Jay is an extremely personable guy and great at what he does. He gave my 1200 mkIII’s some much needed love after being banged around by UPS. Still running great. About to bring him another piece of equipment to repair, and I’m confident he’ll be able to breath some new life into it.
He apparently does mail-​in repairs as well, so don’t worry about distance getting in between you and service.

Not a lot of options for getting Pioneer CDJ’s fixed here in Hawaii. I was super-​stoked to find Jay online.
He was responsive, professional and communicated well. He worked within our time frame, as we needed our CDJ back before an event. His pricing really can’t be beat.
He switched out the play button assembly (all the control buttons), did his maintenance service, and replaced the laser transport mechanism /​laser diode. He also even rebuilt the JOG platter. CDJ is like new and so smooth.
I highly recommend him, and will be using him again if I have any more equipment that needs help.

Jay at Revolution knows his stuff; I’m not a DJ and was simply looking to get my MKII calibrated to achieve the highest quality possible. For a (very) reasonable fee, Jay aligned my cartridge, fixed my height adjustment wheel, and installed stronger RCA cables that eliminated the need for a ground wire. I’m listening to one of my Zappa records in the sanctity of my home as I write this, and let me be frank: I have never heard a vinyl play so beautifully.
Highly recommend this place and its services, it was worth every penny!

I recommend this company more than the authorized pioneer dealers. Repaired my CDJ 2000 flimsy USB Port. They received my Unit on Monday and I received it back repaired and cleaned on Friday. If you are a DJ and need your equipment repaired, do not hesitate to contact them.

ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! Jay at Revolution Turntable and Mixer Lab has repaired, maintained, and modified my mixers and turntables for years. He has always had TONS of great advice for me and even completely replaced one of my Technics tables and a road case when some record store lost it. He was also even nice enough to loan me a Pioneer mixer for a few months. He worked on my custom DJ console and did everything the way I wanted it and helped me decide which mixer would work best. I can say that I am 100% satisfied with all the work that Revolution has done. Always able to do any modification that I have asked for. He really gives every turntable and mixer TLC. I would not take my equipment to anyone else.

This is a one man operation. He repairs equipment. And he does it very, very well.
I live in NY, and I’ve never met Jay, but I knew the moment I called him that it was worth the risk and cost to ship my Pioneer CDJ-​800 MK1 to him for repair. There are many DJ shops and repair shacks in this city and state, but none of them give that «caring» vibe you look for in a repair operation. I called Jay, gave him my error code and he gave a prompt educated guess and even a «worst scenario» quote. He’s easy to keep in touch with over the phone and returns calls the same day, isn’t in a rush to get off of the phone with you and will walk you through what he does to any unit you may send in. Highly recommended.
