Went for the country Christmas train. Short day trip from Greensboro. What a great family place to appreciate the meaning of Christmas and step back in time of the old south

If you or your family need to step back in time, visit the Farmpark over the 4^th. Food galore, Steak sandwiches, hot dog, hamburger’s. chicken pie.
Pinto beans and corn bread, just to name a few. All cooked on sight,
Several churches in the area cook BBQ all night for the 8 to 10 thousand
a day that come out to see the old steam engine’s, store’s on site, an old church was moved there recently. And did I mention the old Tractors, bunches
and bunches of tractors, some look better than the day they where built.
The men and women that have restored these parts of our history, my hats off to them. A ride on The Handy Dandy Railroad Train takes you all a round the park as the steam engine toots it’s whistle. Plus Home made
Ice Cream made buy old hit and miss engine’s. After you think you seen it all, go down in the wooded area behind the food strip and gander through
all the stuff for sale. You might find a piece of history to take home with you. We’ve been making this trip for fifteen plus years, From the Beauty
Pageant to the whole showing of tractors plus food and music. Take a day
and go back to your grand parents way of living. you’ll appreciate our
modern life, especially the AC.
