Norman J Pomerance, DDS

I’ve been going to Dr Pomerance for probably 8 – 9 years. A few years ago I moved from Denton to Fort Worth. I tried a dentist here in Ft Worth and she was awful, even caused more damange. SO yes, I take an afternoon or morning off and drive all the way to Denton (through all that I-​35 construction mess) to go to Dr Pomerance. I emphatically trust him and his staff! They’re always incredibly nice and caring! You can tell everyone loves working there and for him; on several early morning cleaning appointments through the years I’ve seen him arrive with breakfast for his staff… amazing! Truly a great guy who has your best interest at heart! He explains everything well, and so does his staff. When I had my wisdom teeth taken out he called later that evening to see how I was and if I needed anything to page him immediately no matter what time. NO ONE does that anymore! I dislike going to the dentist, who really likes going to one anyway, but I don’t mind going at all to Dr Pomerance.

This is the dentist that I’ve been looking for so many years.
I had a lot of different problems with my teeth, but the main thing I wanted to change is the look of my front teeth. I also wanted to whiten my teeth with the KOR Whitening method, because of some serious problems I’ve been having for all my life. After reading on the Internet about this method I decided to start my search for a dentist who could do his best. And what a shock when I called and visited many dentists, but nobody could professionally explain to me the steps of the KOR method I’ve wanted or even worse, they tried to say that it’s not possible to do what I wanted. After that I barely had any hope to change my life for the better.
But here was my savior — the site of Dr. Norman. After one visit I got the answers for all my questions and after the first appointment I absolutely was sure he and his staff could help me.
From the first visit I was charmed by the interior of his clinic, everything was made for a comfortable feeling, like at home. Every detail, every corner was made with love and respect to the visitors of the clinic. Sitting in the dentist’s chair you can see through the big windows a «green picture» — big tree, with wide branches, where you can find squirrels eating there nuts in the shade, birds setting on a small bird bath, drinking water.
I can say that in the office it is a little bit cool, but they do give you a comfortable blanket.
The second important thing is the staff. They are amazing. Very intelligent, empathetic and professional. After all my treatment I felt like they are my family, I saw how for them it is important to see my truthful feelings from their work. They wanted me feel confident and did everything for that.
And of course the doctor. He is awesome person. Did a great job! He was very attentive, thoughtful and a real professional.
Few times I called to the office during a non-​working time, but in few minutes later I got a call back from the doctor’s home number. He gave me some advice and recommendations.
Also Dr. Pomerance could call me after the appointment to ask if everything was alright and if anything bothered me.
I would recommend this dentist to everybody. I feel happy now that I can be confident and not hide problems from my dentist.

If there is more than 5 stars I would give to Dr.Norman. He’s absolutely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He does the impossible to make you comfortable and happy. Many stories happened with my wife and I prove that. THANKS DR AND HIS STAFF!!!

I have been here several times now. I had exposed roots that were slowly getting worn down and needed to be bonded to protect them from further damage. Dr Pomerance is great! All of the staff are so sweet and caring. I am very glad to have found this place.

Friendly and professional service with an inviting office. Over here, the dental hygienist does the regular cleaning and thereafter, Dr. Pomerance will come in and follow up on their work to make sure everything is alright.
My biggest gripe over here is that they do try to suck your pennies out of you. Always be sure to ask if anything cost anything and check your bill!
When you go for regular cleaning, be sure to refuse the fluoride if you don’t want to unexpectedly pay for it. Also, one time I was billed incorrectly and I had to call them to verify my bill. Additionally, if you make last minute cancellations, they will charge you a hefty fee for not showing up! I understand that they are trying to ‘protect’ their business as there a flaky patients but to suddenly get a huge sum of bill slapped in my face for not showing up even though I called the office to cancel my appointment the day before, was aggravating. After taking a lot of effort to explain to them my situation they FINALLY agreed to waive the fee!

My friend had an infected wisdom tooth and was in excruciating pain. She was crying so badly I could barely understand her. In desperation I called and they made room for her and took great care of her.
The staff was incredibly sympathetic and friendly and Dr. Norman was awesome!
He even followed up on her personally which demonstrated to me he really cares, and is a class act.
The room where the dental work takes place was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. It was like Texas Western interior design meets high tech dental facility.
It was like, if Bill Gates was a cowboy and got together with John Wayne to create a high tech relaxing atmosphere to get your teeth worked on, this would be it.
But it was really the staff, their kindness and Dr. Norman’s charisma, skill and genuineness that won me over.
Since I’ve moved into this area and don’t have my own dentist, I’ve decided to make Dr. Norman my dentist as well.

I absolutely love this dentist. I am a dentist phobe, I must add. Everyone in the office remembers my name even when I call in. I love the fact that I can call in and actually speak with the doctor if necessary. Every time I have had major work done (root canal, extraction), the dentist himself calls me later that evening to check on me. During the procedures if anything hurts at all he will back off and give you a second to recover instead of making you «push through».
I have nothing but good things to say about the dentist and his staff.

Its kinda weird reviewing a dentist office, but this guy and his staff are the best. My wife went there after some friends kept going on and on about him.
OK, so first visit was last week, really nice people. We get a plan of what my wife needs to do to get back on dental track.
Yesterday, all of a sudden she was in incredible pain, she calls the dentist and she gets antibiotics and pain meds. Today she goes in and gets a root canal to fix the trouble. The staff asked me if I wanted coffee while she was in there. To me this was really nice because it was obviously her own and not something they put out everyday. I mean it is a dentist office, ya know staining the teeth and all.
So anyway, all went well and the phone rings at 8pm tonight. It was Dr. Pomerance calling to see if my wife was OK and to page him if she needs anything.
Again this may seem trivial, but to me they really go out of there way for their patients.
