This is a great little unpaved walking trail that since I moved away from this side of town I rarely get to use now. It can be a bit crowded on nice weekend days with bikers and walkers, but it is well kept(except for the time a year or two ago when we got flooded and a bunch of dead fish floated onto the trail) and nicely shaded for hot days. Not sure why this one is a $ 7 per person like some of the larger locations(such as Isle du Boise launch), since it is just a walking trail but we have a park pass so it is a non-issue for me.

10 mile gravel trail from the 380 entrance in Denton to the Isle du Bois Unit of Ray Roberts Lake State Park. It is straight, flat, and a fairly boring trail but great for putting on miles. Joins up to the trails at Isle du Bois which are much more fun. Water available only at the Highway 380, FM428, and 455 trailheads.
