years I have lived in Denton. They closely represent what I used to get growing up in NJ and their Egg Drop soup is on point. I have eaten the buffet before and it’s not too bad either. I do like how they include their version of a donut for a little dessert at the end. Warm pastry covered in sugar and cinnamon. Little touches. Good food. Support Denton businesses.
