Hertz Rent A Car

Needing to rent a car on Monday July 4^th, 2016.
and Hertz 800 number both accept reservations for this location on this date. Hotwire, Travelocity, and others as well. Several other rental companies checked were closed on that day. I can not be without, so I contacted the office locally and was advised that they were NOT going to be open. I stated that I had a reservation and was advised that they would have eventually have given me a call to cancel reservation. (Then it may be too late to get rental plans for similar rate). I have called
twice to insure that the office was going to be open or closed. Both times, I have been advised that they would send an email and I would get a call back. It has been two weeks since my first complain, and one week since my second complaint. One is still able to book a car on their and other websites for pickup on July 4. If other locations can close out that day, what is it so difficult for this location to do it. Don’t give them your business, if for no other reason is that they can not contact you one way or another if they will be open.
