We made the mistake of buying something that was not in stock at the store. We were told we’d be contacted when the item(an ottoman to match the loveseat and sofa set we bought) came in. Fast forward 2 months. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect something in this much time. Even an apologetic call saying it’s not in stock yet but that our order wasn’t lost. I called – I don’t know how many times, I literally lost count. Out of all those calls, ONE did not go to a voice mail box that was too full to accept messages. I inquired about our ottoman, and naturally the salesman couldn’t provide information but promised a call back by the end of the day with an update. It’s been several weeks since that call, and no, nobody called back. I also sent in an email about it, and you can guess that was never answered. So we went in to get our money back last Saturday since they clearly either cannot or will not furnish us with our order. It seemed like it should be a relatively painless process, except we were told to return in a week for a check in the amount we paid. It was not there today and they claimed that was because whoever delivered their employees’ paychecks hadn’t been by yet. The reason I’m not waiting to see if this matter will have to be taken to the BBB and the Texas Attorney General(in other words, whether we’ll actually get our money back) BEFORE posting this review is because all of the above should be enough to warn others to be leery of this store. I’m willing to bet our issues getting a refund will continue. Oh, and of the items we actually did receive from them? One was broken upon arrival to our home.

Had a beautiful cork floor until I moved my furniture and found out that that my new furniture with the bun feet which should be flat on the bottom had a fixed hard button on the bottom which has worn holes in it where my husbands recliner is not holes groves. The girls at the store told me when I called that these were for leveling these don’t adjust I was careful when I purchased this furniture but obviously not careful enough it is a buyer beware

A new Home Zone opened up in our area recently and, since we were looking to buy new furniture for the house we were buying in a week, I decided to try them out. I was pleased to see there was a President’s Day sale going on. I was greeted by a dour-looking brunette beauty who, after asking me how I was, made no further effort to find out what I was seeking. After wandering around the whole store, I found a leather loveseat recliner I liked, so I went out to the parking lot to call and discuss it with my husband. After we agreed on a price range, I went back in and was met with an ironic«You came back!» by a tall, slender blond. I said, «Yes! Would you please follow me over here?» and walked toward the furniture I wanted. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw her throw her head back in an exasperated sigh and then she complied. She may have been a couple of years past teenage, but she hadn’t lost that attitude!(I have raised five.) It turned out the loveseat I was interested in did not come with a desired middle arm rest which she was quick to point out, in a semi-bored fashion. I paused to let her provide another option, which took her a bit too long. Eventually, she advised me that there were other types, not in the desired dark red color, «just brown» that did have that style and assured me they, unlike several I had seen in the showroom, were also in top grade leather. She lead me to a very nice burnished leather-type set which was about $ 179 more, but it was so attractive, I decided to buy. When I sat in the seat, I found it was a glider/recliner, not a rocker/recliner and commented on that.(I prefer gliders so this is not a problem.) She looked at me with a puzzled expression and started to argue the point until the original greeter(who hovered nearby) whispered that I was right. I told her I would buy it, whereupon, instead of congratulating me on a good choice or something similar, she immediately«checked availability». Big surprise: they had no more available in that style. She paused and let that negativity sink in until I had to ask if it could be ordered for the same price. She then advised me it could, or I could buy an electric one(I wanted manual) for $ 200 more. Again, seeming to not trust my intentions, before entering any data into the computer, she told me she would calculate the warranty, deliver and tax for me ahead of time on her phone. I sat, uninvited, at a nearby table while she did so(this is the ninth home for which I have bought furniture) and advised me that it would be another two hundred dollars. When I suggested that we could pick up the furniture and forego the warranty, she advised me that that was not an option, as they had no place to store it. It seemed like everywhere I turned I was told why what I wanted could not be. At this point, I had had enough and advised her that I would not be buying the loveseat and left. If she had seemed positive in the least and even feigned understanding of the things that stood in the way of this sale, I might have still bought, as the total was still within the budget. I seemed to me that she really was irritated to have to earn her commission/pay! I will not be back and would advise other shoppers to look elsewhere as well.

Awesome furniture store! They have really great long lasting products at resonance prices. We have bought many things here, and recommend Home Zone to friends. The customer service is excellent. They are quick to help you with anything you need, and will deliver most things. Definitely worth trying out.
